First you should Stop or Exit application, after that you can uninstall the aplication itself.
I've searched guys and I can't find an answer to my problem. I'm running the stock att tilt rom and ever since I can remember internet explorer pages won't load properly. It seems like it might be memory related. I'll enter and address and the page will turn white while it begins to load. Then I'll see a little bit of the page load right but that's it. It'll load half the page and leave another part of it white. It's not until I scroll down the page that it shows the entire page properly. So it loads, but it won't show everything properly till I scroll or move down the page. WTF? P.S. opera isn't really an option at this point.
Okay, forgive me for being "that" newbie, but I have a laundry list of things that I need answers for regarding my Nexus 4. Because not only am I new to the Nexus line, I am new to Android all together. And even newer to a rooted Android. So, could anyone help me out with these items? Your support is greatly appreciated!
------ My music folder has disappeared in the file path. I like to use Android File Transfer on my Mac to manually put my songs and other media on my phone. But one day, it just randomly disappeared. It was always under /storage/emulated/0 and now it just randomly doesn't exist. Yet, the music that I synced at earlier times still plays in the music app!
------ My direct OTA update from the mother ship will not install. I am well overdue for 4.2.2 because it just sits as a reminder in my status bar list. I go to "Restart and Install", but I get an error message when the poor little Android is being opened up with the gears sticking out. Here is how I go about it: 1) Click Restart and Install, at the top reads: "Install Untrusted Package? THIS CANNOT BE UNDONE", 2) go down to --Yes - Install untrusted zip, some log code runs at the bottom with words like "Failed..." and "Error" and up at the top it says ClockworkMod Recovery v6.0.2.3, 3) I then go down to Install update from SD Card (because I imagine that's where it would be when it finishes downloading, right?), 4) I then select --- apply /sdcard/update.zip and confirm it, then I'm back to step #2.
------ ROMs: Where do go for them, how do I install them, and how do I manage them? I just wanna do stuff like change the lock screen animation and basic UI tweaks.
------ My signal will frequently drop out on me completely. I am on AT&T's network, and it seems like every chance it gets the signal dies (bars go grey). Rebooting will usually perform a quick fix. Is this due to the root? Or does AT&T hate that I'm unlocked on their network?
------- Finally, battery drain. I barely get half a day on my battery just doing general tasks like texting, calling, Email, etc. Is this also from the root?
Thank you guys so much! I'm so sorry about all this!

Holy Run on sentences......
1st you should never have rooted. You don't understand it, you don't use it, you have no idea why you are rooted.
I won't help you with installing tweaks and hacks and roms because. You Don't understand it.
2. You can't get the OTA because you are rooted and I bet you have a modified recovery....
3.Battery doesn't care about your root. ATT doesn't care as long as you are paying your bills.
If I was you, I'd read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183555, everything in it. Then I would read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183555 again. Everything in it. and then I'd read it again. You have a lot to learn and anyone who hands you the information is hindering you and not Helping you.
Good luck.
thread title says it all...updated to fire os 7.3.2.1, absolutely ZERO idea what they added/removed/changed.
anyone got patch notes?
the download manager now creates garbage downloads
and it also fails them randomly, it also hides them but still shows them as downloads, if you try to cancel them it crashes.
also the appstore is now 4.10kb which coincidentily is the default size of apps that aren't enabled on the system. the file manager also gets a downgrade, now it crashes, freezes, and sometimes refuses to show you the downloads folder. there also a new version of alexa and theres an imdb tv app that you can't delete. also sometimes apps in the window manager folder won't show up for whatever reason. theres also a "kindle" app that shows up now even when its blocked by pcs. sometimes when you try to update you find out that the build date is actually june 2021
the update button sometimes disappears too... oh and theres an icon on the top right corner of a notification when the app that its for draws over other apps and is currently active. other than that its a complete downgrade from the last version.
Wow - that's quite a list. My experience has been uneventful. Transparent update, download manager continues to work, no new apps, breathing uninpeeded, dog didn't die. YMMV

why all this complication?
it's way easier to develop an app that auto-starts on bootup, which opens your website in full screen and auto refresh every xx days, hours, minutes or even seconds.
how do you think most apps example like costco, ISPs, Banking apps work? 99% of them are apps that open their website which is optimized for mobile devices, so you can only navigate through that specific site.
I'm sure there are some android app developers here in xda that can do this for you in no time
