Hi to all,
I have a question.
We are using Exchange 2010 that requires a certificate. How can I import this in the mail client? I found an other app: Touchdown that allows to add the certificate. But I can't get this working with the native google email app.
I have already installed the certificate file throug:
Settings -> Location&Security -> Install certificate
But this is not working?
Can somebody please explain this to me? Using Touchdown is not a option (company with 100 emloyees...cost of licencing )
Export your PEM certificate to mycert.cer and rename it to mycert.crt!
Then copy it to root of your sdcard and import it.

I would like to use my Xoom to do stuff for work. However, we use a custom self signed certificate to gain access to any of our webpages. Normally we install them manually in our browser on our PC's and I am trying to do the same thing on my tablet.
Is there either a browser for android that allows you to add your own SSL certificates ( I have tried just about everyone I can find, opera, firefox, dolphin, skyfire) but none give me that functionality.
Or
Do I need to install the certificate on the device. I have found an area in which I can install the certificate Settings>Location & Security> Credential Storage>install from USB storage. However when I try to access any of the pages, I do not believe that the browser is using the custom SSL I have installed.
Any ideas or tips? Thanks.
When you say self signed cert, do you mean you have your own CA that you are using in your enterprise? If so, you'll need to install the self signed cert on the device as well as the root CA's cert that you used to sign the cert.

This makes sense.
Thanks for the help.
I installed both the CA that was used to sign the certificate and the actual public key itself however still no avail.
I am still getting a generic error is just stating that it cannot establish a secure connection. The problem is I cannot guarantee that the browser is actually trying to use the cert or not. I would imagine I would be prompted for which to use or to confirm but never have received that.
Looking at the logging on the server I see no error messages. Our system is designed to ask for this SSL for identification and it seems as though the tablet is saying "crap....see ya".
I don't know if it is user error or lack functionality.
Excuse my ignorance.

Wouldn't you remove it in the VPN configuration?
Hi,
I'm looking a way to sync my contact via CardDav (No Outlook, No iCloud, No Gmail)
It seems the FFOS Dev team is not working on despite a lot of users need it
As no CardDav option in FFOS I searched the web and found : Firefox OS Assistant
FFOS 1.3 / Firefox 32.0 / App : PC Sync (Market Place) / Add-on : Firefox OS Assistant 1.3.3 (from Chinese branch of Mozilla)
at first vcf import does not work for me
but after typing one by one each contacts, import / export works ! (FFOS 1.3 only)
and it is not with 1.4 / 2.0
How do you sync your contacts those using FFOS 2.0+ ?
or a way to backup/restore via adb ?
edit I found an old fashion way Mozilla wiki "Tips &Tricks"
Importing Contacts via Device (manually)
First, export your contacts in your old phone to the SIM card.
Some phones have this feature built-in, check your Contacts app or phone settings.
Android: To export Google contacts onto a SIM card (which Android does not do by default), install the free app Contact2Sim. Open the app, select the phone, and in the options menu choose "Copy missing to SIM".
& I will try : https://wiki.mozilla.org/B2G/QA/Tip...acts.2C_dial_data.2C_sms.2C_and_media_via_USB
Hi all,
which mail program used ??
I'm looking for a way to install a K-9 mail because i can't install!
Do you have suggestions ?
Thanks guys!
I've installed CM12.1 temporarily and extracted the Email.apk and Exchange2.apk. Works fine with OxygenOS after uninstalling the preinstalled Exchange Services (system app, so root access needed).
Using AquaMail for a long time now, works great on Oxygen too, including Exchange support. It has a paid version though if you want to use more than four Mail accounts.
Tried em all..Boxer on CM is great, but on Oxygen, Nine is the way to go imo

No, normal install by launching the apk (having enabled 'Unknown sources' in security settings).
Ok THX.
My absolute favorite mail is Type Mail, or the other version with a different name, icon and notification: Blue Mail. Exact same app, just those aesthetic slightly differences.
It's free in the app store and can handle multiple accounts and has a dark mode with some theme options. Very nice.

Hi, how to install stock email? I can set up your email application. But I can not install the Exchange services.
