The latest version now natively supports the SGS2. For those using a hacked side-loaded version you have to uninstall and re-download; it won't update via the Market. They also updated the UI.
Are the features from the hacked version missing?

What extra options did the Patched version have which the official doesn't?

Would it be possible to extract Flash Player 10.1 from Froyo? It doesn't show on Market for lower versions
I'd appreciate it
That's because it won't run on lower versions.
Ever think they do these things for a reason? (Resitrict OS version for certain apps)

Flash player 10.1 doesnt work without andorid 2.2 and hes speed.
Flash is using some new libraries from froyo, if you are on 2.2 then just get the beta from adobe.com, until it comes to RTM.
as the other 2 said, it doesn't show because it wouldn't work. Plus why would you need to extract it when the apk is a download?
It also kind of sucks.

You can't say that. Neither FroYo nor Flash 10.1 has been released yet to the general public.
Ok then what sort of flash player/plug-in inbuilt in the Desire's original Browser since it plays flash media!?
Flash Lite.

Which really sucks.
The few minutes I had with FroYo on my Desire were brilliant on Flash websites. No slowdown whatsoever.

Why am I running Flash 10.1 on my Froyo Nexus One then? Granted it's pre-release, but it's still Flash at its heart, and it's not intended for small screens.

You're running it because someone managed to extract the link out of an OTA update destined for journalists. That's hardly what could be called a general release.

Thanx mate
it wont work on android 2.1 so no point even downloading that apk.
if your on 2.2 then u can just visit the adobe site and download the beta.
Is the hardware accelerated flash app in 2.2 intregrated into the whole system or just in the Stock-browser and the Youtube app ?
i have backed up the flash 10.1 it is not apk file it is a .bin
you cant install it to nexus one 2.1
It's already been said all over the net and by the creators that it will not work below 2.2. I admire your determination in trying but anything below 2.2 simply doesn't have the performance to do it.

No it doesn't. At least in mine but I found it somewhere else ==>
Settings/Applications/Manage applications.
Maybe the very first version shows the version number from inside the market but I have updated to newer version before as well. Anyway, it doesn't matter now since there is a way.
Must be new. Mine is 2.2.7
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
Mine is still 2.2.7.

Just checked version and mine has updated to 2.2.11.
No visual difference tho!
Has the market changed in appearance again? I just went to the android market and the layout has changed.
What version do you have?
Check with the app manager, or titanium...
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Mine's the same, what version number is it?
Under the ap manager it says version 2.2.11. Before I manually updated to android version 2.2.2, manually I had the market with the "rounded" header.
maybe a screenshot of your new layout would be more explicite?
Something must have messed up after the update, I tried to download an app for taking a screen shot, the market crashed and when I restarted the market it was back to the "rounded" header.

Don't know how many people use the auto-update feature for your apps but I find it easier than constantly checking.
Titanium added the feature "auto updates manager" that allows you to pick all in a few clicks, a feature that imo should have been added to the market itself.
Cheers!
Cool feature, however I get, "Sorry, Your market doesn't support auto-updates." Using MikGv1.01

Not familiar with that ROM but it's possible the market version is one before the adding of the auto-update feature?

Is there a newer version of the market?
If so that could resolve the issue...unless it has to do with how the dev signs his apks?
You don't need to d/l busybox anymore either....
Not working on OMJ's newest rom.
i flashed the latest beta4 Cm7 and i dont not see google video chat at all does anyone else see it? or how do i get it to work
I'm not sure if that app works with the video camera or not but the video camera currently isn't working

Well the google video chat app should be there anyways because i believe it came with 2.3.4 and up and were on 2.3.5 now
I don't use CM much but I'm pretty sure they don't include ANY Google apps at all. The camera barely works for still photos in the latest release. No camcorder or video cam as far as I've heard. It's still pre-beta.
See my post in this section it has the Google apps link in it

i installed the google apps this is why im confused why i dont have video talk but can anyone confirm they have video talk on cm7?
To confirm, i do not have the video chat option in google chat as 2.3.4 stock had that feature.
If you flash the newest gapps package using ROM Manager, you will be offered video chat. Just tick it and let it flash.

I installed the latest Google Apps as well and still don't have the option either. I'm also running CM7 PreBeta 4! Hope we can figure this out.

I can confirm that installing the gapps from 8/28 (2.3.5 version) via ROM Manager resolved the issue for me. Also, Video chat is working although the video camera supposedly is not.
I had to attempt a couple times due to FC, but then it worked well.
have you guys installed the "unofficial" google apps installer, or are you using the one from the atria-dev-teams page?

I just installed via the ROM Manager that was downloaded from the market. You have to install it from the market, then flash CWM from the ROM Manager, reboot and it gives you a number of choices on what you can install. The choices are listed under the Download ROMs section.
Andrew149, Do exactly what shaunole has said in his post.
It now works after downloading August 28 gapps.
Thanks
Tried to install the latest Gapps in Rom Manager and It's erroring out once in recovery. Any idea how I can download it and flash manually?
