Then I would suggest u Push systemUI.apk(extracted from zip file) via fastboot commander or
just delete using Rootexplorer then reboot and then paste the new apk and apply permissions..

Anybody knows how i get TrackPad2Wake work with Teppic74's Pre-rooted Stock Gingerbread? Flashed it but it only works when i press the Trackpad immediately after the screen goes black, otherwise its not working.

Install Alex's GingerBread Official.. thats also Stock pre-rooted GB, runs very smooth and very stable and trackpad2wake works very well on it..
EDIT: not only Tracpad2awake but all of above mods work on it...

I use this version of trackpab wakeup http://www.android-hilfe.de/1792263-post100.html
With this GB ROM Thyrion-V2 3.14.405.1 find here http://www.android-hilfe.de/custom-...d-3-14-405-1-stockrom-root-a2sd-la-cargo.html
and it works

unfortunately the quick settings only mod will not work with Neophyte's stock GB Sense ROM. how can we achieve these mods ourselves??

Findings on Teppic74 gingerbread stock Rom:
* Trackball to wake: works if also adding snq v6 kernel. I removed the htclockscreen.apk from it, as it was unnecessary.
* Quicksettings_only: works if you modify install script first, to delete the odex file for the replaced systemui.apk. (this applies to all odexed Rom, like neo)
Can do some uploads tonight.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App

Okay so if i delete the SystemUI.odex file, it'll solve the mod not working? Trying that now
EDIT: Well blow me down! it worked!

Here is a 4in1PowerMenue made by me is my first flashable zip.
Pls disable signature/verifikation than flash it via recovery.
This version is testet and runs on HTC Desire GB 3.14.405.1

trackball 2 wake (mod)
I was looking at the trackball 2 wake implementation
1) original for HTC Desire GB by bananacakes
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16245720#post16245720
2) bananacakes package was split in 2 by Alex-V because it contained 2 features: trackball2wake + drag&drop rosie
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16248756#post16248756
3) I found that (at least for teppic74 GB ROM), you don't need the HTCLockScreen.apk that is also in the Alex-V package. In fact, in the original thread, there is no clear explanation why this apk was added in the first place. So if you like clean addons, use this one ;-).
=> attached: same zip as Alex-V's but HTCLockScreen.apk removed.
PS: don't forget, if you're on a stock rom with stock kernel, it won't work. You also need snq- kernel. (e.g. you can install the "v5 to v6 update flashable zip")

[Statusbar] HTC Black Statusbar With Battery Percentage Icon For OpenDesire

Original Thread:
http://android.adamg.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=227
What is it?
Modified status bar that replaces the 'stock' white Android bar with the smarter and sharper looking black bar from HTC Sense ROMs and includes the brilliant battery percentage icon from Fightspit.
Updates:
030910 - Updated for 4.0.2
310810 - Updated for 4.0 and included cmparts_ui.xml for import.
260810 - Updated framework to be used on OpenDesire 3.6 ROMs.
230810 - Updated framework to be used on OpenDesire 3.5.x ROMs
200810 - Updated framework to be used on OpenDesire 3.4.x ROMs
How to use on OpenDesire:
After installation of the statusbar via your preferred recovery menu. Browse to your phones settings and scroll down to OpenDesire Settings, now click User Interface and modify the Status bar, Date and Provider and Notifications ticker colors to what ever you choose. Be sure to click the circle in the centre of the color picker to enable. Once colors have been set, simply reboot the phone.

Unsure, try it and report back please. If Richard is using the same CM framework source as AdamG then yea it should work.
Please try this link - http://dnlgee.co.uk/percentage/BlackBar.PRCN.OD31.150810.zip

FYI everyone, if you had the % previously displayed on the battery turn this off or you will get a blurred effect cos it will show on top of the other.

Does it work on CM6 RC3?
EDIT: sorry...I missed the forum section!
Installed but bar still looks the same (white).
Heres what I did:
Downloaded zip file (mega upload)
Renamed to update.zip
copied to Sd card.
Using Clockwork applied update.zip
rebooted.
Did I miss something or do somethign wrong?
Using open desire 3.1.2
Nice work dnlgee!
Only the mega upload link worked for me, Clockwork reported the first downloaded file as "Can't open file (bad)".
May I suggest you change the android menu with something as nice as this (bottom right shot)?

[ROM] AOSP-Flavored Nonsense v2 - [3/27]

Here is a ROM I cooked up for personal use until further AOSP progress has been made. It's very similar to the "SuperClean" ROMs I used to distribute for the Fascinate.
Nearly all Sense elements have been removed (Rosie, ALL widgets are gone, etc), leaving only the Phone/Contacts/Cam/FlashLight Sense applications. They have been replaced with AOSP versions, some borrowed from CM, some straight AOSP builds with a few of my own slight modifications. All apks/jars have been deodexed and zipaligned for anyone wanting to theme them. I have not touched any framework images, have only changed out a few images for some of the AOSP apps so that they mesh better with the Sense theme. All Google apps have been updated to the latest versions.
* AOSP apps *
Calculator
Calendar
DeskClock
Gallery3D - CodeAuroraForum
Launcher2 - GB version, modified to allow app uninstall from long-hold over trash can
Mms - CM
Music - CM
* Additional apps *
Car Home - Google
FileManager - CM
FlashPlayer 10.2
GenieWidget - Google
GoogleVoice
* Other stuffs *
includes Adrynalyne's modified boot.img allowing perma-root on adb
AOSP LockScreen
busybox
working su/Superuser
rw/ro scripts (simply type rw to make /system writable, ro to set back to read-only)
Thunder startup sound removed
*** V2 - 3/27 ***
fixed sync-related FC issues - thanks 760hacker!
fixed Calendar (removed the big Android wtf?)
added bash / terminfo
remove HTC SetupWizard and replaced with Google version, allowing removal of Backup Assistant
added Market versions of Twitter / Facebook
removed broken Dock Settings option from DeskClock
removed lots more unneeded files
*** You MUST wipe data when flashing this ROM!! Please don't post of any issues if you do not do so!! ***
*** You will NOT go into the SetupWizard automatically any more. Open Gmail or the Market to launch the SetupWizard ***
Since so many apps have been changed/removed, it would be a good idea to wipe data before flashing. MAKE A BACKUP! YOU ASSUME ALL LIABILITY FOR YOUR DEVICE!
I have not yet encoutered any bugs, but things have not been robustly tested. Please let me know if you find any. Enjoy

Mike was wrong, like JT said this is like his supercleans from the Fascinate, looks removes sense elements, like the launcher it uses. I just flashed this and it looks like the 2.2 launcher. I will try to post screen shot of home page soon.
EDIT: Here is a picture of my home screen, new launcher, sense launcher is gone.

Runs smooth...couple of things.
Is it possible to change the pull down notification bar, removing the quick settings tab and replacing it with toggles for a more aosp feel.
Also, the menu button bypasses the lock screen, I know this is a common bug.
Just suggestions, I love it so far.

I don't know if you knew this but if you want to make changes on you phone via zip files and don't feel like making all the changes again to your Rom on ur computer, do a nadroid backup via CWR then plug in your phone to computer pull the backup out of clockwork backups zip all the files and add that to update folder in kitchen and you can pull out the Rom and any changes you made are intact wether it be kernel or script tweaks just an easy way to release a new version. Then again you could just use root explorer and pull out files you changed and add those to your old working folder and build that, I always keep my last working and just keep adding till I feel it can be a new version. Will release my new one next week or so.

Thanks for the advice! Yeah repacking the kernel took me a couple of tries to get right, but its fairly simple when you know how.

Update should be ready tonight. Doing a bit of themeing, adding overscroll glow, removing GPS icon in status bar, adding HTC wallpapers, adding clock app back to launcher, changed boot animation, maybe a few more things.
Just so everyone knows, I have removed HTCLoggers.apk from this ROM. I am also tweaking the theme. Will post the theme to flash, and will add it to the next release.
Updated to KillaSense 2.5
Changelog and downloads in OP
Ugh... Still some minor bugs in the theme. Can't see some popup window text. I'll give UOT another the or I'll have to go through some xml files tonight...
Coming along nicely man good work!

Thanks bro. Took a look at your Rom earlier today and I can say the same for you. After I take care of my theme issue I think ill flash your Rom and give it a try .
Im just going to change the background of popup menus rather than go through all those dakned xml files again.

didnt see it but what version radio does this need?
Anything used for gingerbread then pick the one that works best for your phone.

So I kinda got caught up learning how to edit xmls and whatnot and forgot that this was supposed to be a stock sense 2.1 Rom. I'm in the process of removing the theme, and ill just make the theme a flashable theme instead. Should be ready by tomorrow.
