Iphone 4 (she HATES my phone) I miss the smoothness of the scrolling and pinch to zoom stuff. Also, SMS/MMS play like they should. Hoping CM7 or MIUI helps performance out.

I guess the real question is, if she is using android, can you leave well enough alone or do you still root and install custom roms on her phone? I have adixmod or something on her defy, she doesn't notice the difference except the improved battery life.

im single but my ex used iphone 4
Wanted her to get an Atrix just bc I know how to mod it and have everything, but she wanted the Inspire. Couldn't talk her out if it. She likes it, I hate it. It's not bad, but def prefer my phone. She wont let me mod it. She isn't too happy with the battery life so eventually she will let me tinker and mod.

You have a FFC on your Vibrant? is that the one thing I heard about where you just manually put one in and use the i9000's camera app to use it? How could you trade in a G2 for a Vibrant? The G2 has FAR more dev support than most phones right now, it was like the second or first one to for Cyanogen to get 2.3 on it, that should tell you some thing right there.

No kidding. Going from the G2 to the Vibrant to a Nexus 1? Somebody needs to research their phones a little.
i have traded alot of phones on craigslist/kijiji. There are more buyers for a nexus one. Do the trade and sell the nexus one-it will be a quick sale though u might lose 50 or so, its still not too big a hit.

I would sell the vibrant and just wait for the chance for a cheap g2 to come out. I sold my vibrant for 250 and bought a g2 for 300(cheap since it was a few weeks after launch). Or hope someone wants to trade for a g2

Back again, my friend was showing off his hd2 today and it was pretty sweet, he has wp7 on it, and it was so fast and smooth, so I was thinking about trading my vibrant 4g for one, do you think it's worth it?

I'm going to be very happy with ICS on my Evo when it lands in a few months. The phone is amazing and does everything I want it to.
Only a matter of time before an ICS ROM is developed for the 4G. Element are already popping up.
Still loving my og evo but can't wait to see what the devs can do with ics

So a little while ago I bought a "Droid 2 Global in Black" on Amazon... but it turned out to be a LOCKED CDMA Verizon device. They won't take it back, so I'm stuck with it. I rooted and installed CM7, but I really can't think of a use for this phone. I don't think I want it as a media player or anything.
Any suggestions?

You can use it as a home phone, land line replacement. Put a google voice number on it and set it up to work over wifi then just leave it at home.

Just wanted to thank the epic 4G devs and community for making it the best phone I have ever had. Sadly dropped and broke my epic so its back to the EVO. You all rock from 2.2 to 4.2.1 dude we came a long way! Maybe I will see yall in the nexus 5 thread someday. Take it easy guys
