afaik, this flash player is for your browser, you probably wont be able to play swf files (you can try it though and see how that goes)

Download SWF Player from market.

i remember i just searched google play and used the link with most users.

dowload Dolphin browser from Google play that one has a flash player :good:
dolphin and UC browsers are reliable with flash not opera

I think adobe flash only works with UC Browser in Galaxy Y.
Though I have not tested yet!
From Play Store you cannot get any of those.
You need to find adobe flash apk here and ucbrowser from anywhere else.

you can flash Repencis 3.5 or Ultimatesonic rom, it's can install flash player and use with stock browser. You can play flash game, too.

Yes, certainly you can play flash videos with U.S.R Rom.
I am using it. I can play flash videos in default browser from Santabanta! Even in Fullscreen Mode!!

Flash is working fine for me using Dolphin HD. I'm using Chobits Digitalis v2.0 with one of Mikstev's kernels with init.d support for Droidwall. Was playing Flash games online with it this morning I used one of the tutorials in the Themes & Apps section.

You can sideload a flash APK, and just install Firefox.
Works perfectly fine

The older version does. The newer updated one no longer supports it. The developers actively removed the functionality.
Yeah I'm using dolphin browser now but no flash is supported. You guys know any apps from the market that does the job that I missed?

the android browser(not chrome) thats also found in aosp works great on the nexus 7, and plays well with flash. it might even be the fastest jelly bean browser.

Please help me with this, my only problem is that i cant download thru wifi in browsers but can download apps from google play and can even watch utube vids, but in my mobile internet theres no problem like that! please someone help get rid of this... i need wifi downloads....

Its not working, i already try it... even flashing rom thru odin, still cant download thru wifi, even pictures from google with less than 1mb, failed to download, any idea from what im suffering?

Try other browsers like maxthon dolphin, dont delete downloadprovider.apk and downloadproviderui.apk and also try reformatting ur sd card using sd card association sd formatter

Those are in system/app and when u install a rom they get installed but if u delete them downloads stop working

its still there, heres the wierd thing:
in mobile data i can download in browsers, but via wifi, not working, it always failed once i tick the download button..

should be able to simply install the apk and be good to go, but i dont use the stock browser because of all the other issues it has...
your best bet is to download one that works and has more features like text reflow
As shocking it might sound it is true, i have accidently discovered it yesterday. It is a bit wonky, i had few issues playing some videos on full screen but generally it works just as on 4.0+.
You dont need hacked flash player.
1. Download and install latest Firefox: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.firefox&hl=en
2. Download latest official Flash Player .apk and install it: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/...roid/11.1.115.81/install_flash_player_ics.apk
3. Go to Firefox Settings/Customize/Display/Plugins and choose enabled.
4. Start Flash Player and choose Firefox as default browser
4. Enjoy Flash content on Android 5.0
You need Firefox, it didn't worked for me on Chrome and Dolphin. :good:

The question is: why google should block it? It's a normal program like others..
If you want it you install it, otherwise peace.
Besides, some content providers just use flash for videos.. regardless of the existence of html5
One possible reason could be stoppage of support for security updates in Android devices from Adobe.
Agreed flash just another app but popular apps are always targeted.
