Front facing camera lag

Anyone notice the lag the nexus s camera has? My gf has the my touch 4g and she gets no lag when outside.

What do you mean by lag?
I have both phones... just held both up using the FFC on each. The MT4G seems to be quicker to respond (by maybe 1/4 of a second) and has a bit better framerate, but has a ton more noise so I think it could just be a software tweak that would equalize the two.

What is Chevron

Got Cm7 on eemc. What is that chevron on the status bar? Doesn't do anything when I click?

That is to make use of full screen. I use it when playing a game or watching a video. It seems to appear sometimes when you don't need it, or it occassionally doesn't work.

make sure you map a button to unhide it.
it works great with videos.

Any one having choppy scrolling?

When scrolling in apps like xda and re.net mobile the screen chops the whole way down the page but yet my phone can run the apps just fine? Makes no since very disappointing anyone else have these issues know a fix?

It's likely the apps you're using.
The xda app in particular is terrible. You're better off using a browser

Go Launcher Ex Ram

I don't if this is normal but I never had an app that isn't a game take this much ram!

Inefficient design; don't use it. To be honest, most Go Team apps are poorly programmed. I'd avoid them whenever possible.

Yea I guess your right, I decided to try something new and people praised go launcher Ex so I finally tried it and it uses way more ram than nova, I bet it'll drain my battery as well

Just saw today it takes 116 MB on my GS4 !
It's a pity because i really like Go Launcher...

Best game to show off the screen and processor.

I wish a game like portal was available.

The way the game works is you download it from the play store, then when you run the game it downloads about 1.2GB on the first run.

I've been playing Aquaria off the Humble Bundle for Android 6. Couple that with a gamepad, and it definitely shows what the phone can do. I've yet to really try to push it yet, still breaking it in right now.

Definitely liking the graphics in NFS Most Wanted, real racing 3

Avoid NOVA 3 and modern Combat 4. They look good but Gameloft doesn't allow either to run at full graphics on the S4 (makes no sense).
