Is there a custom ROM or even a simple app possible that can capture 720P video at LEAST 25fps for the Evo? I have yet to be able to capture anything better than 22fps. It's unacceptable. Also the audio quality is TERRIBLE. 8Khz? Seriously HTC?

HTC Phones are good but the camera is very poor. If it was recording at 25fps it would still suck... Droid X does 720p recording very well like a mini camcorder. I have HTC Desire..
I managed to get around 30fps..
Audio still poor though
But here's how you do, go to Camera(not video, photo!), change ISO -> 800 (not Auto), then -> Video recording, and it should be more stabile and higher fps.

Using the video recording in 720p I have found that the fps of these videos is 24 fps.
Anyone else have a higher fps when recording in 720p and if we can record at higher fps in 720p recording mode?

question, why would you want to unless your looking for slow motion video playback?
in answer to your question, no you cant, the camera driver is the limiting factor, same reason we cant take wide screen photos
Is it possible to get 120fps video from u8800's camera? Even with lower resolution? 'cause it would be cool to have smooth slo-mo camera.
I only saw this function in a mid-costed digital camera. There is a big doubt that it's possible on u8800s camera. I guess, the deal is in camera driver or in hardware limitations. In any case, it's fatal for your request.
So, S5 with samsung rom has ability to record videos at 1080p @ 60fps. I have installed cyanogen mod 12.1, and as i know, there is no way to install samsung camera app to standard android. Is there any app on store or somewhere else that can record videos at 1080p @ 60fps ? I tried a few video recording apps, but no [email protected] so far.
