[Req] Bin with baseband a1-04.01.01 - will donate

Need this bin with baseband 04.01.01 to make my gps work
nothing is available and I am willing to donate to make this happen
pm if u do not want release to be public and I will abide your wishes
Let Google be your friend-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=680014
This was the bin right before 1.100.05 (1.100 is considered an official bin while this is considered more of a unofficial/beta bin)
But it does use the Baseband you mentioned.
Just realized the link on that site does not work-
http://android.modaco.com/content/a...o-com/308370/acer-liquide-0-016-01-emea-gen1/
There are a couple of mirrors in this thread that do work.
Best of luck. Btw, don't worry about the donation. I didn't do much.
1.100.0X or 1.100.XX are official leaked OEM bins.

I wouldn't advice flashing this bin as its one the 2.1 betas, lots of bugs and broken gles, including low system performance, like i said before, flash any 1.100.0X or 1.100.XX bins.
Sincerly
rafyvitto
That was the same one I posted. It was released a couple of weeks before 1.000.05EMEA and was fairly stable (couple of bugs but don't remember anything major). He already tried it and it was not able to fix his problem.
Any updates? Did you get a new phone and flash a new bin?
I have new acer liquid e..
baseband version is A1-04.02.01
and build number is Acer_LiquidE_1.100.09_AAP_GEN2
Oh well.
I guess I'll just archive that bin and flash on top of it.

Upgrade away man, just be sure to take a TWRP backup and move it to your PC for safe keeping. Just in case things go wrong :good:
I flashed the factory image for Oreo today, and will be checking it out for a few days (I opted out of the preview)
I have been bouncing back and forth between 3 different builds, AOKP, Desolation and Screwd (all great ROMs), but there's plenty of others to choose from...

What is wrong with stock 8.0, TWRP, custom kernel (eg. EX) and maybe root if you need certain appz? Can't go wrong this way. Back your stuff up, full wipe, and let her rip. We're talking what, an hour or two tops?

That's exactly what I was getting at. Just wanted to make sure the ROM flashing game hadn't changed. :good:

Download link - March patched boot

Hello guys,
Sorry for creating new thread but I couldn't find a link in any of the other threads.
I request a link to download March patched boot in order to install magisk (for some reason my magisk isn't working anymore and root was removed from device). I am using March update ofc.
Thank you!
Like you I was searching it, then I found it very easy to make it by magisk manager app and made it myself, you can do it as well, BTW here is the download link
https://ufile.io/0qsn5/
First of all, thank you for the download link.
It worked!
May i ask if you are still running March update? or upgraded to May update?
I am still using march update, its working great, not faced any issues yet and I will definitely update it when oreo 8.1 arrive

Where can i find the Stock Android 8 Rom for my TB-8504F?

All i can find is websites filled with ads and/or dead links. And the ones that do work are the android 7 roms with broken wifi and weird custom boot animations. One even had ES file explorer installed as a system app very shady.
Anyone know where i can find android 8 stock from for my tb-8504f? thank you
Hey, are you still in need of this? I have dumps of all the partitions from the latest update (Android security patch level 2019-03-05, build number TB-8504F_S001014_190420_ROW), can upload them if you need them.

Eonon R03 10.1" android 11 2GB ram quadcore a55 possible root via magdisk? (RK3566) + Latest update from eonon

Hi guys i was wondering if anyone has messed around with eonons new headunits the R03 (RK3566)
i just bought it and really coming to the conclusion it needs a better audio eq the original dsp really does not cut it for a 2000w skar audio setup/ any audio setup really.
i have emailed eonon support asking for a update to fix there wifi issues when i first got the headunit 3 months ago.. here is there factory version of there rom hoping someone can help me add viper4 android and root. and mainly recording some info on this machine due to absolutely no dev support because it is so new. hoping to start that trail of support.
all and all radio works ok now (FAST ) wireless android auto somewhat ok DSP but the audio settings are seriously limited i paid just over 500$ cad for this headunit hoping it would bring some good quality (audio wise but sadly disappointed) never the less v4a im sure can really bring the hype back.
here is cpu Z photos of this unit apparently a rk30 but factory software claims as rk3566
Willing to gladly try any modified versions of the file update.zip listed below. I'm completely aware of the dangers of potentially bricking my headunit.
(update) upload file service didnt want to upload the .zip file here it is via mediafire.
update
MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.
www.mediafire.com
If the update file contains a boot.img we could patch it using magisk canary!
(i bricked my device by using the regular magisk version which doesnt support a-only)
viper4 and rooted

Hey guys,
I also have an Eonon unit with the RK3566. Definitely interested in getting root access, I have magisk and adb, but I’m not able to enable usb debugging via traditional means. Anyone know how to get around the hidden developer options menu on these units?
Thanks

Thanks man! testing and will post results. thank you for your attempt!!
**Confirmed working on update supplied by @localos **
Superuser is working flawlessly.
Tested this by installing latest version of busybox
Head unit is working as it should wifi /BT 0 issues.
However v4A is crashing appon launch.
Any suggestions? I have not tried editing build.prop to permissive..
I'm a bit worried installing a later Verson of v4a but open to all suggestions.
It seems it's only taking audio ajustments via factory amplifier app.
Another question. Now that we have proper root access what is the best possible way to perform a full backup of the system as it sits?
I feel this would be great for someone with the same radio needing a working Backup..
TWRP? I don't know where to begin.. there is no custom recoverys..
Not Android Automotive OS, requested moderator move to [Android Head-Units] forum.
I have a similar android 11 head unit from pumpkin. using the RK3566 Chip, I have an original copy of the Update file for the head unit but cannot seem to patch the boot.img If someone can show me how to extract the boot.img patch it, and put it back in the update that would be great.
Or i can provide the update file and if someone could patch it for me like @localos did that would be amazing.
