tbh prerooted gb - Droid Pro General

Can someone please post the link for prerooted tbh Gabe 2.3 update

Buy the app for $2.99, and then you'll be able to download it directly. This isn't a forum where posting paid downloads for free without the permission of those who put them out there is looked upon kindly. Especially people who put out appreciated files like TBH.

tbh
thanks for the reply. I finally found the website to beable to buy the app.

(Link Posted) Latest GB update, Will someone please help us in here

There are quite a few of us who would appreciate if anyone has a downloadable file for the new update, to please post it up here since neither VZW or Motorola have it available. Some folks, including myself, have had issues downloading/installing OTA and would GREATLY appreciate if someone has the file for download, to please post it up here so we can enjoy the new update. Thank you sincerely if anyone will post this.
Link posted a couple posts down
BIG THANKS to:
Dutchbastard for the link and
Jackpotcalvin for the upload
me too, please upload it
My update came available almost a week ago, first time ever that I was one of the first to have it. And trust me when I say this, before updating, I have searched the whole device with root explorer to find the file but it was no where to be seen, not in /cache, not in tmp or downloads or any other folder for that matter. Even searched for files bigger than 90MB and smaller than 110MB but still no luck ... So, either Moto came up with some mastermind genius trick to hide it from or I dont know ..

You're welcome. But credit goes to jackpotclavin, the same guy who was kind enough to work very hard on a nice smooth cyanogenmod port for our pro's.

CM7/MIUI Modems in RomManager

[Edit]
All Modems and packages are provided by siky_dude.
[/Edit]
I Have uploaded a LARGE amount (over 50) i9000 CWM Flashable Modems for CM7/MIUI onto my server and am serving via RomManager.
They can all be accessed via RomManager Free and Premium.
The aim is to make it easy to test Modems and hopefully people can report with modems work well in their area and I can add it to description to help others.
At the moment I have over 50, and would like help in getting useful descriptions.
If anyone can help with which ones are 850hz enabled, which ones are for i9000M, i9000B etc, and anything else that should be listed please DO!
By hosting the files on my own server they don't go to Premium only for the weekend. But I have them hosted for 2 days and already 2Gb of traffic. So anyone with mirrors would also be a great help
I am adding Captive/Vibrant/etc as i can.
These Threads helped me with modems and should be given FULL credit. I am only hosting them for easy usage, these guys made them!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1158783
So 2000 downloads and not one person can help me improve?
Looks like i did ok
not really. i did download your modem for ZSJV6 but it resulting BUJV6 is what i get after install.
Thanks, put a note for others.
Thank you for your offer, saw it some days ago in RomManager.
But I couldn't test it, because of this damn bug that RomManager won't boot into recovery mode (it reboots phone directly back to CM7).
Because of that I have to boot manually into recovery and flash modems by my self... so thats not your fault.
But keep up the work... If RM will work correct for me in future I would be glad to see your work going on
@bohdans, 1st of all (and off-topic): big thanks for hosting such files (and making them avaliable via RomManager)! I used it a lot to see which modem suits me the best! So keep up the good work
Unfortunately (and on-topic) I can't help you there, buddy I'm just a simple user and no dev
Over 6000 downloads, surely someone must have some feedback?
Nice of you for asking me for permission .
There is no problem with this, but still, many guys from other forums asked first, i of course accepted.

Also had a plan to make an separate app for cm/samsung modems .

I would have helped you, but unfortunately im not testing other modems since the stock one works flawlessly here in Norway.
Over 27,000 downloads!
My hosting is up for renewal in August, so please let me know if these should stay, otherwise I will move them to RomManagers hosting and they will only be available for non-premium users on weekdays.

One click rooting method in less than 2 minutes

Root your phone without unlocking the bootloader. How? A new application called UnlockRoot does it all for you! Literally, all you need to do is download the UnlockRoot.exe, run it and enjoy your new rooted device. I can confirm that it is 100% working and took about 2 minutes from start to finish.
All you have to do is connect to your computer, enable USB debugging which is accessible through Settings>applications>devlopment>USB debugging
open UnlockRoot.exe and click root, after that it should take the comp. 1 min tounlock then 1 min to reboot then voila you have it rooted! You will then see the superuser app inside your app drawer. I recommend you to download busybox and titanium backup to have full control on your device. I've just rooted my xperia play and my wife's arc s using method. Both of them are running v2.3.4 so this should work on lower versions.
If there will be an instance wherein your device didn't reboot automatically, manually restart your device.

Have fun
Is this in any way better than supetoneclick, zergrush?

I checked out the site and it doesnt say compatible with Xperia PLAY or any SE phones for that matter. Plus I am already rooted and unlocked bootloader. The site looks a little questionable like maybe the software could be virus filled. I dont know though. Only way to find out would be to try it, and for that I have no reason to. IT show support for the Kindle Fire. Anyone try it?

Even if it does work, this sort of thing shouldn't be allowed. Just trying to promote your own site.

Edit: he only posted twice... Still though, at the very least, I call shill.
I may have been overly judgemental in this case.

It's put out by AnTuTu, the same people who do CPU Master. They have a link in the newest version of their app.
Probably uses exact same exploits as superoneclick

First of all that is not my site and i'm not a spammer. I only posted this method in two different forums, the other one is in the android general hacking tips. The only reason why i mentioned the site is because i'm having problems uploading the unlockroot.exe launcher in this thread. As you can see,i'm only a new member and i don't usually start threads. I'm just trying to help because i had a lot of frustrations using other rooting methods. I have a descent job and i'm not gonna benefit in spamming so don't accuse me. I just felt very excited to share this method as this worked like a charm for my xperia play. I'm not forcing you to try this so ban me if you feel like doing so.

I noticed that too but trust me,it worked for my xperia play and my wife's arc s. Both of them are running the latest android v2.3.4 that's why i'm very surprised that it worked. Other rooting methods didn't work for that version so i resorted to doomlord's method but i'm having problems installing the adb drivers as i'm using windows7. I'm so happy using this method because it's very safe,no need to unlock your bootloader. Best regards!

I already uploaded the direct link to the file so you can shut your mouth now. I've been itching to do that right from the start but this site won't allow me because i need to have at least 8 posts before i can attach external link. You're a senior member so you should've known that, think first before accussing me a spammer.

I'm curious, why not post directly to their site, instead of a link to a file host?
No, offense, but if you post directly to their home site, it makes it seem a lot more legit than just posting a link to your download account.

Sorry bro but i already did that when i started this thread. I just edited my post because that d31boy guy is accussing me of being a spammer and just promoting that site.
When I see a brand new poster posting a link to relatively unknown website for use of an unknown exe file, it's hard not to be suspicious. I mean, you obviously know the benefits of root and you know your way around this site. The site has absolutely no mention of how the root is applied (which isn't your fault provided you don't have an affiliation to the site ). It's a pretty big leap of faith.
However, I may have jumped in a bit too quick on this one. It would have been better just to report the post and allow a mod to make a more informed decision. For that, I apologise.
All this method is, is the zergRush method with a different name...
Here's what I did (quick run thought of what i did, attached screenshot for reference)
Downloaded it from the OP's post (http://unlockroot.com was running at 2000BYTES/SEC)
Installed it on my XP partition
rebooted, went to my linux partition
Mounted XP Partition
went to \Program Files\Unlockroot\tools\
Copied rootutility to /home/myusername/
adb shell rm -r /data/local/tmp
adb shell mkdir /data/local/tmp
adb push rootutility /data/local/tmp
adb shell chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/rootutility
adb shell /data/local/rootutility
and got the attachment

Hey guys had this idea to help upload to different sharing site like mediafire or devhost where downloads dont require proprietary subscription to premium accounts. To help all those who cant get download from hot file(eg.China),those who cant get OTAs and all those who dont want to flash a rom everytime.Contributions of the community are helpful.Feel free to paste the links of ur backups to this thread and I'll inturn update the OP.Zip ur nandroid and split with jsplit(free app google it) and u can even upload to dropbox or any other non premium account site(idea inspired by Samir_a).To post u must follow the order of:Country, carrier, build number, version& any other. If u havent all the info post at least country and android version.
Stock Rom:German ics here
Custom rom:
Thanks for everyone's contribution.:good:
Already a post related to this and pinned and another one in android developement section i think. If you wan to contribute please do so in either of the two post so it easy for everyone to find
The idea is for nandroids only and for escaping the hot file limitations.
