Hey all,
I've got a DX (2.3, stock) that is having some problems with Exchange email. Some emails are getting sent repeatedly to the recipient. The email is stuck in the outbox and can't be deleted. Rebooting/battery pull helped once, but the problem came back. The recipient gets the email periodically... One thing I've noticed is that it happens with forwarded emails, particularly "secured" emails (bank emails).
Has anyone had the same problem? Any solutions?
Try clearing data for the email app.

Anyone having send/recieve issues with the gmail app?
I just tried sending a bunch of photos to a seperate account and recieved the message twice, but sending through the android email app over IMAP seems to send normally.
Can't for the life of me see what the problem is.
Hi, I just got my Magic a couple of days ago and I have noticed issues with google mail.
A couple of times now I have checked the mail through the google mail icon on my phone and it has shown Inbox (1) but just doesn't download the message to my phone.
I have tried sync'ing it but it just takes forever to come down. No issues with signal at the time so not really sure what is wrong. One time the email did turn up after I manually sync'ed about 5 times and the other time I logged onto my google mail via the browser rather then the app and read the email, (that email never did arrive on my phone!?)
Hopefully some kind email genius will come along and help us both ;0)
Well I've noticed after setting the email account up through the android app that gmail seems to sync properly now and notify about new mails, though I haven't gotten around to testing if the send is working properly or not on the gmail app.
Incidentally I also switched down to 2G to save battery, but I don't think that'd have an impact...
I replied to a couple of emails yesterday from my phone [pop3 gmail account] and later in the evening I logged into the gmail account to find each had been sent twice.
today I did alot of replies to emails [different account - this one gmail imap] and by the afternoon I saw that each mail/reply was getting sent 3 times to each recipient [including back to myself].
Any idea how to find out why it is doing this and to fix it please?
I recently had a problem where if i replied to an email it got sent to me, so i deleted my email setup and re-enterd my details been fine since then,
Thanks. It would be nice to be able to fix it without deleting stuff - will see otherwise will try this.
Problem is that it seems to affect mutliple accounts so might have to delete all of them
More help appreciated:
I deleted ALL the email accounts and re-added them
I also checked to delete my own email address when I do a "reply all"
Today I did a "reply" to an email and just logged into my gmail account on the 'puter to see that it has been sent twice again!!
Problem applies to IMAP And pop3 accounts
Hi
I just noticed last night/early this morning that I am not able to send emails from my gmail account :-( I get new message notifications and I can open the gmail app and read my mail but when I try to send a message it just says sending and it never gets sent.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
I am running Aloysius 2.1.2. I did preform a nanand restore prior to this sending problem.
Seems all of a sudden, any email I get to gmail has a small issue:
I get the email alert on the app. Get the email and read. Archive some of them.
Go online to email and all the emails are sitting in the inbox as unread? It never used to do this. Any ideas what is going on?
Hi guys, I have a strange problem with the standard email app on the s6e+.
I have my .live.co.uk (hotmail) account on my phone, it auto discovers the account info, and all works ok, sends and receives fine, except when I delete an email, it will then reappear as a new email 5 mins later. So if I delete 5 emails, after a short amount of time, I will have the same 5 new emails again that I have already deleted!
I've had a bit of a search on here and can't see anything that relates to my issue.
I've deleted the account and cleared the info from the email app so I've definitely cleared everything and started again.
I cba defaulting the whole phone when I might not work anyway
I have another email account from my domain and that works 100%, so must be Hotmail, but I've never seen any of my android phones do this!
Has anyone come across this before??
Cheers
Dave
