Cool story bro.
How can we verify these photo's are the real deal? Build information can be easily changed with root rights and launcher themes can be designed.

Oh don't start that, these have come from the same source that gave us gingerbread pictures last year. Those pictures turned out to be very real so we have no reasons to distrust these ones.

Same here. It may as well be 2.3.7.
The main UI will be largely the same however certain elements will have more of a 3.x twist to them, like the widget screen and app switcher.
Also apps will work differently when in landscape (tablet mode) to portrait (phone mode).
I see the word "soju" in those screen shots... Thats a Korean Alcohol... Just sayin'

Taken from Engadget comments.
-Honeycomb uses a much newer kernel build, 2.6.36, and ICS was allegedly supposed to use the new Linux 3.0 kernel
-Phone icon taken directly from froyo, not even gingerbread
-Android version is supposed to say the version number, not name, even with previous leaks with gingerbread they always showed the number. ie 3.1 or 4.0
-This has a teal blue theme rather than the dark blue colors of Honeycomb
-App tray should be semi-transparent, where are the holographic UI elements from Honeycomb?
- Shouldnt the clock have an LED font?
- That power control widget has been removed ever since Honeycomb

just saying, i dont care if this pic is real or not, i just hyped cuz of the new version. no matter how small the improvements, i love updates!

haha yes but only half of it. spend most of my times on windows though.
Just saying, this guy could have installed a custom launcher and edited build.prop to make it say IceCreamSandwich..
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA Premium App
Nothing against the guy but I dont see the real point in editing the pictures, infact i dont see the whole point of this "proof of concept" photo. Was expecting more changes from ICS though.. I wonder how it performs resolution scaling with apps?
I still hope those are fake or just an early test version. Can't really see much improvement if that's what ICS looks. Hopefully it will be much better than that.

Do you realize that each one of those builds is based off a different phone rom? They are all newly released Roms and I'm sure once he gets enough feedback on them he will settle on the best one or two and continue making them better.

this is mine. i not completely original, i mimicked one ive seen in another thread.
i had talk with a guy working in samsung he told me that there is no tuchwiz 4 for galaxy s and update is expected in april ( In europe)
Same funcations as I9000XWJV1 with bug fix
Damn, again a "had talk with a guy working in samsung he told me that" thread. Again a waste of time ;s

too bad, would really love touch wizz 4.0
i don't like the icons in touchwizz 3.0, they are to big
as tw 4 is the only real benefit of the s2 i 'd really wonder if samsung was so stupid to give it to the galaxy s users.
i'd probably fire the responsible manager as sammy marketing chief if that actually happens as user i hope for tw4 of course, cant be worse than tw3 or cm as it is atm.
I would like to try TouchWiz 4. The YouTube videos of the SGS2 seems to be very nice. TouchWiz 3 was great, but has some problems, like the homescreen is left and not in the middle.
We wont get tw4 as we are only single prossesor and that will be reason and all these mates at samsung stories starting to get boaring only fact is beta out and final will be realesed when they decide to .be content with what we have amd thats the number 1 mobile on planet that initself should suffice but we want gingerbread are we ever going to be satisfied i dout it

For that you could try gtg465x's modded touchwiz 3. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=822523. It has middle homescreen, adds alphabetical order of app drawer and a nice 5 columns fixed apps on the bottom. You only need a rooted device and works on stock ROMs
Are people realy taking this kinda post seriously?

bah..tw3 or 4 are slowly and heavy ,,realy i prefer cyanogenmod..
I hear that the 2.3 will come out before Milestone 2.2.
p.s. I just a angry mob just switch from MS to I9000
Still no Gingerbread/beard so I guess we'll just have to wait until end of March/beginning of April which is just around the corner. =)
A guy at work told me that his cousin's wife works at Samsung somwhere. She said that 2.3 will in fact have touchwiz 5.
*kicked myself using the new button
1.Download J/Z's CM7 ROM
2.Install Sonnysekhon's Amazing ICS theme for CM7. Download and install the Metamorph zip as well!
3.Download and install the ICS Launcher Clone. It's really smooth and pretty good in mimicking the features. There are a few bugs though but they're not that bad!
4.Download the ICS Apps listed here.Note:I've only tried Google Music, not the others. Use at your own risk. The ICS launcher shown is the same as the one in step 2.
5.Download and flash The ICS font
Now your phone will look a lot like Ice Cream Sandwich!

Yeah there are a few things about that launcher that bother me too much to be able to use it full time.
The scrolling dock annoys me
is the font works on stock rom?
removing the virtual keyboard would be an amazing idea being completly honest

Sometimes (Very rarely) FCs
Widgets can be hard to move around
The dock bar is really weird
The app drawer is wrong, it should go horizontally like the real ICS
Overall it's a good start, and it will get better.
looks cool, will try it!
It think it looks really nice, exspecially the dailer and the notificationbar, would it be possible to rip them out of this rom and use them in my current theme?
What should I flash the font.zip with have tried with cwm recovery only got "aborted" then tried with xrecovery there it only get stuck and nothing happens and I need to pull out the battery.?

Updates can make it much better. They need to fix the app drawer, dock bar and app carousel and it'll be alright.

Too big. I browse XDA on my second monitor which is a 15 inch. Besides that, I think it looks alright.
I like it. It is bigger. Should look better on my 24" Monitor when I get it, also should look much better at 1080p as well.
it is a bit large but I think I like it better than the 2010 theme. I wish they had a floating bar a the top though, one that would stay while you scroll with the account options and maybe page selection.
I fixed my problem by going to control panel, edit options, and changing the skin to the last one on the list. Now I get the nice theme and I will not have to read XDA on my bigger monitor.

If they truly wanted to, they could prevent users from reaching the forums that have ad blocking apps, extensions and host files preventing their revenue sources.
