I wish I could have posted this in the dev section, but I'm too new to do that. Actually this would be a response to racht's post here:

I just upgraded from floyo 0.20 to 1.0 did a full wipe before and after, wiped dalvik cache too, but the problem is that A/V is out of sync whenever I record something. I use video recording quite often and wanted to ask if there is a fix for this or not?
I have searched the forums and saw that Froyobread has the same issue. Is there a workaround maybe or will I have to revert back to a previous version of floyo?

Yeah, this problem is in froyobread therefore it is in floyo 1.0 . DX, the man behind froyobread stated, that he doesn't use video recording, so he probably won't fix that.
From what I've heard, xGin 5.4 doesn't have this problem and xGin can be dualbooted with froyobread (floyo could work to, try just try it), so this is possible way for you, other than the rollback.
Hope someone will fix this soon.
But I thought racht fixed it. That's why I posted that link too. In there he says "sync in video play", so I don't really understand :S
Does anybody know actually if there was a fix done by racht and it's only acting up in my phone or there wasn't really any fixes done to this sync issue in Floyo 1.0?
I've just installed the Floyo ROM to test it and I still have sync problem, but Racht wrote that he fixed the video PLAY sync, he didn't wrote anything about recording.

Hi,
Im porting a MIUI FRG83 rom to HD2.

I used files from HD2froyov3 and hastarin r8.
Its working but I have performance issue: in home/menu it stutters a bit when scrolling. So I downloaded fps2d, and saw the poor performance: avg fps: 10.
I tried with another miui build for hd2, made with the same miui base and kernel, and there is no stutter and with fps2d the avg fps is ~50.
(also tried logcat on the build saw no error)
I wonder if anyone can help me figure out what is making the performance being poor ?
I would really appreciate any help, thanks a lot.

Th build is based on Miui for nexus one, I got the zip to update to 2.2.1 FRG83 but I dont know how to upgrade the version.
I tried to copy all files over but it replaces miui with stock froyo (and its slow).
Im porting this to HD2, so im wondering how to update an sdcard build for HD2.

You cannot update one build, MIUI, by copying over another set of files and expect it to work ... Its not how its done ... If MIUI do not use 2.2.1 as a base then you are stuck with whatever they provide.

market starts download and after 1-2 second it downloading disapperes
hey mates.i'm an X8 user. My X8 has 2.1.1.C.0.0 i want to get rid of 2.1 and try 2.2 and 2.3 roms...i want you to give me some ideas which rom to try on...i want app2sd native of course cause in 2.1 i have a partition with all my apps radio and no reboots ! is there any rom that fullfil my standards? even VGA cam i don't mind !
I can safely recommend FroyoBread for 2.2 it is Very Stable and Fast and lots of Gingerbread Customizations
it got some bugs like but nothing MAJOR
>Video-Audio Recording is out of Sync
>Camera Crashing after Couple of Shots
>Bluetooth Upload/Download Icon not showing
>Bluetooth Headset sometime Audio skips
>and some Status Icon is not themed right(like FM icon)
If you can live with that, and this ROM is Good for you, Battery life really depends on how you use you're phone, i can get atleast 2days on medium use.

Use S.E.U.S and put back your original.
I can't do that, it updates x8 with 2.1.1.A.0.6...
If have installed MIUI NDT Stable v4.0 Rom, which I like very very much. Actually I like all ROMS made by Langthang. Big thanks for everything and the effort for a wonderfull ROM.
Normally, when I want take pictures and there is no enough light, flashlight will flash automatically when the pictures is captured. But my problem is that the flashlight is not getting on during the capture. With older versions of NDT ROMs, there was no problems. I encountered this problem after the MIUI NDT Stable V3.1 Rom. I thought, maybe the ROM and I was happy when V4.0 came out. But the problem is still there.
The flashlight is working because I use torch very often.
Is there any fix or any setting to solve this problem.

This thing happen to me for every miui build. May be you wait untill it auto focus and see if flash works. If we try to take pic too quickly, most of the times it doesn't. So wait for subject to auto focus and try. Hope it helps! (be sure your battery is not lower than 15%)

I have installed another different rom and here the flashlight works fine. But I like NDT MIUI roms and I would like install that. Maybe Langthang can advise me.

I found the problem. When I install the ROM, either the v4.0 or other ROMS, the flashlight works fine. But when I put back my backup (all programs, system settings and all) with MIUI Backup, then the flashlight doesn't work. So I think there is some failures in my backup.

Hi, guys anyone have been try doing hangout with these ROMs 2.2 & 2.3?
Coz I cant hear the other person when I do Hangout. but I do hear them when I went back with the 2.1 version !! I thought this is 2.2 version bugs but I just tried the 2.3 and had the same issue, I thing something changed with these two ROMs.
If anyone guys experience the same issue or can help me I would appreciate that.
