I took this information from the info the phone version of the basic band ... I hope it's right

I'd probably try re flashing the radio first,
Sent from my HTC HD2

but this radio isn't good?? with the reflashing of the radio i lose the data file in the sd and the software installed?

No, flashing a Raido shouldn't affect your NAND nor your SD-CARD.

yes, but a radii flashing in the nand don't delete the actual rom nand instal? and for reinstall a rom.the sd don't necessity a format?but the radio flashing are the solution of problem?? where is the radio version reccomended ???

There is none recommend really its trial and error depend on you network location device Rom etc...... try them all flashing a radio just flashes a radio everything else stays, read the Leo_radio thread first

Major problems with Radio need advice

Ok, I just picked up this phone and am having major problems with the Radio reception.
Peoples phone calls either go straight into my voicemail, or I receive the call put reception is broken, I can hear a word or two every few seconds, and the other person cannot hear anything.
I'm on Rogers in Canada, anyone using this phone in Canada or on Rogers can advise which radio rom to use? I have flashed at least 6 already, even the Murata one and still no success... any help or suggestions would be great.
Just flashed the original back WWE_3.13.405.0_radio_sign_25.85.30.07_1.59.42.15_Ship.exe and its a tiny bit better, where it doesnt go straight to voice mail, but reception is horrid still, inaudible.
try flashing radio 1.59.44.02... then hard reset see if that helps
Hi Lokosis,
Your signature does not give an idea of which ROM you are using. However how's the reception on your other phone (elfin)? Are you using it on the same network? Since you have already used 1.59.44.02; try going back to 1.60 ROM and a Murata Radio.
Hi 02xda2, well I'm using the PDAVIET Rom, which is 3.18.457.46, which I thought I had in my signature. The reception on my Elfin is 100% and have never had a problem, but when using the same sim card in the Polaris I'm having those major issues. The Polaris is CID/SIM unlocked already using Oli's HardSPL. I'll try flashing the 1.60 right now with the Murata and reply with results.

That's actually the first Radio I had installed, and had no luck at all with it.
UPDATE #1: Just tried the with PDAVIET V30 CE OS 5.2.20748 (Build 20748.1.4.0) along with the Murata 1.58.21.23 Radio, same problems as mentioned before. I'm also going through Settings>Phone>Band and changing it to GSM, but still the problems remain.. any suggestions?
UPDATE #2: I'v flashed the RUU_Polaris_HTC_RUS_1.25.411.1_radio_sign_25.65.30.04_1.58.21.23_polaris_murata_Ship.exe rom as suggested in another thread, and managed to get perfect sound received, and decent sent. Unfortunately I can't read Russian, so I managed to get the RUU_Polaris_HTC_WWE_1.25.405.1_radio_sign_25.65.30.04_1.58.21.23_Ship.exe which is the WWE counterpart to the RUS version, tried it with the stock Radio and no luck, flashed the Murato Radio onto the WWE and it was back to horrible.
UPDATE #3: So the only solution right now is the RUS rom, but I can't function with that as I don't read Russian. So running the HTC RUS update with radio, then flashing a new WWE rom without radio on top will work. Also atl4ntys's suggestions (below) most likely is worthy of a shot as well .
This phone being a bit aged and maybe out of warranty, how is HTC with their warranties/repairs?
hey Lokosis, have u tried c_shekhar's rom? its extremely stable, its wwe and also includes radio. u find the link in my signature. if the radio that comes with it doesn't do the job 4u then upgrade to the latest 1.58 available: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=479306
If still bad signal then the only thing I can say is to falsh the original spl rom and radio and send it in for repair.
PS: Make sure u flash without the micro sd card in it and hard reset as soon as u see the config screen after u flash. good luck!

In this case the person had locked HTC Polaris and he couldn't do unlock
Also it was figured out that to do downgrade is possible by flashing a specific radio version. But this is not so scary.
I want to extract only radio ROM, flashing him and check the quality of work in the 3G network and GPS, whether it is better or worse than 1.65.30.09 on the divices that are already unlocked...

Did you flash the OS PTB entirely or only radio rom?
What quality of 3G / GSM / GPS ?
whole
3g,gps,gsm quality high
Hi All
The 3rd day of a hard work including the 3G-network and so far everything is okay.
HTC Cruise became SIGNIFICANTLY economic with this radio.
In the navigation mode iGO8.3.4.142975 while using the phone (incoming and outcoming calls),
the internet and without putting it on the charger, HTC Cruise works about 3-4 hours
(comparing to 1-2 hours of radio 1.65.30.09).
is it on pola100 or pola200?

On both.
Difference between POLA 100 and POLA 200 is in little not important technical detail.
Pola100 is HTC Polaris
Pola200 is o2 XDA Orbit II.
You can flash ROMs made for the Cruise (pola 100) with no problems.
not so good..speaker ouput not so good. alot of noise. reverting back to .65.30.

Worked in 2G or 3G network?
You did hard reset after flashig new radio ROM?
It's strogly recommended to do!!
Most peoples reported good work in 3G and 2G network, without serious troubles.
And same significant saving battery power.
For me everything is working perfectly, signal is good. Flashed it with custom RUU over pcar extreme rom, without hard reset. I need time to see if battery life is better. Thanks for posting this radio!

Ok, but, for best results recommended make hard reset _after flashing radio ROM_1.65.38.14.
Especially if the previous version of the radio was 1.58, 1.59, 1,64.
Many times in this convinced.
i am using salvy's rom. hard reset. look the speaker volume back to normal again. thanks
Hi,
I have used this radio for the past few days. The battery life it seems is much lesser than 1.59.46.12 that I was using. It drains if you use WI-FI or GPS. Can anyone suggest radios which have proven battery life enhancement.
Regards,
Prem

Hey guys ,
I reepacked the updater for the latest radio 1.65.38.14 (for me it seemed not to enter bootloader and crashed when i used the files attached before )
So now it is working properly !!! with good results ...
I also recomand the Megan ROM(salvy's rom) -- with the proper flashing procedure it is the fastest wm 6.5 i have seen yet (and not weird looking)!!!
Good work Rocket. The updated radio worked fine for me. Was facing the same issue.
Thanks guys both for original and update

hd2 radio version?

i recently switch to radio 2.15 from 2.10 and im still having network connection issues... little to no reception while everyone else on tmo *which im on* has atleast 3 bars should i have a specific radio for my region or is it rom dependant? im running i believe pure droid 1.7 gingerbread 2.3.2 and help is appreciated
trial and error.
is it possible to check radio version in android, as well as to change/update it?
I wonder if my radio version could be the source of my gps woes..
Maybe just check what the chef of your rom suggests.. that mostly helps. Or than try some just on your own to figgure out which is best for you..;-)
remeber andrew the rom your using usually has a specific radio so check the first page of the rom thread and the dev will usually tell you what radio , cwm , magldr you need for any given rom

Radio Question - HD2 Telstra T9193

Ok I looked a bit around and could not find a clear answer to my question so here it goes.
I have the HD2 Telstra T9193 and I want to update it with the best in Radio and ROM, so I started to look around for info, I read the:
FAQ FOR FLASHING HTC HD2 (LEO)
Graphical Questions & Answers: flashing ROM & HSPL
But now I have a question that came to my mind. I bought the T9193 because the frequency it uses is similar to what we use here in Brasil, diferent from the rest of the world, so installing a radio that works nice on most HD2 may cause problems with my T9193? I wonder that since the frequencies are diferent the radio might be not configured to use them, or perhaps this have nothing to do with the radio and will not make any diference.
What you think about this?
What radio should I install? Any suggestions?
How do I know wich radio is best for me? I should stay with the suggested radio for each rom or I can try with the latest and change it if I have problems?
Thank you very much for the help.
Felipe

Correct, radio has no effect on the frequencies.
Most people find 2.10.50. or higher work fine, with 2.11.50 and 2.15.50 seemingly most popular.
I'm using radio 2.14.50 on my T9193, works fine
BUT: please remember that one must 1st flash the radio ROM and then 2nd, flash the main ROM of your choice. If you flash the radio ROM 2nd (like a simple "update"), the various radio elements will do strange and annoying things

How to update the Radio?

Hello people i downloaded yesterday this SD Android Rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957652
Then i tried this... i started usually the clrad.exe and then the Haret.exe....
Then i came to a blackscreen with a small white text on the left corner of the Disply... i waited and waited and nothing happended....
I tried this more ten 10 Times bu it dont works....
Then i found out that i have to flash my Radio...
My actually Rom is : 2.05.51.05_2
I read on the internet that i have to install first HSPL and then i can flash my Radio..?Right?
And is it dangerous?
But i do not know wich HSPL or Radio i should take, to make running my HTC HD2 Android...
Please can you help me?
Can you give me the link to HSPL and Radio Rom please...
My SPL is 1.42.0000... and so on
I found that there is a hspl and hspl2 3, and 4... wich should i take?
Sorry for my verry bad english...
Greetings from Austria
You can use hspl 2, 3 or 4, makes no difference. For me, I would use hspl2 and select "2.08.hspl" and then flash radio 2.15.50.
and is it safe or dangerous?
can i brick my phone?
can i use then android rom on myphone if i install the spl that you mentioned?
Bumppppppppppp
Safe (always some risk with flashing) but the "wrong radio" bricks you have read about don't affect you, that's tmous only.
as for installing android, assuming you mean nand androud, it will ONLY install on that spl (2.08.hspl)
radio !!
the tmous version can be bricked by a wrong rom probably the .51 ones !!!
but the radio 2.15.50.14 is the latest and a stable radio for both tmous and eu/asian models !!
also u might want to flash the radio depending on your country for receiving better network and signal strength as different radios have different reviews !!
happy flashing ! !!
so i should flash this radio : 2.15.50.14??
what is tmous?
im living in austria...
Yep, that one will do fine.
Tmous = t mobile us, red end key, says T-Mobile under earpiece. All other hd2 are "regular" with white keys.
