No, unfortunately it's not what you think.
Qualcomm has upgraded it's nomenclature for all its SoC's (System-on-Chips), and they are now classified as S1, S2, S3 and S4. Obviously, the "lowest" component is S1 (For "Mass Market Smart Phones"), and, pretty surprisingly, it now includes the MSM7225, found in the Wildfire!

Well, the performance may be the same as before, but, at best, it gives us some bragging rights, what say?
Does that mean adreno 200 gpu is included in s1 (precisely on wildfire)

Not as far as I know, simply because of the word "upto" (Obviously a marketing gimmick)
Even if present, may be it takes ages to enable it. But with the current number of phones in market, I think it won't make a huge difference in doing so.
Anyway nice useful information when choosing a new phone.

It would be very, very nice if wildfire have some 'hidden' attributes(aces in the sleeve), right???

I'm considering both the Desire HD and Desire Z for upgrades and since I'm going to be stuck with it quite a while I want the best possible. I'm avoiding Motorola like the plague after the Milestone mess and Samsung only have the Galaxy worth considering but I prefer HTC.
With that said can anyone tell me if the CPU of the Desire Z / G2 is a newer architecture than the Desire HD uses? I only have numbers and letters to go by from spec sheets so I'm hoping those more knowledgeable than I can clear this up for me.

Is that a DZ or a G2 ? Would be great if we can finally put to rest the memory size issue, i.e. that the DZ really does have the same NAND chip as the G2. Someone already did a teardown on a G2 to prove that it really does have a 4GB chip, even though it has only 1.5 GB available.
Consensus seems to be that the DZ has exactly the same. However I'm not aware of this being proved via teardown.
Its a g2,
The storage is the same on both phones. Its a myth that the g2 has 4GB. They are the same phone entirely this is my belief

I believe the same thing. BUT, surely, until someone has down a DZ tear-down, can we really say this is a picture of "our" (DZ) phones ?

I thought PlayBook is from RIM? http://us.blackberry.com/playbook-tablet/
Isn't it possible to fake any device that you mentioned using our i9000 by editing build.prop?
We won't ever know if it's really that device right?

Yes it's possible. But they can't see most of apps on store if they do this. But I think half of them real.

Not really, if you ask S-Voice: "What is your name?" you will see that it says wolfram alpha so from an analitical point of view based on the data it has in it's database the answer is correct.
Fake! I try many time with no answer!
It is not fake...s-voice and Siri both get answers from wolfram alpha ... Below is the result.
But honestly who cares .. those are based some customer reviews? From where? I think may be some 5 people have that crappy trophy anyway and they will be MS fanboys. Windows phone sucks big time until the next version comes out.
Edit: dupe post
I have a HTC EVO 3D and bought for about 3 days a HTC Trophy because in my opinion its the best windows phone for the price yet.
It costs me 140 euro and thats cheap (!)

Right now I plan on getting the HTC One from TMobile on the 24th when it's released but I read an article (http://www.technobuffalo.com/2013/04/15/pantech-vega-iron-announcement/) and it mentions the Pantech Vega Iron which sounds A LOT like the SGS4, but with the SnapDragon 800 chip!
Has anyone heard anything about this phone or know how it might compare to the HTC One? Will the 800 chip (if it gets it) make that big of a performance/battery boost over the HTC One/S4?
Just trying to see if anyone has any other info about this phone and how it'd compare to the beauty of the HTC One
Pantech? Hah
