Req. SHW-M380W system apps - Galaxy Tab 10.1 General

I am hoping that a Korean user finds this post and can help me. I need someone to copy all the apk and odex files from the /system/app folder. Titanium didn't backup some files when I unistalled them.

I needed over 50 apps/odex but don't worry about it. Someone made a system image.

[Q] JI6 Build.prop Destroyed

In editing the stock JI6 build.prop from the official update I did something wrong and totally messed it up. Can anyone post the file for me or help me to re-edit the file?
Thanks!
*sigh* Always make some sort of backup before you edit files like build.prop, i'll upload build.prop for you after I get back from the store.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I did a backup with Titanium Backup and assumed this would be included. I guess it proves that I should not ass-ume anything! I really appreciate it....

For future reference, you extract the zip file which is provided in the Android Developmental section then you go into system/app
Does this work? I seen a bunch of DRM apk's and libs thats supposed to go with it.

You may have to install to your system folder...
If so...
Put on the root of your sdcard
adb remount
adb shell
install /sdcard/blockbuster_htc.apk /system/app/
My guess would be nope. But lets see what the OP says when he tries to install.
No it won't work

i don't know where to get those files from or even what to do. this is what i'm going to do. i'm going to flash a rom that has that included then i'm going to titanium backup the blockbuster apk. once i do that, hopefully tb backs up everything that is needed to run the apk then i will just do a restore of blockbuster after i flash back to cm6. i will probably try the new nightly to see what that new lock screen looks like.
Yea there are a couple of drm files that your going to have to copy over as well. If you download the ota alone its easier to pick it out the stuff you'll need.

Cleaning up bloatware.....

I just finished rooting and installed root explorer and was wondering if there is any unneeded extras I can remove?
Thanks

I wouldn´t remove apps just rename then. Cause Acer looks for the apps when you want to update. Then you get massive problems - just have a look to a lot of topics here...
use search please
I would listen to corn3d79, don't erase the apps. Read around the forums

youre almost better off using PM (android package manager) in a terminal or adb shell to disable or freeze the apps you dont want. you can also do this in apps like titanium backup.
this way, you're not renaming files and later forgetting to name them back to the original files, and it'll keep your 'frozen' settings after updates.

Thanks thats what I did, why have another app like titanium running to freeze when you can just rename it takes 2 seconds in root explorer

There's advantages to freezing/disabling apps using Titanium Backup or Package Manager (built into Android system). The first one is that its built-in function and you do not have to alter filenames and have to remember to rename them back later. Secondly, I don't think it affects what apps show up in the market place. Some apps require special permissions from certain things like PHONE or CAMERA, etc. If you disable it, I believe it won't affect the marketplace, however if you rename the file, the system doesnt think its there period and will think your tablet is incompatible with the apps.
note: this really only applies to people who are renaming phone.apk, etc.

That is the first thing I did. It first asked confirmation for replacing a system app. When I gave 'Ok' it says 'Application not installed'. Because of this only I tried copying the files to system/app folder.

This is not the one. I'm talking about the Nexus One's default wallpaper, which will be available in LG P500's stock froyo ROM also. I think it will be available in the first set of apks you provided. But I'm facing the issue of installing.
Anyway thanks for your help mate. I'll try to install those apks somehow.
Try Nexus Revamped Pro on Market.
And what about Microbes live wallpaper from Nexus? It has been ported to SGS, so is it possible to have this in OO?

try renaming the name or extension (so that you still have the file there in case anything goes wrong) and then try installing the apk. i had to do that for one of my system apps

SEC Email FC's after removing bloat

Can anyone please upload My Magazine 1.0.0" & "My Magazine - Here and now 1.1.0" apk files? with the help of some others here I have narrowed my problems with the stock email app force closing upon clearing a notification or attempting to open the app, down to being caused by my having removed these apps thinking they were just bloat. However, it seems they are being called by the email app and are the source of my problem. Thanks to whomever comes to the rescue!
looking at mine i see Magazines.apk, MagazinesHome.apk but not what you listed.
i was looking in system/app
I think that's them, since I deleted them I don't have anything to reference so I could have the name off a bit. If you don't mind please upload?
Thanks

lol, I just did the same thing. I accidently removed mymagazine stuff and getting stock email app FC. So, I had to remove both email and exchange app, too. However, I know what was the problem now, can you upload secemail.apk and exchange.apk (I can't remember the name exactly) from Note 3 for me?
I will really appreciate.

Follow up
Hi Folks:
Grateful return to Android OS....I like to tinker and had a tablet I learn some skills on. Got rid of APPLE GARBAGE never again.
Re-learning Android skills.
So, I like some others removed MyMagazine and that POS Flipboard among **many** items...
All is very well on my sleek and clean Note 3...love it!
BUT I have the same email notification crash as everyone here
2 questions:
1) How do I load these files again? I forgot!! (embarassing!!). Odin?
2) If I load the 2 securemail and 2 exchange files, do I have to re-load the MYMagazine file again as well? I would really prefer NOT TO if I don't have to. I really detest and resent manufacturers putting their junk onto phones in the first place...
Hell, I remove most Google Garbage as well...and Verizon's stuff too.
Never had a problem until now.
Thanks for your time and assistance!

Firstly, sorry for not being able to link yet. Which is why copy paste:
"Installing apps on Android is relatively straightforward with the Android Market. You search for an app, select it and click install. However, there are often times when you may want to install a newly released app or an app that is not available in the Android Market. In these cases you will usually have to manually download and install an .apk file. An .apk file behaves in a similar manner to a “.exe” file on Windows, you need to copy it to your device and run it. Here are some ways that you can manually install an application without going through the market."
(-source: maketecheasier.com/install-applications-without-the-market/)
"WHAT IS AN ODEX FILE?
In Android file system, applications come in packages with the extension .apk. These application packages, or APKs contain certain .odex files whose supposed function is to save space. These ‘odex’ files are actually collections of parts of an application that are optimized before booting. Doing so speeds up the boot process, as it preloads part of an application. On the other hand, it also makes hacking those applications difficult because a part of the coding has already been extracted to another location before execution."
