Android Market - Free application - Downlaoding message (no apps downloaded) - Acer Iconia A500

I regsitered my Gmail account in Android Mrket.
I tried to download free application, but the downlaod start (Downloading) but it always stay in this state.
If I checked on Android web site with my account I can see the device A500 right registered and the Order say "Application download completed" but into A500 I cannot install any applcation.
If I used an Android mobile phone with the same Wifi connection and Android/Gmail account it works.

[eclair] Google Says: "You don't have a network connection."

I wiped and loaded an Eclair 2.1 Rom (Community Signed v1.7 from HTMedia).
Added my APN, and Browser is working fine, and most apps go online and mobile network is working great.
Problem is: I can't access "Market" because the Google-signup/signon part says "you don't have a network connection"
I tried with WiFi also. No good.
Problem also existed in Community-Signed v1.6 of the Android 2.1 Leaked Rom.
Thank you for your time

I also have the same issue with Android 2.1 ROM (Community Signed v1.8)... Any fix or help will be appreciated
It works perfectly for me if I reboot the phone during the initial Google setup after the phone boots for the first time after an update. The setup will resume and you will be able to connect to your Google account.
Hi, When I use a MOBILE NETWORK, I cannot access my Google Mail (Gmail HTC) and even Yahoo accounts (HTC mail), and also cannot access the Market (The password isn’t valid / re-enter your password)! But when Usage WiFi, everything works perfectly.
PS: With a MOBILE NETWORK, I can use normally the browser.

[Q] Rooted Fire with Market issue

Hi all,
I am hoping you can help me.
I have followed the instructions on this site and rooted my kindle.
Also I have installed Android market place again via instructions on this site.
I have a proper Googlemail account which I use to login and I can run the market fine, can see loads of apps.
If I want to purchase a free app, i click on it and get the option of download.
Click download, I get a pause and a box that just say "can't be downloaded due to error"
I have upgraded the Vebding file to 3.3.1 and I have checked its permissions
Any other ideas please as to why i cannot download from market.
Everything else works fine.
Regards
Ian
Bumping this: I am on the Galaxy Nexus and I am having the same issue.
Try setting your router to only use the g protocol if you have a b/g/n router.
update to new market, that might fix it and clear cache and data
is there a reason why some apps that show up on my droid x don't show up on the kindle? both have the newest market installed.
the market looks at your device and only shows apps that meet it's hardware/software requirements. this is to prevent you from buying something your device cant use.
Use Root Explorer or some file navigator and goto your SD card and delete the .android_secure folder.
Should be good to go after that.
I had this problem on my Droid charge and Kindle fire today and this resolved it.

Amazon Market wont log in on CM7 or ICS

Ok, so I've searched around and not seen this one. Everything works fine in my stock rooted ROM, but when I flash to CM7 (that's any derivative of like barebones, SKSK, or stock CM7) or one of the ICS Roms I can't log into the Amazon Market app. It says to "Please enter a valid email and or password", which I am doing.
I saw a thread on a different site that said that I had reached my device limit on Amazon so to log in on the computer and delete some devices off my registered kindle device list. I did this deleting all of them and it still wont let me register the Amazon app store in CM7 or ICS.
Any thoughts as to why this is?
Have you tried to unroot device by using Rootkeeper?
Sometimes Amazon apps (incl. market) not working with rooted devices.
I found it will only log on in ICS the first time if you use a wifi connection. If you try a data connection it doesnt seem to connect

Google account setup doesn't work - "can't establish a reliable connection to the android server"

Hi all,
My HD2 under (T-mobile version) stopped working with google services at all. I need it mainly for contact synchronization.
During the initial setup, when I type my google account login and password, I got an error message "can't establish a reliable connection to the android server". It won't let me create a new google account either - it says "account X is unavailable", although it is available from PC. If I skip this account info input, and try to do it later - I get the same error. I can log in successfully from the phone browser under the same credentials.
I tried different ROMs with android 2.3, 4.0, 4.4 (including firmware from tytung, that always worked in this phone before) - I am getting the same error.
Google says that Android 2.3.7 and older shouldn't work anymore:
Access your Google Account on Android 2.3.7 or lower - Android Help
To help protect your account's security, you can't sign in with your Google Account on an Android device with Android 2.3.7 or lower. If you perform any of the following actions on devices that run An
support.google.com
- that's ok, but I tried it with Android 4.x and got the same error.
I also tried:
- clean up the hosts file as I googled that it helped many people with this error;
- clean out dalvik cache;
- connect via VPN;
It did not help.
Can anyone who still has this phone with android please try to check, does google account setup work for you?
Thank you!
The last I used on it was Android & I think, or lolipop, I'm not sure, but yes I could of used the google services
