How do I go about removing certain apps from my apps under the market? I do not want to uninstall them, I just don't want to update certain apps like Pandora & ESPN Scorecenter.
I know that most apps that I sideloaded don't appear, but I sideloaded Pandora 1.3, and it appears.
I have a Droid X running APEX 1.4.1
Thanks in advance.

I updated my Play OTA to 2.3.3 and kept root, everything went smoothly and everything is running fine however when I go to Xperia Play launcher it shows the games I have installed but selecting "More Games" displays nothing just a "There are no content items". Tried refreshing it but nothing, clicking the market icon in the top right works ok but that does not seem to show all the games that would display on the "More games" screen.
Anyone else had this problem? Any solution?
My play does not have unlocked bootloader.

You have either deleted the fun and games application or denied the launcher internet access
Thanks for the heads up, yeah in titanium backup I had froze "Get games", unfreezing it solved the problem.
I decided not to remove bloat now to save the hassle of OTA updates, so just freeze them, glad I did
Thanks again

No trouble, Yeah i ment get games, they changed the name of the application in the latest update to "fun & games"
I'm having this same problem. I root my verizon r800x and whenever I click on any of the games I get the error "No Content". I tried clearing the data in get games and resinstalling the get games apk but neither seemed to work. I'm must have deleted something when removing the verizon bloatware I'm just not sure what.
So I was playing around with Titanium backup and used the market doctor feature and accidentally attached apps that I have from the amazon app store to the standard android market.
I'm in the situation now where apps say that they've been purchased but it denies me when I choose to install them. The market says I need to update them etc...
My question is, How do I clear the connection to the standard android market of apps that titanium backup connected?
detach what you've attached by accident
it either doesnt work like that or i dont know how to.i cant figure out how to tell the market that ive never bought or downloaded an app.
Long press on the app(s) you want detached from the market in Titanium, select detach from market.
Sent from my Droid Incredible running some random CM7 nightly.
I still have issues with apps showing up in the market as purchased when it definitely is not. Even if I have the app fully uninstalled. This is affecting me both on my tf and my inc.
This is still present even after telling titanium to detach it.
Manage Applications > Market > Clear data/cache
Nothing is working...
The apps show up as purchased, will not let me install/update saying that I have not purchased them. Data clear, new rom, new market apk, looking through the market's online website, etc has not worked.
I wish this was a simple issue but it doesn't seem like anyone else has had experience working with it.
Is there a way to tell the android market that I have not downloaded/purchased apps on my account? aka erase my market history with the apps in question.
I had Getjar installed on my Elocity when I bought it. If I click on the Getjar icon, I get taken to a page on the Internet that no longer exists. How can I change Getjar so that when I click on it, I will get taken to the Getjar site on the Internet. Is Getjar an okay app, or is there a better one? (I don't believe I can delete the Getjar app from this Elocity A7.)
Also, would anyone know a good, free, weasther app that I could download that would show the weather (in my vicinity) on the Home screen (background) , similar to the time that appears there now?
amazon, google android market
use this to get android market working http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1431967
after you root the device you can install the amazon app store and buy the root explorer if you don't get it through other means. it's a useful app, buy it. you can find the getjar program in /system/app, where you drop off the google apps. be careful when you remove the default apps, try to force stop them before uninstalling. 2 of them can't be stopped(one is fring and i can't remember the other, i think it had a light blue icon) and after they are uninstalled will give an error that will keep popping up, just hard reset and continue.
for the weather app, just search 'weather widget' in either app store. keep in mind that app will be a battery drain.

Thank you. Sorry, but I am new at all of this (tablets, etc.) and don't know what you mean by "root," "drop off," "default apps," "force stop," "error popping up," etc. Really confusing and I do not want to make my grandson's A7 unstable, etc.
I am really enjoying this Nexus 7 device, which I got yesterday!
I am learning how to use this and have a very basic question.
After I install an app, I might want to free up space and uninstall. However,
I still want to be able reinstall again in the future. What are the steps here?
I only did figured out how to delete the app.
all or most of your apps are store in your google cloud i.e. in google play store app. >my apps> (swipe right)> All apps

Or navigate to "manage apps" in settings.then select the app there.
To uninstall, you can also open up the app drawer, drag the app out, and uninstall will show up at the top as you are holding on to. the app.

The app that I deleted in Nexus 7 is still there on my device ready to be installed again. (in google play store) I assume that this is the google cloud.
If I never want this app again, then how do I get it off my list of apps on google play store?

I uninstalled a free app (eg. Angry Birds Rio) through the manage apps. If I want to install it again, I need to go through Google Play?
Reinstalling takes it from "my" cloud on to the device?
If it was a paid app, I would reinstall from google play too? It would not ask me to pay again since I paid for it once?

You only pay for apps once correct, unless you uninstalled it during the refund period.
But yes, in the Play Store under "All Apps" is a list of all apps you have ever downloaded and purchased so you can download again. Can't take them out that list I don't think. Only apps you have installed show in the "My Apps" list.

So I've got root on my Kindle now, but I can't figure out how to get stock play store apps to replace kindle apps with. I would rather have the play store version of the Audible app for example, as I think the interface is better. But even though I've removed the folder from the system apps, there's still a greyed out icon and it won't let me install the play store app. Any help?

As of now I don't believe anyone's figured it out. The two versions just don't play nice with each other.
Thanks, that's what I figured.
