Hi guys, quick question, does anyone use the TouchFLO GUI on their Magic/ Sapphire? It does slow down sometimes and lag with Fatality, but I'm about to try [ROM][PORT] Haykuro's 1.79.482.3 hero_release by Drizzy for 32B (08.24.2009, maybe that's better.... Anyone with wise words? Or should I just use the normal home?
I would recommend the Qtek ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=540745)
Much faster and better (i've tried just about all the hero roms)
I'm currently using Drizzy's no-name ROM v3.
Qtek has SMS/MMS issues although maybe resolved in 1.3b but I suffered side effects for being an android addict when I upgraded to 1.3b.
As a result Drizzy's no-name it was and with Swapper, Optimized Rozie and Pego's following tip:
You may try to set a higher priority to phone app,
You can do that using ADB
1. adb shell
2. # renice -20 com.android.phone (it set the higher priority to the phone)
It fixed laggy incoming calls for me...

It's my first post, I hope I am in the right section ^^ By the way forgive me for my bad english (I'll do my possible to be understand).
There was a fix for the gallery 3d horizontal mode, which removed the psychedelic rendering. Ok, that solved the Gallery 3d bug, but i think there is something else behind. Why ? Just because the really good player ³ aka Cubed has the same issue when it rotate.

I saw this bug on the first 2.1 Villain and in all other 2.1 roms. I currently have the Villain 10.3 which (as far i know) is on a official 2.1 based.
And, ho yes it was initially working with 1.5 Modaco when i wasnt on a 2.1 rom.

Spica Cyanogen 6.1.1 runs well, i tried it today. Ofcourse there aren't match drivers, so things like vibra, volume keys, phone, wifi and much more don't work. It's like in HTC Rom - just need to fix drivers.
Samdroid should work too.

Themes and addons from Floyo should work just fine.
Works : SD, GL, sensors, Bluetooth, Vibra!,LED!,Brightness! 3G/GPRS, SMS, GSM CALLS!
Broken still : Wifi (wpa is broken),Camera,USB Storage,GPS?
Quadrant Score : 900!

I know that but still i realy need gps and wifi but there is froyo.

This may mean nothing to him, but I promise to give him 100 euros when there's a stable 2.2 on the x8. So much of the internet is waiting for it!!!
By the way, on the latest 2.2 he released, do apps work properly? and what about 3G internet connection?

By the looks of it i give it another 2 weeks top until theres a fully stable Froyo.
3G connection works fine on it at the moment. Only problems are USB Mode and Camera. And WIFI WPA
I've tested it yesterday and for what I know the apps are running great, very good performance afterall but I didn't test 3G connection :\

I have founded a few bugs on that ROm like
- Headphone jack doesn't work
- Cannot read ext2 partition on sd card
But GPS is working
Thanks for the answers! I guess I'll wait a bit more then. What I really need really are apps working, 3G working, and of course calls and sms I can do without the rest lol
but if the sd card has problems, yeah that's not good lol!
Still, great job that guy is doing.
EDIT: oh right, did someone try out going on a website with flash content? that's the main reason I want 2.2 haha
double edit: oh right and headphones! my phone is my music player and i can't live without music

Hi people I have a question, I Have a Sony Ericsson Xperia X8
I have two roms, Floyo 0.30 and MiniCM1.0.2, but I liked the sound of MiniCM that of Floy 0.30 is different, this does not sound so good and so strong.
I want put the driver or library or whatever sound of MiniCM in Floyo, is this possible? so, what files would have to replace?
