Plume not working on my Gtab 10.1 after update! - Galaxy Tab 10.1 General

Ever since I updated my Tab to the Touchwiz UX my plume is not working. I attached a screenshot of the issue. There is no place for me to input my username or password. Any suggestions?

Same here. Any fixes to date? Cannot authenticate Twitter credentials.

For me it works fine.
Kill app than try clear app data and cache data
If this not helps try uninstall than reinstall.

Is this for real? There's a big 'Start' button at the bottom of that screenshot. You need to hit that and then you're forwarded to the official Twitter login page to authenticate.

Yeah and then it fails, if you read what we said.

I think you have to go to plume's website and authorize it.

Right, open the app and it gives that screen with no fields. Then you hit start, it thinks and then says authentification failed.

What's wrong with xda app

I know it was mentioned that xda app crashes on the iconia tab but this goes further. I can't access xda web site with browser too (can't find disable java ) and from my phone (epic) I don't see Q posts click-able underneath general post line like on pc, so from my tab can't access xda all.

I have had the web close like that on me before, but never consistently for a single site, and never on XDA :/ try this:
Settings> applications> manage applications> all> browser> clear data. No guarantees, but maybe it will fix it.
I think he's talking about xda app. It's a known issue on the free app.
**My mistake I just re-read the the question... no idea why the browser would be crashing for you on xda. Dolphin, Opera and OEM all work for me.
he gave no specifics in his original post, ie: which version of HC, what build, etc. No way to help him based on a question without pertinent info.

That's really odd, when you flashed the ROM again, was it in CWM or a stock Odin? If you haven't tried the latter, I'd give that a go, you can get the stock ROMs from SamFirmware.

i flashed it in stock Odin mode..is there any other source for firmware download??because i took the stock version from Samfirmware..so, if there is other source, maybe i can try and see what makes the difference,,

Factory Mode is a mode that Samsung uses to do maintenance on the tab. You can't leave it yourself.. You have to send it to Samsung. They don't give out the codes to quit out of Factory Mode.

I've got the factory mode app too, but have never had any problems.
Just by it being there don't mean it's been placed into factory mode, nor would I ever dare run the app, just leave it alone.
Just because it's there doesn't point to being stuck in factory mode and the tab needing sent in for repair. There would be more issues than not being able to lock the screen if that was the case.

Thats pretty much the main resource (aside from KIES, I suppose), I know it sounds weird, but you know after you wipe the device and you get presented with the setup wizard, have you gone through it without adding the Google account details, so it doesn't download the settings n stuff through the back up/restoration part.

My understanding is the GPU requires this portion of system memory. Kind of like how some cheap onboard video cards in PC's used to. Which makes it all the better to have 2gb RAM. If not, you'd only have 620mb usable memory!

Dumb question but how do you sign up for a samsung account? When I first activated my phone I got a notification and started running through the samsung account signup but during the process the app crashed, I didn't finish, and it never notified me again and I couldn't figure out how to create the samsung account from scratch.

It closes the app. You can test this by going into task manager and go to the running apps. Now swipe away any of the corresponding app in the recent app(hold home) and then when you go back the task manager the app you just swipe will be gone or will eventually go away. Also your remaining ram will go up.

Can no longer “check in" on FB

I know this sounds silly but it's actually really bothering me, mostly because I can't figure out why it's not working.
When I had my phone stock unrooted I could check in on FB.
When I was stock rooted I could still check in on FB.
I debloated, installed xposed and wanam, added a modded launcher and now I can't check in.
What crazy is I have done almost all the same changes to my wife note 3 and she still can check in.
Only thing we have done different is the debloating.
Curious if anyone else has broke this after debloating?
Thanks

And WTF is this?

I know this is probably more related to the actual FB app but I feel like it's a complete violation of privacy and I don't particularly want this happening but can not seem to find a setting to turn it off.. Here is a scenario where this would be completely out of place and unacceptable..
You take a picture of something private .. You or a friend gets your phone and opens the Facebook app... Oh look the last 3 pics you took.... Really? WTF? Anyone know how to turn this off?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Check settings. Turn off facebook sync photos.
Just using Facebook is violation of privacy. Even if you find away to turn it off that feature; Facebook is always sucking up information from your device (contacts, location, call logs, pictures, and so on). This is one of the reason I don't use Facebook.
