Two things come to mind.
Did you upgrade the market app to the new one (with films)? there have been problems with it.
have you posted on the typhoon thread?
Edit; sorry just saw your post count, ignore #2

I have latest market.I instal old market but same.
I have read that the market auto-updates to the new version within minutes. check you still have the old one.
have you tried moving some apps to sd (or vice-versa)and re-trying?
what size sd are you using? Maybe get a bigger one?
I noticed in the typhoon thread somebody had market issues but no-one replied.
good luck
I have the exact same problem.
I have installed TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 Nightly v3.5.8 today.
Everything went smooth and I could install several applications from the standard market.
The problem occured when I wanted to install Skype from the market.
Saying I had Insufficient space.
Ive been looking around alot but haven't found a solution that worked for me.
I hope for a reply

So this is my first thread and I'm not really sure if this is the right place to post this topic.
Basically the title says it all.
FYI:
running darkstone's FroyoStone v2
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=747492
unmounting the SD card before attempting to install
un-installing Google Maps 4.4 before attempting to install using Titanium Backup and still no luck
What I'd like to know is if there is a work-around and if not at least a reason why it's unable to install.
I second this
I also have this problem and just wanted to ring in, I suppose we could just try a different build.

Do you know if it's just FroyoStone related though, or just any hd2 android build
Conflikt Icey,
If you had read the thread or at least did a search for maps in Darkstone's ROM thread you would have found this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=8096500&postcount=3117
It worked for anyone that tested it, so I suppose it will work for you too...
I had problems installing on HyperDroid 1.2 and, at some point in time, it installed behind my back.

Tried it, didn't work for me. The directory structure was different to that.
Anyone got any further suggestions? I can't be the only one with this problem surely as I am using FroyoStone V2 which seems to be pretty popular.
I couldn't install it with HyperDroid 1.2 but now with Bangsters 1.3 it worked without a problem. You just have to do the installation manually.

Yeah I just tried Bangsters build too and it installed without any issues. So I guess it's build related

Just go to the market, select Maps and then update. It's relatively straight-forward

how is this related to rom developement ? post in right section next time please.
wrong area, this is for dev only not inane questions that could be answered by using the search
thank you, moderators, for pointing that he posted in the wrong section.
HeartKiller, go to the settings>applications>manage applications, find angry birds and select 'move to phone'
You can also unmount your SD card prior to installing.

Did you even bother to use search button or even read what has been posted here???
Its because angry birs must5 be installed to internal memory or SD-EXT.
If you have arom that has App2SD+ installed its automatically moved to SD card so you need to manually move it to phone storage afterwards.
This thread really must be moved, but seeing as it is still here.....
I found out that I simply could not play angry birds on my HD2 as it got too hot and froze.
What I have discovered is that using a rom without sense, like MarkinuX HD Extra Clean V1.71 helps tremendously.
I know that I have a fault with my phone (and I really should put everything back the way I found it and give my Windows Mobile phone back to the agents to be repaired) but I cannot abide the idea of removing Android, even for a moment, so I make do without sense for now.
As it is, Markinus's Rom is rather nice.
Ok, nuff said. Lets move this thread to where perhaps it can be of some use to other people who would never have dreamed of hitting this particular section for help.
Hi,
I installed CM 7 Nightly 103 and it came without Market App. I installed Market App from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=831782
Symp.Green.market.v7.2.2.zip
Flashed it and restarted . It is not visible under All application and secondly Faq 4 mentions on the thread to purge all data.
Even that option is not there. Help me out guys
Flash GApps Package. Not the Patched Market since it doesn't work anymore:
http://android.d3xt3r01.tk/cyanogen/gapps/gapps-gb-20110307-signed.zip
I think, but I'm not sure, that you will have to install "Google app something", abreviated as "GAPs" to get the google applications working under CM. Normaly you can find it in the first post of CM7.
Hope this helps
Erwin.
EDIT: Damn you, 3xeno ;-)
Hi all,
I was reading since days in different postings if someone has the same issue, but could not find any solution. Hope you have any idear, so thanks in advance:
KF with ICS ROM V 1-19 and since today 1-20 is running perfect, so thanks for the done work, really fantastic job to the devs.
BUT, with the posted market gapps_ics_4.0.3_v10.zip I have with both ROMs the same issue, login is working, searching is working, downloading (e.g. kindle app) is starting but nothing else is happening/no progress same with other apps as well.
Any idear where or what I did wrong or how to fix it? Installed as the ROM by TWRP flashing from internal SD card partition + wiping before and after each ( so before and after ROM and before and after gapps)
I checked it by flashing back to 6.2.2 and rooting + installing market via KFU but same issue, therefore I guess it has something to do with the account,..... but I can not find any hint in the internet or forum which is helping me to sort it out.
market app deletion of cache and data does not work
using browser for market instead of app starting download but same issue as with app = no download progress
tested some market accounts, gmail,...... all same issue
Any help welcome.
Thanks and regards
Etam1tlu
Hi all,
I tested add. options and still have no solution why the market app can not download updates or new apps.
Today I tested Ravens kernel incl custome Ravens WIFI driver for CM9.
I had the hope that WIFI might cause the issue, but it doesn not work, so same issue as before. I saw that a lot of people read my first posting in this thread, so I believe I am not the only one with this issue. So therefore any kind of hint, solution, fix or explaining the problem (beside the problem between the ears ) would help. I am happy to test.
Thanks in advance
Etam1tlu
hello, I tried to find an android Rom, to make dual boot with windows mobile 6.5, my difficulty is to find, a more recent and functional version possible (perhaps by not understand English very well), just do not even know which one to choose, grateful if I could help me.
edit: I find this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1401767 before post, this is just one of the reasons why i was in doubt, is very well done, for who knows what the best kernel, or even a Rom, but for me, i decided to install an Android Rom on my HD2, in the last 5 days, is not going well, you know?
Hmm from what I understood u want a good Rom with a good kernel and not sure what to choose right??
If so, there are many, firstly sense or no sense ??

For sense 3.5 there was one updated by boxmax just 2 days ago but I haven't tried it....as for kernels, the Rom u choose would probably have a good one but If u don't like it you can always change
Hope I answred ur question
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Ok thanks, I'll try then now...
edit: great Rom, but i'm having problems installing apps...
What exactly is your problem?
do you have acces to the Market?
Let me transfer the first app, the others says, it will do, open the transfer bar, but does not even begin, it seems that i dont have space, is that the transfer is made to the internal memory? (I have a lot of space in memory card...)
P.S. - sorry, my english...
edit: i try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1585420 works fine until now (no problem, install/tranfer apps), but i realy like the other one...
if you don't use any app2sd script , the app will be automatically saved on your internal memory.
Try this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21195341&postcount=207
but be sure, you have a ext partition on your sd card.
you can create it with the normal cwm recovery
Edit: i attached the script
Thanks, i will try this...
Edit: Well I tried this: ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=824154 ) first, because it seemed simpler, and it worked very well (5*), thanks anyway to everyone, and for everything, by the way, something else, what program i choose to see mp4, with subtitles, without delay, on HD2?
