Hello Regards from Indonesia,
I am (maybe) the first Atrix user in Indonesia as our local Motorola vendor did not have Atrix sell in the country.
Mine is AT&T and unlocked to be used by the local provider. Got it from my cousin in the USA
It is my first android phone, i got the laptop dock as well and i will rely on this setup to do my daily activities such as word processing, emailing, browsing, etc
looking forward tweaking together this phone with the great community here!!
I have just root it and now looking for a stable working gingerbread true ROM.
webtop mode is very crucial for me.
I will not hesitate to donate to any devs through paypal
Regards
Welcome to XDA. I do a lot of bussiness with your country by the way hard working and great people.

Hey everyone! my Xperia X1 has been serving me quite good since I joined XDA.
But that's not enough! I want another phone to test other developments!
So I need a little help here.. Malaysia has an event on giving out a HD7 for any Malaysian citizen who can gain the most support out from in Facebook(tm) so I thought on giving it a try. If by chances I win this, I can be a tester (I'm not a programmer, but I want to be one though..) for any developments coming out from XDA.. It's better to have another 1 extra tester right?
Please view my facebook.com(slash)ethanliew92 to help! thanks a lot
(not selling here )
I am recently new to all of this root developement and I'm looking forward to knowing more about it. Want it to be a second nature to me in the future. My Cousin( xda member) rooted my Evo last night and I haven't put down my device since.
Thanks alot for the support and what you guys do for this community.
Indeed these guys (and gals) are great. Rooting is kind of easy now for me but I got to know how to do it thanks to the great tutorials and tools released by the devs and the support of the staff on XDA.
Welcome aboard! Glad your lovin the evo, its an amazing device and since i got mine iv been learning so much sometimes it gives me the brain pain lol.
But its all worth it in the end when you can make it do anything you want it to, and no one elses is quite like ypur own
Thx for the input.

Just go take a look at the "show us your phone" thread in Themes and Apps. You'll be flashin' like a crazy person in no time!!
Hello Everyone,
If you have not read there was a post made by vbhines wanting to start a group named QAM which is a development group completely for the android community (specifically the samsung captivate for the moment). This means no more flaming, no more trolling, no more blaming other people for stealing, no more fighting!
"We are a community for the community."
My plans for this group is to help improve the experience of any phone that we develop for. We will help out anyone that is in need meaning that if an app or a kernel or anything that will help improve the experience of android on our phones we may or may not make that specific item that is requested or wanted etc.
Since we are a community for a community everything we will be releasing will be open source so whatever way we choose (more then likely on github) to release the source of our work you will be able to get it. Our documentation will be the best possible.
We will always be looking for more contributors to this group/cause. It doesn't matter what you can do it only matters if you help out and don't ruin the work flow . Developers will always be in need as well as UI/Graphic Designers. People that will help out with documentation would be fantastic so that we will always be well organised. We would like this group to be as diverse as possible.
We want to be a much more mature development group so our releases will be well tested so updates come less often which means your experience will be much better since you do not have to flash so often.
We already have quite a good backing by some new up and coming developers who have quite a nice background and we are hoping for more backing by the rest of the community.
I will be updating this more and more because there are more things to come.

Looking forward to see what you guys produce
Hi everyone, I would really love to help this open source project along! However im afraid my only actually skills are a little bit of photoshop manipulation. I would appreciate it if everyone listed good books or web pages to learn programming from. Its been one of my many dreams to actually develop for android . Thanks in advanced and im glad to see the direction this project is taking

Yes its up and running. You sure you got the right server and everything?
Alright guys the site is up and running I just need to setup categories for the forum and we should be good to go! Everything should be done by today depending on how fast I finish up homework etc. I am hoping it will be done though.
We will start a lot more development this weekend. Since I wont have anything to do plus I have 2 weeks off.
The plans for this weekend is to setup a hierarchy and actually establish developers etc.

I'm guessing:
http://www.teamkomin.com ? lol
http://www.teamkomin.com/
dang it...
Just posted the website to the OP. Yes its teamkomin.com.
I have a little bit more to do. I need to add custom menus the navigation so the forum will be implemented. The forum page is http://www.teamkomin.com/forum/
I'm going to hop over to irc tomorrow. I'm best on the debugging end, but not yet in apk modding minus the lg launcher below. I've got to crash this evening, but ill be around tomorrow eve.
(Did also try and help xcal with alittle on his kernel and the headset issue, but he ended up cracking it himself... him and I went back and forth with pms for weeks....)
I would love to help however I can. I have some Java and C experience (not a whole lot, i can debug) and extensive web design experience. Let me know.
I want to say thank-you to the people who create the tools and mods that allow me load mods.
The Acer Iconia upgrade was a fiasco. My Sony Xperia upgrade was a fiasco. It is because I live in Switzerland and we are a little country and nobody is really interested in giving us the upgrade.
So off I went to install a Xperia mod, saw how it worked, and then upgraded my Iconia to the latest 3.1 Iconia rom. After getting to understand how mods work I have to say it is a fantastic thing! No more reliance on the vendors and I can what I want with my device.
If you are wondering, yes I donated to the various places where donate buttons were present!
So thanks...
i so agree
Awesome work guys gals
And thank you xda admins.
Kisses to all
I just got my tab and I tell you im reallyimpressed to see so much development on this device & all the credit goes to our selfless, hardworking Devs. So I request ya'all to take a moment and thank all our Devs.
Thanks so much guys you are amazing. Keep up the great work.
Thank them with a money contribution.
I want to big-up Oldmacnut (aka Jim, aka Mr Stink Finger)
Not everyone can afford to contribute. That's why its a donation and not a charge...
It's nice if you can, the devs still have bills to pay too but sometimes it's just not possible to scrape together any cash (been there, done that)...
It's good to acknowledge them and thank them though if you can't afford to donate, makes them feel appreciated, after all they are sharing the efforts of their labours (which they would've still done anyway - the work not the sharing) with all us poor Android programming illiterates out here who have no technical knowledge or no idea where to begin.
Of course, showing written gratitude is important, but check download stats - contributions-to-download is one-to-thousands.
And really, this device is a luxury item. So anyone using the tab with custom roms isn't in a dire financial situation.
same here, just got my first android tab and its amazing!!
Tks to Task650's rom, its so smooth!
I wish I could tks him but I still need more posts
Thanks to the notorious Developers
Hi guys, I'm such a noob and have trolled the site for a few months to now realize that I should show some gratitude for all the good work you guys have done.
Love the noob video btw!
I have a Galaxy Tab, upgraded it with Gingerbread it's fantastic.
Thanks, Hans
I´m using custom ROM (Overcome Kratos) since de first moment i bought (ebay) my used P-1000. I can´t ask questions (don´t want to disturb using pm) and i still have some issues to make the GT run smoother. I owe "thanks" to the developer and, why not donation, as soon as the forum give me rights to post and get help.
yeah give thanks and donate.
Donated and thanked oldmacnut for his work on the cdma tabs, his roms are great
