Hi I was reading this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=935578
But I have some questions and I can`t reply in that thread.
So, my questions is, I'm mexican, so the model of my phone is LG E900h. Can I flash the open europe ROM? Because I seriously want to remove this horrible latin rom from my phone
I would say NOT! It is clearly specified in that topic that there are 2 types of phones. I would not risk to flash the Open Europe and then brick the phone

no es posible, acabo de intentarlo el programa marca error.
Hi, my phone doesn't turn on, but I can turn on EmergencyDownload so phone responds. When I tried flashing I have ErrNum1010, does anyone knows what does mean ?
After many tries I,m one step further, but also ErrNum4008 RAM PROGRAM, any idea ?
Check you are using correct DLL, update LG unified drivers to latest, check you are using correct firmware image, if it fails, RMA the phone. I had one with that exact problem and turned out to be faulty motherboard

Sorry for what? Normally it is not necessary to open a new threat for any question that you might have, just join the different threats about a particular subject.
I guess you are new to all this upgrading stuff. First of all, and most important, is to find out whether your device is cid-locked or not. I think that it is safe to say that when you got your device through a telephone provider, like Orange or T-Mobile, at a very cheap price, then the device is locked and you should have it unlocked before flashing any ROM (except the official ones that you can download from your providers site). When you bought your device retail, at the full price (the Artemis is sold around 500 euro's), then the device is not locked.
Upgrading itself can be pretty straightforward: just establish an ActiveSync connection, run the <ROM name>.exe from your pc and follow the instructions on your screen.

Unfortunately, no, not really. On older HTC models you could find out by running the mtty tool, but it doesn't work on the Artemis. I read somewhere that on our device that whole locking (and unlocking) method is quite different than on other models. That is also why it seems so hard to develop a free unlock tool for the Artemis.
The only way you can be absolutely sure is by running the unlock tool from imei-check, but they will charge you for it.
If you just THINK that your device might be unlocked, then I would not recommend to try flashing any other than an official ROM. Of course, it is your choice and you might want to take the risk. That risk is that your phone will become 'bricked' and won't start normally. The only way out of that situation is returning it to the seller to have it restored. Some people with a bricked phone however are able to restore it themselves with the original ROM, so make sure that you have that ROM available. Some original ROMs can be found on the internet, but not all of them.
sorry but you said

Just connect the USB, let activesync make the connection and start the BAT file in the dir of the rom... wait 30min

Andreazzo,
Your Artemis, does it have a logo on the body. A logo from maybe T-mobile, Orange, Vodafone, O2 or whatever telecom provider?
If yes, the you shouldn't flash your device with v2.00.02 PV for HTC Artemis ( Crossbow Style ), because the chances are that you will brick it.
If your P3300 only has the HTC logo, then it is fully unlocked and you can flash whatever rom (flavor) you want for the Artemis.
So be aware of the fact. The life of your P3300 is in your hands.
This it is not probably true information. This it is not to end rule
My Artemis he had only logo on body. The logo of start take-off was the only HTC also. No trace T Mobile Orange O2 Vodafone. And I have brick. :{
I tried flash by bootloader however still announcement INVALID ID
Follow for voice grun. get rid (remove) CID - will not it be dust brick as I.

hi guys,
i got an optimus 7 with a demo rom, i've read on the Mozart section that the problem was solved by flashing another rom, is there anyone who can help me flash a full operating rom on this device pls??
thanks
First of...How did you get your hands on one. Secondly, why are you still keeping it? Thirdly, I have yet to get bootloader access on my Optimus 7 like you can with the HTC phones, and there are no dumps for the LG rom yet either.
I got one for free from a vendor who cant put it in the shop-window cuz too many criminals in that district.
I just have to "unlock" it and return to the vendor so he can use it like a normal phone.
Flash it..... the flash is simple and explained here... you can also choose the vendor you like more)))
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=935578
I flashed mine yesterday (from Vodafone to TIM) and now works perfectly.... the procedure on that page have kind of lack of explanations, if you need any help I can explain you better the procedure, I am trying to post a more detailed one there but it's impossible for me because I have less that 10 posts... don't believe the guy that say he fried the phone, maybe he just made something wrong
Hi Guys,
I unfortunately ****ed my Galaxy y pro, so i had to reflash it via odin but i flash it some strange rom. Now i would like to reflash it with the original one which is also more recent then this one, unfortunately kies is not allowing me to do so. So i need to apply some workarounds and for that i need the original details.
So guys can you please provide me with the PDA/PHONE/CSC for the Czech or at least some western european rom details?
You can acquire the details by entering *#1234# in phone, this will enter the service mode and show the
PDA
PHONE
CSC
Can you post this information?
After that can you please enter *#272*YOURIMEI#
this will write down the PC code can you please post this information also?
Hopefully i will be able to find the latest original rom via ?Check Fus with your details,
thank you very much!

Hi,
I guess there will be one generic for central Europe. I already acquired some details from one GT B5510 sold in CZ, I'm just waiting for the product code.
After that we will see what fus will offer me
but so far I'm using one netherlands rom and it runs fine - only few minor problem which i was also experiencing in the begining when i bought the phone - sd card disconnects and no network but both this issues occurred just once
So maybe at the end I will just stick with the Netherlands ROM, cos anyway it looks completly like the one which I had before with new gui for picking up the calls.

Hi Guys ! Ireally hope you can help me !!! I purchased a lg g2 d802 on a website in germany (where i live). I updated my phone to lolipop. the update process finished without problem. now when i turned the phone on and wanted to use it, the touch screen was not properly working making the phone unusable. i processed a hard reset with the power and volume buttons but it didn t fix the problem. I messaged lg germany, with the imei number they found out that the phone is actually a version for the asian market, thing that i didn t know when i purchased the phone. i tried to get in touch with the website that sold me the phone but i can't. i don t get any answer from them. I guess the problem with the phone is that it was not made to work with the european lolipop update. does any one know, how i could fix that ? i am still a beginner with android. But i can understand technical stuffs quiet good.

ok, i have another question : now i got another lg g2 on android 4.4.2, it was working perfectly, this time i made sure that it was an european variant before i process any update then i did update the phone and i had exactly the same problem like i had with the other phone. after the update is completed, the phone has touch screen problem. i read a lot of infos on internet and learned how to flash firmwares. i first flash my lg to android 5.0.2, it succeeded but still this screen problem, then i flashed it back to android 4.4.2 and still have this touch screen problem. i wonder now if it s not because i use windows 10 !!! could it be ??

am not sure and i dont think it matters . since i dont kow much about KK post this in the help thread in general.
New to the forum here, I want to buy this phone but it's going to be the Chinese version (A2017). Can a different ROM be flashed? Can the bootloader be unlocked?
Thanks in advance.
(Sorry if the grammar is wrong, English is not my first language)
I have the same issue but no answer yet
Though i haven't tested it...
Flashing Rom wont be a problem.. But modem ensure your using the correct files
Also heard Chinese model don't have. Capacitive keys flashing other roms will remove the option for navigation keys... So you may have problem in navigating it...
Take a backup before trying anything...
