[Q] Gingerblur on official gingerbread? - Atrix 4G General

I looked around the forums and only found people who want to go from gingerblur to gingerbread but I just want the gingerblur icons and theme ON the official OTA version. Is this possible?

Install gingerbread and look for a theme

Any stock ROM mods?

Just wondering if there was any stock ROM mods? Like power control? Themeing?

As far as I can tell the best you can do with a Stock ROM is add small things like widgetsoid notification widgets or download themes for launchers. However, if you have senseHD you could download sense skins.
Thats kind of a oxymoron stock mod? Do you mean what can you do without root? Every rom is a modified stock rom. They are just all different degrees of modification. What do you want to do is the real question.

sure you can, but you have to be rooted. you can mess with any rom if you have the capability to edit the files you need to edit, but in order to do so, you need root access.

search is your friend: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957777&highlight=launcher+2
you are looking for launcher 2
I'd like the apk, not some zip that doesn't work. It really needs to be ripped from 2.3.4

The .apk file is in the zip. Just install that.

Not gonna happen right now. You'll just have to wait. The G2 isn't the easiest thing in the world to root in the first place, so its going to take a little time.
If you're ancy, just downgrade, and flash a pre-rooted stock OTA build.
Theres a way to root it already out for a while. Search cause that's what I used

I downloaded the rooted zip, did a backup, wiped and flashed. Couldn't have been easier.
