[Q] DSIXDA's Kitchen CM7 problems.

I've tried to get an answer from the kitchen thread, but there seems to be no knowledge about this.
I'm using charnsingh_onlines Unofficial CM7 nightly (link in sig) as a base for my NAND ZIP ROM. But with the latest ROM from charnsingh_online there is a problem when using the kitchen.
If I extract the ROM with dsixda's kitchen and then rebuild it w/o modifications the ROM is unusable. Totally unusable.
Complains about format getting 3 args and not 2 as required, when trying to flash.
If I use the EXACT same updater-script but extract it with WinRAR and rebuilds it with WinRAR everything works fine. No errors. They just occur when using this specific ROM and dsixda's kitchen.
My base is available at the link in my sig, and you could try this yourself and you'll see what I mean.
Any idea what the problem could be, if so, please share it with me. Been messing around with this for about 5 days now... Want it resolved...

[Q] MiniCM theme for MiniCM-1.0.0-Beta2 port for x8

Hi,
I can not post in development-related forums, so I ask here, I hope it is ok?
I flashed the MiniCM-1.0.0-Beta2 successfully, and it works great, I tried the Sense Theme and the Floyo Theme, but I like the original miniCM Theme.
Where can I get the original miniCM Theme for MiniCM-1.0.0-Beta2, or how can I restore to original miniCM Theme.

I think you can rename the rom file to update.zip and update from xrecovery and this will change your theme.... (not sure if you will lost anything)
Or you can open the rom file and find the framework.apk , make it an update zip like the other themes you try and again from xrecovery update it.

I know I am responsible for my actions, next time of course I will backup with xrecovery before I change anything.
When I flash the rom again, I will have the original Theme of course, but I will lost any other changes I have made.
I do not know how to make a update.zip, only change framework-res.apk in update.zip?

Help with ROM cooking.

Hi,
Im currently modifying one ROM to my picture and im stuck at changing default theme. It using Cyanogenmod 7 so it have theme changer BUT i have LunarUi installation apk and i want to set LunarUi as default theme, so when somebody flashes this ROM there will be runing LunarUi. Is That Possible ? What sould i do?

You need to remove the Launcher1.apk from the system--app folder replace it with the lunar launcher.
Then repack it should be fine.

for "customization" of your used custom-rom i recommend UOT Kitchen. i used it myself two months ago on my leedroid rom (now i have runnymede aio special edition). changed prety everthing ^^
you can "cook" your own custom-look and make it to a flashable zip. (always backup your current rom befor flashing something)
just google it.
instruction on how to use it are on the site.

Does anyone know if the uot kitchen has been used on the S4 with success to alter the theme of your rom and what files did you use to change it?
