Headphones not working after root

I rooted my X10a a while ago (I used the 6/7/10 insturctions and everything seems to working fine...except the headphones
As far as I can tell, protected apps show up on the market (e.g. tapatalk pro), Barnacle and Titanium Backup work fine (looks like the phone is rooted properly) and the phone displays the following:
Model Number: X10a
Firmware Version: 1.6
Baseband Version: 1.1.27
Kernel Version: 2.6.29-rel
Build Number: R2BA023
I'm on "3 Australia" and 3G, WiFi and MMS seem to be working properly. Any ideas? Would installing Jerpelea's R2BA024 update help?
apparently i have the same problem too. it is only after i root my phone this problem exists.

[Q] Baseband Version Unknown - US Streak - stuck and requesting help!

Hi Everyone,
Dell Streak - US - started with 1.6 and I've honestly lost track of what all I tried.
Here's where I am at now:
Firmware version: 1.6
Baseband version: Unknown
Kernel version: 2.6.29-perf
OEM version: GAUSB1A111231
Build Number: 6601
Buttons to the right are flashing periodically.
At this point I really would like to at least get the phone working again. When I plug the usb cable in when the phone is booted up the PC does not see it. I can get WIFI to work, but no cell signal.
Any suggestions on what I should try next? I was trying to go to 2.2 via the O2 1.6 build. That worked, but then went I tried to go 02 1.6 to US 2.2 it failed. I found a restore package and got 6601 back, but with no cell service.
I appreciate the help in advance.
Check out this link. I was in the same boat as you yesterday and fixed it this way.

[Q] [newbie] Getting there!? (from 2.0.A.0.504)

greeting mates
Just bought my x10 yesterday, left it charging for the night. And when I tried to install z4root this morning, I found out there's no Android Market, no app installer, WTH! I thought they may be "hiding" somewhere! My friend kept swearing Market had to be there, and I had to take photos on the app screens to shut him up! Anyway, I get the install done through Android SDK!
My current phone soft-spec:
fw:2.1-update1
baseband ver: 2.0.46
kernel ver: 2.6.29
build#: 2.0.A.0.504
I'm wondering which rom I should update 1st. First I saw K10, which requires 2.0.2.A.0.24, so I looked at the generic rooted 2.0.2.A.0.24, and then I found the dual-touch stock 2.0.2.A.0.24. Would be great if I can find a generic rooted 2.0.2.A.0.24 with dual-touch! A bit overwhelmed atm, any suggestions/directions would be nice! Should I worry about the baseband?
install Dual-Touch 2.0.2.A.0.24
If I flash the 2.0.2.A.0.24_for_X10-flasher SIN files, can I then use xrecovery to install those 2.0.2.A.0.24 customized roms straight from 2.0.A.0.504?
edit: I ran the SAM4.0 and did a software update, now I'm @ 2.0.2.A.0.24, guess I would have to use the good old root method!

Yes, that's the procedure.

[Q] 3G baseband issues

Hi,
Having a bit of trouble with the baseband on my rooted x8, had to update the baseband to accommodate hackdroids froyobread v0.30. I flashed the baseband in flash tool, I have a 'a' version of the x8, so I used the X8a - E15a Baseband 015 - kernel 2.1.1.A.0.6 from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=976538
The issue is, my phone boots, wifi works and so does edge, however, I can't seem to get 3G. Im aware that 3g loss can occur if u flash an 'i' baseband to an 'a' phone (or visa versa), however to my knowledge I have flashed the right version. I live in Australia and am on the Vodafone AU network, any suggestions to fix this issue?
Thanks for the help
Are u using the one that on same post from lmppy stated on post 2?
Thanks for the quick reply,
No, im using Baseband 015 - kernel 2.1.1.A.0.6 from the first post, I downloaded the file that imppy put up however its 117mb, which leads me to believe that it's a ROM, rather than just a baseband, should I install it anyway?
