Just noticed the version is 1.2 and looked on the dev forum and there's nothing about 1.2 on there!
Can anyone shed some light on this for me please?

I flashed it earlier, it's buggy so I wouldn't flash it if I were you
I messaged the dev and he told me to just keep it up to date! I've had 1 restart for no reason but that's it! What bugs do you have!?

Read all the discussions of the last days and wanted to say that I love this ROM. Especially the fonts are really cool, never seen this in any other sense3.0 ROM.
Was surprised about getting v1.2 VIA rom manager, tried and had no visible issues.

I have v1.1, installed the update build patch, but still see 1.0 in the software version. I think I will wait for 1.2 to appear on the site though, and see what everyone is saying about it before I update

I was wondering if anyone knew why the incredible is one of two phones supported by cyanogen that hasn't gotten the stable update? Does anyone have an idea of when it's going to be released?
Edit: It's released! on rom manager and cyanogenmod.com
Waiting also for stable 6.1 release.

Basically, koush is really busy with stuff for other projects (I heard ROM manager and some Windows Phone stuff were the primary culprits). But he said he would be working on it this weekend.
Either way, the latest Nightly build is plenty stable.

He seems to be pretty tied up with WM now.

Be careful and have fun.
Ok.. tried to flash with full wipe zip, clear dalvik cache. Flash was successful until it starts to reboot once I turned the WiFi on. And its stuck on bootloop. Seeing the prob, I flash back to my previous ROM. any thoughts?

Read the first thread of cm7 mate...
You should reboot first after the flash of rom...
Never turn on wifi at first reboot..
Always reboot 1x2x to make it as fresh as possible..

Thanks mate. Will try again tomorrow.

How to access the phone SD through PC? When i connect to PC, it just shows charging, USB debugging. The option to sync or access SD is not there.
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
Just touch in the notification "charging", the same way you do in sense...

Could someone with a stock Desire HD in UK please check their about phone page and post their software number? I'm trying to restore my phone to original, but I'm not able to find the stock ROM..
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
Their are various builds for the UK. As some were branded by the carrier while some were not. What carrier are you looking for?
I'm looking for the stock non-branded/unlocked ROM.

The sense 2.1 is 2.50.405
Here's link to the ruu http://www.filefactory.com/f/efa28fefafc4af9c/
Here it is in a pd98 http://www.multiupload.com/67WOK1U9AO
If you want the newer sense 3.0 the first link has it aswell. It will be 3.12.405
Thanks
But I already saw that, it's gingerbread. I'm looking for FroYo, is it 1.72.405.3? And any clue what's the difference between the two 1.72.405.3 RUUs?

yeah thats the froyo one. all the WWE version have the 405 number. as to the difference i dont know. They look the same to me. My question is why do you want to go back to froyo and not gingerbread
It's cuz I wanna reroot and do eng s-off before going to sense 3.0/GB, cuz I wanna flash a custom recovery with the original ROM.

Just and fyi the gb(sense 2.1) is rootable with the hackkit no downgrade needed, unless your on sense 3.0
With AAHK? I'll give it a go.

Playing with my wifes defy. Its rooted on stock rom. Looking for a GB rom with everything working for a green lens defy. Whats suggested. Everything i seem to read in my little time searching, is red lens or green lens without working camera. So everything has to work.

Thank for the info. Not real familiar with the defy. Going to give the 7.1 a try and see if she gets mad. LOL
Better take latest one from here. It are the builds of Epsylon. He's the (one of) the guy's who push everything to the official nightly's. Latest stable one is old and the latest one's are even more stable
Labsin is telling the best route. I have epsylon3's cm9 rom installed. His builds are great!

Going to be giving this a shot tonight.

Ok installed the latest nightly and there is no market app. Installed market from on line and it will not work. Now what. Ill have to restore backup if not a solution immediatly. Wife is not happy.

I have the fix for you:
Download the GAPPS for the ROM you use,
will probably be on the same thread.
Flash it in CMW!
Hey presto, working everything!
Hi all, my mom will be getting a new Droid 2 soon that she'll be using on a page plus prepaid plan and I just have a few questions. I know that there is a lot of information here of the forums but things change so often with development that I think I'll get a better answer if I just ask you experinced guys directly.
I'm just looking for the most stable ROM for her, and the best battery life. It doesn't have to be the newest and greatest, it just has to work when she needs it so that she doesn't get irritated with it.
Thanks in advance.
Just stick with stock if she's inexperienced.

Will stock run smooth enough with out any freezing?
It came today and it had 2.2, I think i'll update it to 2.3 though.
It works for the 95% of the users who don't get pissed off enough to come here and change it
.sbf to the second-to latest firmware. If you OTA, you'll end up with the latest, un-rootable update, making any future development impossible.

On your question about most stable Roms, Galnet MIUI 2.2.10 was the best I've used as far as being issueless. Just behind that would be CM9.
If you do decide to flash MIUI you'll probably want to install a different launcher for her as well if she's used to Android and not looking for a change. Otherwise just let her run with it and see how she likes it.
