Other key combinations I’ve found while I was groping for a way to hard reset from keyboard, which invoke some system screens. I’m not sure what they really are. Anyone knows?

Hard reset sequence: Press VoiceDial button + comms manager button + soft reset. You will get a screen with 3 colored bars; at this screen, press the D-Pad UP. (some other version will display a message saying to restore to factory default settings, press the 'Send' button. In this case, press your 'Send'/'Call' button).
seriously, please tell me.. where is the Dial Pad?

i need to delete this msg! i dont know where
I can't view the image (it gives me an error when I C&P the link) and I get the second version (the message with the 'press send' button), but I think the instruction means for you to press 'up' on the almost-D-shaped-if-you-squint-a-bit navigation button (located between the Send/Call button and the End Call button).
I'm not sure though, as I am no guru so hopefully someone else will come along and confirm this!
With regards to deleting the double post, I think you'll have to ask a mod to do it. Sometimes there's a delete option if you click the 'edit' button at the bottom of a post, but I can't see one when I try and edit my post, so maybe these forums have it disabled?

this screen has been up for 20 mins. Whats going on. who else has this issue. I may have lost signal during this time. What are my options
Just turn it off and on you hit volume down
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA Premium App
You entered download mode. Just hold the power button for a few seconds. Make sure you dont hold any vopume buttons down when you turn it on in the future.
Assuming you where not trying to flash anything, it seems you entered the download mode by accident.
Most devices have button sequences that can be used at startup to enter various parts of the bootloader. You entered the one that is used to flash new kernals and roms to the tab (Power + Vol Down). Nothing has happened or will happen to your tab in this screen unless you are connected to a computer and using software to flash.
The second screen comes when you turn on the device and hold the vol up key. This is known as recovery and can be used to do backups of your device as well as flash new roms (with custom recoveries.) However, you can totally bork (to take a word from Ganj) your tab from this screen, so be weary if you ever enter this mode by accident.
Hope this is helpful!

the same screen A:\
Let me clear things for me to be able to know if I can help you. When I ask about the screen info, what I meant was after you shut down the phone and then pressing volume down + power is supposed to take you in bootloader mode screen. We need to know the exact output of that screen to determine the phone model.
In any other case , do you have information of the original hboot, radio, etc, (bootloader screen) of your phone?
1.) Remove and Reinsert the Phone Battery.
2.) The phone, press the power button.
3.) Seeing the light (sony ericsson logo on black background before you). Press and hold first the WINDOWS button on the phone and then the O button. Keep pressing the buttons down. This will take you to the Boot Configuration Menu.

4.) Now press the W button once. Whether Force clean boot Yes.
5.) To continue, press Windows.

Note: After completion of the, note that the first opening of the phone will take longer.
If the phone still works
If the phone still works, it is much easier to click Start > Settings > System and restore the factory defaults there.

This procedure is not working for me. Any other?
Dear friends,
I'm having and issue with my Bosion HU. I can't tell what model/type it is exactly. Please take a look on the photos.
From some time I was struggling with not working left knob (potentiometer only - pressing the button was working fine).
After much effort - replacing whole PCB board with that knob, through installing updates - nothing worked.
Today I wanted to do hard reset from recovery mode, but surprise was waiting for me... I was trying some combinations of power button and RST button to enter recovery mode and it came into bootloop...
Can you help find a way to manually enter recovery mode with this unit ?
