SpeedX is freakin awesome. Its a tunel game, you drive through a twisting tonel and you have to avoid objects and so forth its truely a good game. Also Armored strike is good its kinda like Worms for the PC its got chat and all. Light racer, its like the tron bike game. Welcome to hell, its like nazi zombies lol. And ill put in a second note for Abduction, its not a bad game but certainly better choices are had.

Can't go wrong with nes,snes,psxdroid..cm6,wiicontroller..unbelievable..x..

just installed angry birds beta, plays fine on my evo (fresh 3.2)
closed out the first time i ran it, but second time im playing the game now... seems fun so far.

Agreed. Although I just started NFS Shift. Great graphics, it shows what is possible once games are optimized for snapdragon

I like Antigen and Abduction a lot. If you want some decent 3D games, HAWX, NOVA, Let's Golf, and Asphalt 5 from Gameloft are pretty great. Let's Golf is free for Evo and Nexus One users, though I'm not sure for how much longer. Definitely get that. HAWX is a lot of fun, and NOVA is one of the better FPS's for touch screen phones.

My personal favs so far, Android could stand to gain more but it's picking up at least.

We were playing Angry Birds all weekend at my house. Everyone, wife/3yr. old son/myself, were all taking our turns in stride to bash with the birds.
I honestly can't wait for the full version release.

I have a ton of games, and the one that really stands out is Raging Thunder. It's a really fun, 3-D arcade style racer that runs 1,000x better than Asphalt 5 can (Yes, I'm FPS unlocked and over clocking when I play).

How can I get Let's Golf for free? I had it before and flashed a new ROM and lost it. Now when I go to their site it's giving me the option I'd downloading the trial. I have the apk but when I install it it's acting like the copy is pirated.

I missed the whole PSX generation because I was busy partying.
I went from Atari 2600... to SNES to the Xbox and now PS3.
I was wondering what the top games that everyone should play are. I love games like Mario, God of War and Uncharted.

Good games listed above but a quite a few of them don't work properly on the FPSE emulator in my opinion. Some don't work at all.

Yes I loved the first Metroid. I haven't played the super one yet.
NES and Atari 2600 were some of my favorite gaming times

perhaps BOB can round up a list of top games to play online for the android and show them on xda tv?

Stardunk is pretty fun. Very smooth and a good time waster hehe.

If you don't need super graphics effects etc. I recommend 2/4 player reactor. If you like compete it's the best choice

1) Modern combat 4: MMOFPS - Nearly an exact clone of the cod series. Supports excellent 1080p graphics (on certain devices). Multiplayer is very stable/campaign is awesome; and with a dual shock 3 controller and custom touch emulation through sixaxis it feels more like a console then anything.
2) Order and chaos: MMORPG - If you like WoW or similar games this is it. It's exactly like WoW. Outstanding graphics, tons of players, etc. Easily addicting for any mmorpg lover. Very polished controls and UI.
3) Ravensword: Shadowlands: Sandbox RPG - Probably the best graphics I've seen on mobile yet. Elder scroll based game. Open world, cliche leveling and tree system. Ability to play in both 1st and 3rd person perspectives. Large world map, etc.
My top 3 games, though modern combat 5 is due to release sometime soon before the end of the year.

What's your favorite game/What are you currently playing?

I was curious to see what everyone has been playing currently. For me I have been playing Pokemon Emerald, Asphalt 6, and Dead Space.

Don't really have a favorite yet, but Castle of Shadows has been eating my time. That game is really damn fun! The creators actually did re-release it as Avenger without the requirement of constant online connection and with gameplay upgrades, but the new soundtrack just isn't charming enough for me (not acceptable for me, I'm a bit of a vgmusic enthusiast).
Also been really into Modern Combat 3. The campaign actually feels kinda intense, and I've been on this high all since I got online and found out just how awesome the physical controller advantage was.
If I had to pick a favorite though, it'd have to be Spectral Souls. That is an incredibly deep RPG to have on a phone. And since the PSP version is unplayable, this is its only *real* release.

hey TLR i was really dissapointed by the mc3 controls i thought from reading your review they would be like the nova 2 or rainbow six ones but unfortunately not tell me how you play online with these did u get used to em or do you have a special technique or mind powers or whutttt TLR!!

I've been playing Dead Space, Plants vs Zombies and Sonic CD.

I'm currently playing Galaxy on Fire 2 and 9mm

Dungeon Hunter II is my favorite even though
a)the stupidity of having the attack button (X) be the same button as skip cutscenes means I missed 3/4 of the storyline in the game after a frantic battle with a final boss baddie.
b) I can't play online because it won't let me enter my password (i try to go to the password box and type and it just adds the letters to the end of my username).
Since I beat it I'm currently playing NOVA 2, Sonic CD (2nd time around), Toki Tori, Galaxy On Fire 2 (prob my second favorite), Hot Pursuit (my like on off game, I play for a bit then I leave it alone for a while), and holding on Shadow Guardian waiting for Gameloft to fix the damn game so I can beat it finally.

There are plenty of good games, and there have also been multiple exclusives, just that they don't hold exclusives permanent on the Play, it just doesn't make financial sense. Currently FIFA 12 is exclusive, Dead Space was, as was Hot Pursuit, and others.
We are playing what other people play, but better, we can also play emulators, but better. If you don't like it, do us all a favor already and sell your phone and leave us alone.

Why do people nerd rage so much over exclusives anyway? Is it supposed to be some sort of my epeen is bigger than your statement to have an exclusive?

Modern Combat 3 - surprised I'm playing this since I already beat it on iPad 2.

At the moment, Experiment 13, FIFA 12, and Fight Game Heroes are Xplay exclusives.

It should be easier to play with sensitivity adjusted...just like all other Xplay optimized games that use the touchpads.

Assuming that you have it installed on the SD card, perhaps if you move it to your phone's storage it may act right.

Exactly lol. It's all about bragging rights.
I've been playing Experiment 13, Tecmo Super Bowl (old school NES version with 2011-12 rosters), Super KO Boxing 2, and the fresh Experiment 13.
I'd recommend that anyone play Experiment 13. It has a catchy tune, decent graphics, it's fun, and most importantly it's a free Xplay exclusive.

Been playing Pro Evolution Soccer PES2011 and now PES2012 . Game play over all is better then the FIFA games.
Also Star Ocean Second Story on FPse.

What are some good games and apps to put on transformer for long trips?

Apps and games for on a flight or road trip, that have good replay/reusability.
I'd like to see what keeps transformer users entertained for long periods of downtime with no possible internet.
So far I've got sentinel3, some roms and emulators, and a few books..

I'm not sure about long trips but I enjoy short bursts of:
- Flight Control
- Jelly Defense (though I'm stuck a few levels in and can't get past the one I'm on)
- Bunny Shooter
- Plasma Lamp
- and of course the Angry Birds trilogy

Super Stick Man Golf is pretty fun.

Galaxy on Fire 2 also is free and supports the Tegra GPU,

Plants vs Zombies pretty much killed 2 flights across Canada for me, still haven't beat all the mini-games yet.

If I were you I'd put some movies on it! Last long road trip I used my TF to watch movies and time passed pretty quickly.
Oh and GTA III will probably last you ages too!

my favorite tower defense is sentinel 3. ive played.... probably all of them. guns n glory is ok, much more micro management, unique twist on the game type.
we just got two new games from iOS though too, Osmos and Anomaly Warzone (tower offense) which are amazing, titles I bought for PC on steam. world of goo is in the same category, and an awesome game. those 3 are probably the best games out there right now. the attempts at shooters are lame imo.
I've been digging audio books on mine, tTorrent is an actual torrent client to download them right onto your tablet.
galaxy on fire 2 is pretty fun too, and has a story line
Refraction is one of the best puzzle games ever (till we get SpaceChem) and not too hard, think its free
moon chaser is fun for a one touch control game
