hi everyone,i'm looking for a way to have an iphone like grouping for apps
hope you ' ll help me
Use golauncher, this has that functionality and is super smooth
or use tw4
Use App Organizer
Any screenshots? I.m interested in grouping apps but app organiser never was particularly nice lookingand was a separate app, not a launcher.

+1 for golauncher. Its a very nice launcher replacement and it has a back up function so rebuilding after flashing is easier.
G
Use aplications folder!!
use GO Launcher Ex. It is a good launcher app. By the way you can manager your list as like as u want.
For people recommending apps organizer, there's a different app from the same developer called Folder Organizer. I've switched over from Apps Organizer (it has an import feature that's compatible with the export one from AO).
It has more features, it's nicer, detects when a new application is installed so you can assign labels right away, among other really nifty things.
IMO, blows the ridiculous iOS folders out of the water.
Simifolder is godlike. Just my opinion

Thanks for the recommendation. I was using ADW Launcher for a while and then switched to Go Launcher and really like that one. I've never heard of Circle Launcher so I'll check it out.
I found it to be a little laggy too, and was looking for an alternative. Checked out the simi folder mentioned above and I like it a lot.
not a fan of circle launcher.
I dislike how the app is called "Circle Launcher" when it isn't actually a launcher. It basically just makes fancy folders (only using the resources of a widget), which for me, seems unnecessary.

Agreed....I use launcher pro plus, and the scrollable dock station allows me to accomplish the same taks...Only faster.
so i know there are still alot of aria owners out there and i know there are like %ss loads of ways to enhance and better the visuals and the feel of the aria so pretty much just post the names of your favorite apps and share ways you personally like to make the phone look better i want to know your opinions

launcherpro plus
circle battery widget
minimalistic text widgets
launcherpro icons app
desktop visualizer
those are my mainstays for visual customizations. I also use the Minimal Magic theme with the theme chooser built into the CM7 roms.
I ended up using Adw ex, pure calendar, pure grid calendar, battstat pro, pure music player, fancy Widgets pro, SMS unread count, blue theme for cm7, and senses theme for cm7 and I'm pretty happy with it. I had beautiful Widgets before fancy Widgets but it seemed to have raped my battery so I switched

I gave it a trial run.. its kind of a memory hog and it also runs a little choppy but its not completely bad. Not sure how it will run if you're not overclocked.. it does look pretty good though. I ended up going back to Adw ex though

Good info, thanks.
What is the best latest launcher available? I'm tired of launcher pro and the other launchers.
For some reason I love my launcher7. It is simple and because I don't like horizontal scrolling.
Go launcher is really good and its free to. Alot of customization and there are some nice themes available. If you don't mind shelling out a few bucks awd launcher is nice to. There's also a free version of it out so you can give it a whirl. Try some and pick your fav.

I use FolderOrganizer because a friend recommended. I used the free version until Amazon had it one day as the Free App. It works great.
I am absolutely baffled that my Samsung Epic does this out of the box, but my friggen tab needs an app to do it.

I use App Folder Pro simple and easy to use.
If you go with a custom launcher like adw ex, which sounds like it will be one of the 10 cent apps from Google soon, the launcher now has the ice cream sandwich folder option. Just drag the apps together and now you have a folder.

I got the ADWex launcher for 10 cents. Unfortunately the folder icon is so small on the tablet. I can't find a way to increase the side of the folder. Any ideas?
Has anyone got TSF launcher working on the Note after device reboot?
I've paid 16 bucks for this, and every time I restart my phone it force close and TW launcher would come up instead!!!
Also, where is the dialer? Or I've to go through Contacts, then dial the phone???
These things are uncalled for, they should have provided a demo, not the lengthy show off video...

Maybe I did something wrong, but I can't think of anything other than regular install of the launcher...

In the devs defence, the videos I've seen on YouTube are very impressive. I definitely think it would be worth a trial to ensure its worth its value, but in what I've seen its completely different from most other things around.
Please don't assume all launchers are of the same value... may as well buy a £10 feature phone because the N7000's £600 is a rip off in comparison!

What you say is like who in their right mind would pay $1 million dollar house, or $500,000 for a Bentley! If you can afford it, then there's no problem of buying it...
I have ADW and Go, but ADW was really good on my tablet not the Note and Go lags all the time... It's a mattet of preference, as if we all had the same taste/preference, no competition between products would arise!

hmm? most of the features that are in the demo are in this version. a few icons look different here and there (ie. folder icon), but for the most part, its more or less the same. the only thing that is notably different is the music widget not being as good as the demo made it seem.
@OP - uhhh... you just use the app called 'phone'. it launches samsung's default phone app.
its not a bad launcher, but not worth the $15.
for $15, i would expect something along the lines of SPB Shell 3d launcher - where its not just a launcher UI, but also includes a whole range of custom widgets that provide useful functionality.
Add missing map widget. Also it's just launcher. It needs more widgets.
I cannot add shortcuts. Missing live wallpapers. A folder animation is missing.
