Im actually running CM7 too, forgot to mention
My free ram over 250MB too, maybe you should try another ROM, you can try Virtuors g-lite 1.0.2-1.0.3. This is the lightest rom, i think. But i'm using MIUI osimood 1.7.15 v1.2 ^^

Yea,tried on the Nexus Launcher with Fresh 2.0d and no go,shame, cause thats one of my favorites
i like the matrix type screen. it is the same as the bootscreen from regawmod rom. i prefer it because it is more clear than the ones in the market

You can get the nexus livewallpaper if you use DarchDroid and the lwp kernel, you just loose opengl
I havent been able to get the Nexus lwp to work right on any roms. The matrix, the dechohedron(sp?), and the time shift one all work real well if the rom supports lwp.
I tried it out but it was a bit bare for my liking. Guess its in betaBeta stage now. So im sticking with MiKfroyo for now. I am a great fan of cyanogen i'll wait.
It is in alpha stage so you cant expect too much
I tried it today for a couple of hours. Browsing seemed to be slightly faster (maybe it was my imagination). Everything else seemed to be the same as CM 6.1.1 as far as I could tell, but I didn't play with it for that long. Couldn't get SWYPE to work on it.
I flashed back to Fresh ROM, but will probably go CM permanently if they can get the cameras to work properly and support 4G.....hopefully with the final release of CM 7.....?
I tried out baby wipes once instead of toilet paper.

Running lithid 12/24/10 13:07 build. Love the speed, really really want CMParts and all the other tweaks, like the notification power widgets.
One bug I've noticed since I set my DPI to 162 is that whenever I select something in a list on the screen, I see a blue bar in the middle:

I loved when I had the my touch 3g and almost every day there was some new rom to try on......I also will love to see a my touch 4g rom on my g2

We already have a MT4G ROM ported over by Evil. Check it out in the development section.
I think its a testament to how good and how close to stock Android the G2 is! Doesnt need very many roms for it...but i get your point, lol!
Thanks Vandam500....i did not know that...but you could give me the link the only thing I found was this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=835687

What more roms would you need? You have plain Vanilla Android (CM), Sense Based (Virtuous)...myTouch roms are a bit like Sense based with a sprinkle of TMo's customizing.
Then you also have the iPhone-ish type from MIUI which is completely different beast in it's own. In my experience with CM and Virtuous both make the G2 run nice and smooth without glitches. I personally would rather have a few roms that run great vs a ton that run like crap
EDIT...oh and forgot about Gingerbread...that's GingerVillian and I think there's a CM version somewhere...but that's with a OS that's not officially out yet
Well i was poking around other fourms an i ended up in optimus v an i looked at one of the roms an i seen that it hd 421 ram for user an my rom only got 339 an i use browser alot an low ram makes it laggy af so im wondering how we dont have that much?

There you go.
It perches majestically upon the arid rock it calls home, gently tilting its' large boney head into the wind to better search for predators. Little known in the scientific community, the ram, or "Ovis Aries" has a penchant for fine wines and delicate fruit platters.

Look for running services and find what are the unwanted services are there.
BTW, does it matter? I mean apart from the uncomfortable feeling u get from seeing this much ram being used, do u have any issue in term of performance or battery?
