Aah, the problem is that there so many Elelinux, Pulser, RaduG, JieeHD and many more. The reason the Hero is such an amazing phone is not the specs or design, but all the awesome developers who keep on getting the newest software on our phones. I will like to give a special thank to Elelinux, for the taking the job on cm7, Erasmux, for flykernel, which I still think is the best kernel foranything but salsasense, Pulser, for froydvillain which was my daily Rom in many months (!) and riemer and JieeHDs work on the new and experimental builds

Thanks devs

I can't post in the dev forums yet, but I wanted to give the CDMA Hero devs a big shout out for all the work they put in to it. I just upgraded away from my Hero to a Evo Shift, but if it wasn't for the guys on the CM team and guys like jaybob I wouldn't have lasted this long with my Hero. Bringing Froyo, Gingerbread and all the latest kernels to our poor neglected devices makes you guys tops in my book.
Thanks for everything you do and for giving the Hero the lease on life that HTC and Sprint never did. You guys rock!
Cheers to that

Hell yeah! Love the developers over here.
couldnt agree more. its amazing what these guys are doing. team hydra and all the hard work porting sense 3.5 to our heros is outstanding. thanks guys.
Thank you to the users! Without you guys we wouldn't have the motivation to create such work!

Definitely !!!!! Big thanks !!!!! I have flashed a ton of Roms and it was like a new phone every time !!!! Thanks again !
Same feelings here. Thank you to this whole Hero CDMA community for their contributions. There is definitely a lot of pride and satisfaction in being a part of such a great group of users and devs.
I've been using my Hero for nearly 2 full years now, and even though I'm due for an upgrade in 1 more month, I am not in a huge rush to go switch out because of how happy I've been with the Hero for so long.
thank you.

---((((( Grateful message for all DEV here )))))---

in the end of 2011 year just want to thank all dev here for
there effort and time that they spend to make us more happy with our DHD
and thanks very much for anyone support them even if pressing thanks button.
thnx for all and really wish to them more success and good luck.
+1, Happy new year to all on the DHD thread, and all at Xda.
Thanks for feeding a flash-a-holic over the past year.
Cheers
Yeah I'd like to say a big thankyou as well, my phone experience has been much better with roms I've tried out this year, I am becoming a romaholic though LOL, flashing all the time!
With the Desire, there weren't THAT many ROMs to choose from, and even so, I was a flash-a-holic... Now, with the DHD, I see there are plenty of ROMs... I hope I'll find a cure soon...
Thank you for keeping the DHD alive. If it wouldn't have been for the devs, I believe at least 50% of us would have been sentenced to death for inflicting painfully headbangs on our phones...
Wish you also a Happy New Year Celebrate, beautiful ..
Greetings, Chriss
Here here, thanks to all devs who offer their time and effort to support a dedicated userbase of fans/enthusiests. And to the users who offer constructive feedback to the devs too, they do have a useful role to fill..
haapy new year guys
Happy new year to all of you

Goes from me also, Happy New Year guys and many thanks for all your hard work, determination and dedication to the android platform and our devices in particular long may it continue for another year. My particular thanks go to:
LeeDrOiD for his amazing ROM being my first lol and everyone associated with helping him and the regular thread contributors.
The ARHD team and their recognised userbase for all of their help and support.
The RCMix3D team for their great efforts to port Sense 3.5 and for their great kernels that work so well with ARHD.
koush and madmaxx for Rom Manager/CWM and 4EXT/4EXT Recovery Control and everyone involved with theming the latter and releasing Recovery Touch.
Hope you acheive all your goals in and out of the community for the new year. We just wouldn't survive without you. Three Cheers Hip Hip....
I just changed my phone for a Motorola RAZR
but my experience with my DHD in 1 year are awesome, not just beacause the phone is good, but with all of ROMs created and optimised all
thank a lot and Thanks again

Dedicated to our galactic twins

Hi ,
Frndz...
This is a suggesstion to our great great devs...
When I was reading post of one of our dev, he asked for suggestions for apps in a new rom
So, I'm just thinking that, why our twins (3g and aplollo) should not have a perfect rom!
This is just a suggestion to all our great developers to make a SUPER ROM besides there own roms...
I'm just requesting all devs to work together and take suggestions from all people and make a SUPER G3 ROM for us...
I'm just saying, besides their own rom, make a rom that has all needs from the users! With a super long lasting battery and all useful great apps...
I'm requesting all users to post the dev ls to make a super rom...
G3 rocks
from flame of the PHOENIX
Aren't they in all roms? Just you g3mod and either stock or kyrillos and it'll feel super indeed.

That really isn t required. All developers are doing great. And they help out each other. There are good ROMs for the G3.
Heard about Project Apocalypse?? It was a project in which all developers were working on a single ROM. And if you haven t heard about Project Apocalypse, please do so and do some research and find out why it didn t work out.

**THANKS to the Devs!!!**

This is a post to say thanks to the Devs, who have over the years, created masterpieces, and kept our Galaxy S phones alive for many years to come, these devs work for nothing (well, maybe a donation or two), and have basically turned us all into flash-a-holics!!!!
So leave your messages for the devs below........
THANKS !

New Android ROM Team

I am new to xda-developers but I am an experienced ROM developer. I want to put together a team of modders. If anyone is interested please tell me!

You should start by telling what kind of device you have...

what kind of devices? i'm working with a couple motorolas and htc's but i'm sure plenty of testers can be found and can expand to many other devices. i'll be honest. I have built several ROMs from source and have TONS of saved mods and tweaks which i can refer to but I'm not good at working with interface. btw I am on the official team for SwiftLinux, so I have plenty of Linux experience, but tbh one again I won't be the BEST asset to the team but with guidance I have been looking for this for a long time and I am willing to do anything to get on a with some expereinced ROM builders to show me what I don't know, and to add my time (which is about 18 hrs a day) to helping put out great ROMs. I know how to build from source, I know how to port, I can use kitchen, I have experience pretty much everywhere, the only place I've really failed is UI mods.

Hi lemonoid
if you wanted to help us impoverished guys over on Tablet Republic with ROM development for the i.MX6 quad core Sanei N10 tablet it would be fantastic.
It's still only ICS but we were hoping for JB and a dual boot version with Ubuntu like the upcoming DaVinci Nibbio which is being released mid March.
Sorry if this is out of line but we need all the experienced help we can get as far as ROM development is concerned.
Thanks
Not out of line at all. I think all ROM development is great!

We could use new devs for the HTC desire, we don't have good working camera in android 4.x or kernel 3.. If you are interested, the desire community will be thankful..
Greetz
The epic 4g touch section has a bunch of great devs. But we have lost a few. Im sure they wouldnt mind more help.
Since the losses, i think they've been having trouble with a few different things. We have great 4.2.2 roms, but no official samsung releases. For some reason, they cannot get JB modems to work. No CWM touch recoveries, and a few bugs that havent been solved for a while.
Just giving you options.
