I am curious about which ROMs everyone is running and enjoying the most.

Cm all the way

Lovin' me some tasty Froyo, with Sky Raider 1.9.
CM too. Tried Sky Raider, but CM is just so clean and fast I had to switch back. I can live without a camera for a couple weeks
Interested to see the replies to this one as well - I would love to go to CM6, but losing the camera means too much to me right now (work related, sadly).
I tried out CM6 (Koush_Test) last night. The one interesting thing I noticed, was the battery was draining like crazy. The battery stat said the display was utilizing 75%.
I went back, due to not having the Camera... When you have kids, I need to be ready.. It was fun to mess with.
I am on Jager 1.8ota and stock kernel and I love it I was on his 1.8 with the hydra 1.13 kernel which is really great too!
Stock 2.1! I have overclocked/hacked every electronic device in my house that could possibly have it done except for my phone. I want to wait for the official Froyo OTA update then have a go at it (in the meantime I will just have to settle with jtagging my Xbox 360 and setting it up to run games off an external HD =).
Been using 1.2 yasr and have been really happy. I think i just like launcher pro though. Love to do cm6 but the camera is an issue for me as well. Official froyo will be welcomed.

It's good. Basically rooting your phone, removing the junk (sense included), leaving exchange support and adding launcher pro.

It's way better it's like stock ROM but without sense and a lot faster and it has great batterylife!! i'm actually using it and it proved that it's the best out there, with an undervolt and overclock hydra kernel you don't need anything else, would love to use skyrider 1.9 but i'm waiting for the camera, i already tried jagger, CM and basically everyone on incredibleroms dot com and believe YASR is way better if you need link just search here in the forum yasr 1.1! =) cheers

Hello everyone, I was just wondering about how long, if ever, the sense 3.0 port will be fully operational without bugs. I know it has just begun but I love it so much, I want to know what I can look forward to. Thanks in advance for any response.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Tomorrow, it will be totally operational tomorrow.
Or, it'll be ready when it's ready. These things take time. You'd need to ask a developer who's working on one. If you want to help out, it could be operational sooner vs later.
First rule of Development, don't ask for an ETA.

I've heard it said that sense 3.0 wont ever be totally smooth/stable due to our phones hardware and drivers.

That really blows cause I absolutely love the way it operates and I think that I could stick with my since for quite a while longer if it was smooth and non-buggy

I'm not a dev so I really couldn't say for sure, just going by what some other devs have said. Who knows though, it seems like sense 2.0/2.1 ports with 3.0 features are running pretty well. Not really sure though, haven't tried all of em out yet.

Yea they aren't but me and incubus and other devs will do whatever we can to make it as stable as possible
Joel, I've been following you and incubus very closely and I've flashed a few of your 3.0 Roms. They are awesome!! For some reason, I just don't have the reliability that some other users are having. I guess ill just have to have some patience and I'm sure you guys will rock it out soon. Thanks for all you do!!!

Agreed! I'm currently running GingerSense ReMix Beta 4 and it's surprisingly stable. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1089295
I ran Warm Z Two point Two on my inc, and I haven't found anything all that great about Sense 3.0 vs Sense 2.0. New lock screen, some more animations, but that's about it. Am I missing something?

That's pretty much it, the lockscreen is the "big deal". Personally I think HTC could have upped their game a bit more with sense 3.0, but I'm not really a fan of their UI anyway. For such a big player in the phone game I guess its just seems a bit underwhelming, mainly cosmetic things without adding any real (new) functionality.

Ok cool, I'll probably give it a miss if I have to pay for it though life ain't cheap for me at the moment
Don't know about you guys but I'm tired of sense. After not using it the only thing I miss is beats and the camera app.
Uses so much battery to produce a wishy washy oh look at me effects, are they really needed?.... No. Cyanogenmod ftw!

I dont really agree with you..
I was using Virtuous ROM. It was pretty cool, but when i flash a new virtuous rom without wiping, my DHD sometimes restarts. So i don't know if it was because od no wipe, or in the rom, i flashed runny 1.4, and i am happy with it.
I love Sense, hate iPhone, so i hate something like MIUI or whatever
It only takes a few more minutes to wipe and it's gonna lessen your chances of problems so i'm not sure why you don't. I'm sure you needed to wipe when you flashed runny too so I guess that was what the problem was. Anyway I hear nothing but good things about it so all the best

Thats the cool thing about android you have the choices!
I'm currently on MIUI and really love the theming possibilities (want another launcher effect? just hit 2 buttons and switch from 2d iphone style to 3d sense 3 style ), the fully working bluetooth drivers and the music app is just perfect. And it was worth it just for putting on the iphone4 theme and showing it to my applefanboy buddy. muhaha the look on his face - prizeless.
But i'm missing some sense stuff as well. Especially the camera and the mail/weather app. You have to make compromises or look for replacements with some apps. I think ill stick with MIUI until HTC releases an official Sense 3.x version for our DHD

There is no way your are getting 3 days battery life with moderate to high usage. It's a fact sense is a battery hog there is no denying it.

@infexis You say you have miui dual booting on RCMix3D? How? When I do it, it boots from sense (phone ROM) to miui (sd) fine, but when I try to boot back into sense it bootloops. Miui is ext2

hi guys im looking around for different builds and all i see its sense 3.0, 3.5 and as for me i really dont like sense, is there any other rom that's good without sense on it???
There are several CM7 variants on in the Dev section as well as MIUI.
Check the screenshots in the various threads to get an idea of what they look like.

Hey,
I have the same 'problem'. I'm not too fond of the sense ui. I've been using BlackICE and it is very fast and stable, in my opinion. Give it a go and let me know if it's good. I'm using this until a full/stable version of ICS is released

+1
My original opinion about MIUI was less than kind. Something along the line of "If I wanted a bloody iPhone, I'd have bought one. Blah, blah." However, out of sheer boredom I flashed Derek's build one day. I used MIUI for a couple of months. Thats, like, a record for me. If you don't like the launcher drop Launcher Pro, Go launcher or whatever on top. The options, popup sms, THEMES (my God, the themes) and raw speed are phenomenal.

ok guys, so today i will be bringing you guys a video of my Rooted Droid incredible and i will be running a Game Lag Test for you
I am using the Liberated v3.0 Custom ROM and Stock HTC Kernal
(if you guys can recomend a good Custom kernal for little as possible lag, good connection, and good battery life, it would be greatly appreciated)
ok guys so tell me what you think
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPw2fhHgLHg
Looks pretty awful as far as lag goes. If there was a free version of NFS I'd try it out as a comparison but unfortunately $10 is way too much.
I've never been happy with any Sense based ROM. Always slow and atrocious battery life. CyanogenMod for me. Much smoother and more customizable. If you want to stick with Sense I really can't give a good recommendation. The day I left Sense for CM I never once looked back.

That's interesting, I actually prefer sense. Cm actually had worse batt life on my phone anytime I used it in comparison. I would suggest using the ultimateinc Rom 1.1. I've had my phone on with light use using tinys kernel since 8 this morning, It's 630p right now, and its at 70%. I would say that's great batt life.

This. Are you using an app on the device? It looks like you are, and that alone will slow it down horribly.
I'm a previous Incredible owner and I am actually the developer of the ROM you're using. NFS Shift ran just fine on mine.
