Hello all,
I'm having an issue of where my phone is constantly rebooting but won't boot into the rom. I rooted the phone and have been using Royal Ginger 2.1 for a while now.
I don't think the rom that caused the problem I think it's the power port.
I have the wiggle the USB cable for 5 - 10 minutes to get the unit to boot the rom and charge .
Am I just screwed?

Flashing wihout battery
I was in a similar situation. My flash had gone wrong on T8282 aka Blackstone & battery got discharged. I did the following :
- Removed the battery.
- Connected the phone to USB port using a Y cable (the one which u usuallly get with hard disks)
- Got USB connection on bootloader screen. Flashed the new rom using RUU. After flashing 100%, the phone switched off on reset as there was no battery.
- Replaced the battery & put the mobile on charger.
Phone started on power on
Hi, im having problems with my i9505 since I installed the cyanogen 11 (3 days).
Yesterday, it was charging with 40%, and it goes down to 0%, and i cant charge it anymore... it doesnt works.
The phone stay powered with the charger, but shutdown when i unplug it.
I tried to put my battery on my brother´s i9500 and... THE BATTERY GETS 100% of charge. And works well.
But on my phone, it gets 0%, and shutdown the phone 1 second after unplug the charger.
What can i do?
I installed the cyanogen 11 + CWM.
The problem its with the cyanogen or it is with cwm?

Hi, i have i tilapia 32 gb with latest bootloader and i used it during the last 2 year with a slimkat rom.
Now almost everytime it won't turn on normally. The screen is black ,i can't get into recovery or bootloader and charging the battery does nothing.
If i connect it to a pc ,first it shows apx mode on device manager, then if keep pushing the power button many times sometimes it starts and i can access to bootloader and recovery.
I wiped everything,flashed twrp again,tried other roms but almost everytime it won't turn on normally even if the battery is fully charged.
Do you think it is 100% a motherboard problem?
Is there some chance that replacing the old battery(i never changed the original one) will solve this problem? thanks
Most likely storage finaly died so you are out of luck
Hey Guys,
My phone gets stuck in a bootloop if I don't use a charger while turning it on. Actually, doesn't even get past the splash screen and reboots every 1 to 2 seconds. I also need to connect it to the charger to access TWRP. Normally, when I disconnect the charger after the phone has turned on, the phone suddenly turns off. But when I do the same when I'm in TWRP, nothing happens and I can continue using it without any problems. I'll put the logs if you neeed. And yes, I don't need the charger to get into fastboot mode. I'm currently on lineage 15.1 unofficial but the problem persists over other roms too. Please help...
Change the battery
It's the battery , which is under performing with the voltage needed to run the rom process,
That's why you are able to use with charger and got bootloop without charger. In twrp or any recovery mode most of the hardware is disabled and does not need much power.
