hi every one
finally I could get android into my Hd2 thanks to serjio76. this is after Ive tried 2 different issues with failure. now the question is that all android issues are installed and loaded from SD card which make the system some what slower than WM 6.5. can any one develop and android which install and work directly from main memory of phone itself but not SD card. for example by bootloader installation method. that would be the perfect android for my openion
for all developers please help me with this problem

Any of them threads are from the "NAND" development. You really should read before you open a full new thread.

to make things clear... you can run winmo 6.5 which comes initially with your HD2 and put android on your SD card and load it from there, or you replace winmo with MAGldr and flash an android NAND to your HD2. Also, you can flash WM7 now to your HD2 with MAGldr... and and and...
Seems like you haven't looked around at all... so start reading!

If we don't understand then how can we help? From what you've written, it seems to me that you have Android on SD card but you want to remove Windows and have Android on your phone instead (not the SD).
Is this correct?
If it is then you have had your answer.

If this is not correct then you need to explain again, as we obviously don't understand.

New HD2 User!

Hey guys, so i just bought my hd2 from a guy locally, he gave me the phone with android 2.3.3 and ultimate droid rom, and I guess its running off NAND because theres no SD Card in it and it says NAND while booting up. Basically I want to have Windows mobile 7, and android dual booting, but off my SD card.
Can someone tell me the process I have to go through to do this?

As long as you have WP7, WM6.5 or Android via MAGLDR you can dual boot. For WM6.5 copy files to SD and run CLRCAD and HARET, for Android NAND place the SD build (MAGLDR version) on SD card and then choose go to services>choose AD SD Dir>folder with files. For WP7 it is a different case I think and you will need to see a different tutorial in the WP7 section.

Firstly you'll need to make 2 separate partitions on your sd-card.
because WP7 uses a special way to utilizes the sd card with the Nand as if it was 1 partition
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1236027 use that thread to install WP7, look in the second post for links and instructions.
once you did that go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957652
and follow the instructions that are posted somewhere in the 1st post.
If you did it you can use magldr to choose whether you want WP7 or Sd-Android to boot..
Thanks allot mate... ♥

Help on transition from WP7 to Android

Sorry for the noobish post but Im really having a hard time finding a post to help with this. I currently Have WP7 on my htc hd2 and as of seeing xylographs rom, paranoid android http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1662881 . I really want to switch to android on my htc hd2. But unfortunently I know that it is not as easy as just installing CWM and flashing. Any help with the steps needed to switch from WP7 to xylography rom?
-Thanks

You're right, it's not as easy as installing CWM and flashing. It's as easy as installing CWM, formatting your SD card ( so that it isn't in WP7 formatting any more) then flashing
I don't know how exactly that is done but from what I've heard an old Nokia should do the trick.

Yes to the question with the SD card. Also yes you must install 6.5 first then use the hd2 toolkit to installed hspl and install either clk or mgdlr and then you can flash the ROM via recovery

And to revert to 6.5, I would just flash a build from the T-mobile website correct?

Don't post false information please.
@OP Yes, you can just use a different SD card but there certainly is no need to flash to WinMo 6.5. Just follow this guide, you already have all of the prerequisites.

Hi hegemytouch, yes it does, there are some roms that are tmous/eu specific, it should be stated in the rom's first post. roms are found in the development section of the relevent OS.
Check out dxdy's tutorial here http://www.mediafire.com/download/mmb4cfcnfudzhpn/ROM+Install+Tutorial+v2.5.pdf it has links to videos for dual booting wp7 and android.

Actually I just bought an had and it's shipping with WP7.8...how do I go about flashing and android NAND rom into it...preferably android 4.2 and up on a tmobile HD variant. Thanks in advance.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So if it has wp7.8 on it, you already have magldr and hspl 2.08.
So it is a matter of which type of installation you want, nand or data-on-ext. I would suggest full nand install for now (no need to put ext partition on card)
First backup your wp7.8 stuff if you have used it using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010135 and Zune
next use minitool http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html to increase the 200mb fat16 partition on your sdcard to the full extent of the card and format to fat32 (primary partition). You need a card reader for this.
Next choose a rom from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/hd2-android/nand-dev
put the rom .zip on the sd card and then use magldr recovery to flash the rom to nand, following the rom's instructions.
These are the basic steps, you have a bit of a learning curve ahead. Good Luck
