Help please.Sms delivery error - Galaxy S I9000 General

Help please.I didn't have this problem before.i i am on xxkb3 f.m..Sometimes when i send sms despite the delivery report i see force close.and network coverage just disappears.after 3-4 seconds network coverage restores.help to solve this please...

reflash ur firmware or check for viruses.it would be recomended to flash and repost it here

exactly appears this:The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again....

and i scanned it via antivirus of the PC.no viruses founded.

Try this...if you didn't hard reset after xxkb3 then hard reset the phone. If you did then try the following:
take backup of messages
Go to settings, applications, manage applications, go to all, open messaging, force stop and clear data.
Don't restore the messages and try
If this fails boot into recovery and wipe cache, reboot and again clear data for messaging if exists

I don't actually get the problem here... But if you want to clear app data then go to settings - applications and open the list of your installed apps and choose the app you want and there is a button to clear app data/cache if there is any. If you want to get rid of general update notifications just uncheck the box from market settings.
Still why won't you just update them?
Boot to recovery and wipe cache and davlik cache.

It's kinda difficult to wipe all app data without wiping the apps themselves. If you do factory reset, you will wipe all of your apps.
If I were you, I would go for flash FULL-WIPE.zip + flash full ROM + manually installing all apps again.

Help required, unable to uninstall apps or download from play store

Could this be caused by changing the transitions. Setting. In developer options because when I try to change it back to default.settings crashes
Please help
Please provide more information on what rom you're using, what os version you are on, and under what conditions it is crashing.
With the information you have provided:
Try going to settings>apps>play store
Then delete data and cache.
Now try opening the play store.
Cheers!

ICS official German. Rom
Chrome beta is also not working.
Can't clear cache as that is not showing.
Also some apps when I click on them they say app isn't installed
if the apps are not downloading then go into manage apps>all apps and clear all the data of all apps who have google in their name and also clear the data of play store

I've just read that even wiping cache can cause superbrick under ics, so safest method would be to install Speedmod kernel, then wipe cache and dalvik.
You won't lose anything but it may take longer to reboot as it rebuilds the cache, this is normal.

I had a problem downloading apps over 3g..
Error message after every attempt. The answer was to create a new apn in the access point names menu for some reason the over the air provisioning created a wap apn instead of a regular internet one.....if that helps anyone.

Sorry then, I'm unsure how to help. One thing I've read is that someone's exchange account settings were causing conflict, and installing a third party email app somehow corrected Google play sync. Don't know if that fits.

Hi I had a similar problem with using Google play store a couple of days ago.
Got error message [DF-BPA-09] everytime I tried to download, purchase or uninstall apps. Its a know issue at Google.
Try this:
Go to settings-applications-all.
Then scroll down to Google Services Framework and clear data.
Re boot phone.
Hope this helps.
John.

New problem with phone..

My LG-E612G was restored but had something worrying saying ".android_secure.img not found! Skipping restore of .android_secure.img!"
I then just shrugged it off, but when I rebooted it and got to my unlock screen, it powers off.
I already did a full wipe and restore. Now what?

I think that means there is no file for apps on external memory, don't worry, our phones don't support that.
After a restore over time (i mean, restore a back-up from a month ago) you have to wipe cahce & dalvik cache after restore
Try it

Even one on the 4th of September?
EDIT: Tried it. The only thing different from the boot up was that it said "Android is Upgrading: Optimizing applications 33 of 43"

Can't get into emergency mode. I'm screwed. Today is the day I had to use it.
When I return, I hope someone will have replied. :crying:
You'll get into recovery mode if you Connect your phone To the PC without battery while you press the vol. Down key. than you can restore it With kdz or LG Software update tool.

Thank you! I was FINALLY able to get into Download mode.
Thank you very much!
Right now it is in Download mode, and it is flashing.
Repeated errors.
Keep getting errors whenever I try to enter apps.
EDIT: Tried going into Recovery Mode, factory reseted my phone. That seems to have done the trick.

[Q] Which kind of hard reset ?

Hi,
I took the s4 of my father. I have seen he has never update this one.
So i have done all updates OTA one after one (like 6 or 7 :silly.
Since that, the battery life seems to be horrible !
So i was thinking to hard reset and install all again properly.
The question :
In my case, what's better?
- hard reset by settings in the S4
or
- by recovery (if yes, with cache partition?) ?
Thanks

I would prefer recovery over settings..
Press Volume up+centre button+power button
Select data wipe by volume down
Press power button
But before doing all this, do backup everything in your extsdcard.

When you wipe data, cache will get wiped by itself
But again..both the method's end results are just the same..its about what do you prefer.
Being into so much recovery and stuff, I just like recoveries hahaha
