today suddenly i am unable to open my app folders (i.e eReading, games multimedia, social) all of them though i can open my apps..
i am geting this error
the application Acer content folders (process com.acer.app) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again.
i have tried closing and opening the tab.. hope i dont have to reset my tab.. but if i have to how do i backup my data...
Did you try wiping the cache and data first?
The app is called AppInApp if I'm not mistaken. Go to Applications/Manage Applications and click on All. Then find AppInApp and click on Clear data.
wow quick reply! i just came back to write that i solved the prob by clearing data.. but i saw u have already beaten me to it!

I haven't had the same problem but what I would do is clear market data (menu > settings > applications > manage applications > all > market > clear data / clear cache) and if that doesn't work I'd reflash gapps...
Of course I dunno if you wanna take my advice as I dont know the difference between clear data and clear cache BUT, what I can tell you is, if it's not working now what have you got to lose?
Don't think you should be flashing gapps on the liberated roms. Just clear data if that doesn't work the try reinstalling the rom after a data/cache wipe.

Good call, 1, I don't use nor have I ever used the liberated roms and 2, didn't think of that when i typed my reply LOL...thanks for the correction!
Reinstall the vending apk juss let it over write the one on there then reboot I had the same problem and it work for me.... Use something like rom manager or an explorer that lets you go to system>apps and find the vending apk its all I did n now it works perfect
POSTED FROM MY SUPER BOMB HTC ARIA!!!!!!!!
how do you reinstall that vending apk? cause the liberated rom doesn't have Rom manager. i only see Astro manager on the menu. please anyone show me how to reinstall the vending apk, thanks
i had almost the same issue, but i could browse the market, just couldnt download or look at my downloads.
the fix i did was, with Astro Manager, browse to the /system/app/vending.apk > then tap it and open App Manager, click uninstall, and it asked me to uninstall the updates. so i did so. it didnt remove market, just uninstalled whatever updated files, so i still had market.. then opened up market again and it worked fine.
btw im runnin the latest liberated aria as well.
I can access the Android Market, but it will not download any apps. It starts to download for half a second but then stops. I have used the "BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA GINGER 2.3.3 V5 " and "AmeriCanAndroid" ROMs and have the same result.
I have deleted cache and data from all the programs that start with Google and Market but I still cant download any apps. Any tips on what I can do to fix this?
Update to v 11 !!!

The ROM type is SD, not NAND.
i had the same problem. you have to move what ever apps you have stored on the "phone" to the sd card. then you'll be able to download new apps and place them back on the phone ie pandora...
i got the same problem this wil work for you.
go to ----> settings-applications-manage applications-all
google backup transport clear data
google partner setup clear data
google services framework clear data
market clear cache
than reboot

I have tried this and still have the same problem. I have encountered this same error for different SD ROMs like AmeriCanAndroid and RAFDROID HD. I have even flashed my stock ROM to Energy. My radio is 2.15.50.14. Any more tips? I will try the MUIU if I can't it fixed i guess.

maybe, go into the market and download sd maid free and clean the corpses hope that works
Did you back up and restore when you flashed the new rom? If so Did you try clearing data and cache in setting applications manage applications. Youtube
I had this problem and there was another youtube file floating around in some data section on my phone. I searched the phone for youtube with root explorer, deleted all files found, cleared Dalvik cache and then redownloaded from the market.
I actually fixed it.. I went into cwm and fixed permissons and that solved it.. thanks for the input anyway
Tapatalkin' it from my Epic 3g

No idea about that (not on CM9 though) - did you install it from the play store or did you a restore of a previous version? I'm not sure if there might be different versions for Gingerbread and ICS. If you did a restore you could make a backup and clear cache and data and restart. If that doesn't work I'd try to uninstall and install fresh from the playstore.

not sure what you mean by "flash my cache"... probably I didn't make it clear enough... I've been referring to the app's cache and data (go to "manage applications" / tab "all" / "WhatsApp" / "clear cache" and "clear data"
But a dalvik-cache wipe via recovery couldn't hurt, too.
I've been having this problem whenever I try to delete an entire album. I'm assuming it might be something I disabled through Package Disabler and I'm having trouble finding out which one it is. Does anyone know what packages affects this?

please describe your problem in more detail, are you getting any error while deleting the album?
As soon as I press the delete button, it'll show the progress bar for the folder and then immediately get a "Gallery stopped working" error.
Hi dear ,
Did you try to clear the Gallery app data from the settings and then try again to delete any album !?
Try it. It works in most common problem related with ' app stopped working '

i am sorry for late reply, there may be some basic things you can try that will solve this problem. go to application manager search gallery and clear cache, reboot your device, and if problem still not solved then try to clear cache and dalvik cache try to clear RAM with any good RAM cleaner application
Thanks for the help! Clearing the app data and cache fixed the crashes for me.
