If you've worked on the Android Flip clock before then you know how much time is devoted to theming this bad boy. I've put together a nice "Action" that can be used in Adobe Photoshop.
This Action will do the following:
1) Mod the clock digit however you choose. You'll need to create the initial recorded action.
2) After you've created the initial recorded action, the "Actions" will go through 0-9, use your created action, save each digit's upper and bottom half using the correct dimensions on the flip clock.
3) It will also name the clock digits their correct name when opening the Fusion.apk (Based off of EVO & Thunderbolt) I'm not sure if this will carry over to other phones using the fusion.apk
All you'll need to do is rotate the clock digits upside down and of course design the initial digit.

At the request of another member, I've included a copy of the clock made with this "action." I've also included all the clocks I've designed so far. All I ask is that I be referenced if any of them are used in ROMS/Themes. Thanks.

What is the GUI Skining application you are using that "!STILL!" shows the phone signal icon. Most GUI Skinning apps cover this info up! Please let me know I can't wait, so excited!
GUI skin
The picture is not a screen capture of hops's XDA but taken from oabsoftware. And you are right, I didn't notice this. We have to ask them what were they using when they took this picture.
yes please do! I see sometime people doctoring the display to make their product look nice but, it really gets a lot of people excited about something that does not exist I have seached long and hard and nothing seems to be able to do it without cover the signal bars  so I thought it might be pocket blinds a new version but they still have the old one out from years ago no update, and it doesn't work. So needless to say my hopes are high here. So keep us posted I'm sure I'm not the only one wanting this 8)

WHAT'S UP!? what's it?
Windows Mobile notification inside my device looks different?
why?
did I missed something? or someone....
That looks nice. What's the link?

I linked pictures directly, see pictures properties
@JGUI: He was probably asking for the link to the HTML page which originally embeds those images.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/press/imagegallery/default.mspx
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/press/imagegallery/customization.mspx
Saw that when I tried finding the Windows Mobile boot splash that had the progress bar on it a while ago. Ended up not finding that one, btw... if anybody knows where that went..
Why did you actually attach the same screenshot twice?
fixed, thanks for announce
I must say it looks very appealling to me. I wonder why they're there.. Should I try to create a today theme based on it?
i think, that it is just a fake of WM5 theme.
Look at the fonts and stuff.. positions of the soft buttons text..
hmm.. i don't know.

yih.. one of those "you *could* do this with customizations... (smallprint: if you want to spend a lot of time and money fighting our API and whatnot)
Notification bubbles are just HTML, so they could be real, but it would require access to the source code, so I imagine that bit is a Microsoft only level customisation. I've not investigated but I haven't seen any way of applying a user defiend template to notifications - but as each app is responsible for the look of its own notification, I'm doubtful.
That's not to say it's not possible to hack the system to intercept notifications and re-write them.

Hey,
Ive written a Listcontrol with Scroll support. It supports scrolling, activating
and dragging ( wait short when touch the Display, then you can drag ).
This Zip contains two files, grid view and list view.
It would be nice if you can test it, and give me a feedback. For testing it is also a little ApplicationLauncher, which should work for english ROMs.
It requires .net compact 2.0

The control itself seems to work fine on my T-Mobile Wing, although the font in the grid is way too small and the grid's scrolling seems smoother than the list's. The list is kind of slow.
Also when clicking on the task (outlook) application in the start menu (both list and grid), it crashes:
at System.Diagnostics.Process.StartWithShellExecuteEx(ProcessStartInfor startInfo). It's part of my recent programs list, so I don't know if that could be the reason?
Do you plan to release the control?
Working ok on my prophet grid icons and text to small list just plain white grid runs better and managed to start screen shot

Hey,
thanks for your answers, its nice to show you're interested.
I have just changed the ListView, so it scroll like the Grid one, and shows Icons.
With the icons and App Launch Exception I have to look, what could be done, but I will find a reason ;-)
Sorry for second Post,
I have now changed the Font size in Grid view,
you ll find it in Atachment

PS: please dont use the minimize button, it doesnt work well
Hi guys, For the past 2 days I've been looking for the default black wallpaper that's used on every single tab in HTC Sense 2.1 UI with no luck. It's just not there.

The only file I found was StartMenu_Background_Screen_480x800 and StartMenu_Background_Screen_800x480 in the \Windows folder - both are transparent, so I check them in Photoshop to see are they slightly whiter near the center (like in the upper screencap) but they weren't.
I'm desperately looking for this wallpaper to use it in a skin for 'Touch X' application (I want it to look like a build-in tab).
PLEASE HELP!
It is two manilla files, one for the top three quarters or so and one for the bottom, I don't know which numbers they are in 2.1 but I have 2.0.
They are:

Thanks a lot but I was able to make the wallpaper in Photoshop by editing the screen I posted earlier. I used it in a skin for Smabergs Actionscreen.
To give this threat a closure here's the wallpaper (maybe someone else was looking for it):
You can also find it in the HDWalls program as the "default" background. That's what I used to create a cab and use it on my Tilt 2.

Everyone else ... take a look below:
Hey guys and gals,
So for over a month now, I've been dealing with the recent update to ESPN ScoreCenter. For those who use it (specifically those with HTC Evos, I've seen) have an issue were the application widget is too big. Instead of being a 4x1 size, it takes up 4x2. Despite still only being the 4x1 size, the frame is 4x2. I contacted the support desk about it, and they told me to try re-installing. Hmm, well that didn't work. So I went about trying to fix it myself. I tried editing xmls, changing pngs, nothing was working. So I went back to the drawing board and stumbled upon something. It's better explained below:
1. Install old version 2.1.2
- Download Link
2. Place the widget in the location you'd like it to be.
3. Once your widget is placed, install or update to the new version
- Download Link- Android Market Link
4. After the update is completed, your widget may timeout. Give it a second and it will come back. You'll notice the size hasn't changed.
5. For testing purposes, you can try to add a new widget in an empty space. You should find that it's the 4x2 layout, which we don't want.

Image 2: After update to new version
Image 3: Removed original widget, attempted to add widget back (after update)
