Not able to send or receive txt

For some reason, I am unable to send / receive txt messages after fixing permissions on my Aria, any idea what could have broken ?

[Q] Only symbols while sending long text on EB01

Hi everyone,
This is my first post to XDA so lets see how this goes!
about a week or so ago i flashed DL30 on my fascinate which caused text messages longer then 160 characters to be sent as only symbols if sent through a third party text app like ChompSMS. I thought it mightve been a DL30 flaw but now i flashed to EB01 and i still have the same issue. Through the normal messaging app i can send long texts perfectly but i prefer Chomp. I even did an odin restore but it still isnt fixed!
Anyone have any suggestions?

Im having the same issue with chomp, there isnt a way to make it not split them.

Yeah it used to happen to me when I would send more than 128 through aim on any phone I had in the past. Had something to do with encoding. Perhaps send the chomp developer a note?

Group Messaging broken?

I'm currently in a group message with two people, and while I am able to see both replies, the names aren't differentiated between causing it to seem as if one person is sending all of the messages. Anyone else having this issue? I'm currently using Textra and will go back to the stock messaging app to see if that fixes it.

Or try hangouts as default sms

I use Hangouts with group MMS enabled and it works fine.

[Q] SMS delivery state bug

Hey,
how come using the stock app my sms get always sent but not marked as such, however, using AirDroid the delivery/sending report ist correct? In the attached screenshot you can see my messages sent by stock app and AirDroid. From top to bottom:
1. message sent by AirDroid - while sending it says "SENDING...", then displays timespamp of successfully sent sms
2. message sent by stock app - expected same behaviour as 1, recipient successfully gets sms but stuck at "SENDIND..."
3. like message 2, this time option "Delivery reports (Request a delivery report for each message that you send)" is set under settings
I'm running the latest nightly on a n7100, however this problem persists since CM10 or even longer ago. I know, delivery reports are the carrier's job, but the fact sending sms via AirDroid behaves correctly states out it's an app problem, doesn't it?
Can anybody confirm this behaviour? Any help is appreciated!

Messages not sent

I have two nexus 4's one running CM11 and the other rastakat and both have begun to show constantly the error "message not sent" nothing on the phones has changed both use T-Mobile. The text messaging app and the messages still get sent with this notification error. I've tried alternate SMS apps and also wiping the cache for the MMS.apk.
Any ideas guys?

Check your APN settings to make sure you have correct settings. Search t-mobile APN setings if you are unsure
