[Q] where to get U8800H V100R001C00B138SP01CUSTC38D001

hey guys,
i just wonder where i can get this rom U8800H V100R001C00B138SP01CUSTC38D001 (Malaysia Maxis). I have tried to download from Huawei's website but it does not work .
Also, i wonder whether is room is suitable for using in China. Orelse i just need to download rom like U8800 V100R001C00B138SP03CUSTC316D002 (South Africa vodacom) .

Its not B138, its B136
If you got B138 elsewhere please let me know.
Also, you are asking for U8800H and U8800 firmwares, and they are different handsets. Which one do you have? They are NOT interchangeable.

i have a U8800H and i have flashed B136 (Overseas General) rom for U8800 without any problem..
afaik they only differ in HSPA speed..

Has anyone managed to find a B138 rom for the 8800H yet? or tried installing the 8800 B138 rom?

Hi, I installed this file on my U8800H and it works perfect (I dont use 3G):
U8800V100R001C00B138SP04CUSTESTC205D001(Esthonia_Elisa).zip
Search it on the forim

I installed the B138, and it's working perfectly, including 3G and everything! Just for anyone else interested in doing this themselves!

updated from stock 2.2.2 to 2.3.5 (B540) and i dont know how to root the phone.
1. can i go back to 2.2.2 or 2.3.5 (B512) ? how ?
2. if not how can i install cwm ? to flash another rom
EDIT : ok i installed B512

I am looking for the Gingerbread installation file for the U8800pro (B512 or B540) but it is not currently available from the official site.

Anyone knows why do I expirience blue "ANDROID" sign and the phone turns the screen on and off randomly with updating from 2.2.2. It is my friends phone. He has a pro version, but I have the normal one. I updated with B540, all the links I found for B512 were dead. I *found* one but the installation gets aborted by settings-sd storage-sd software upgrade. Now I even cant install cm7. Do I have to flash with older 2.2 stock ROM and just try again?

Hello, I have a lots of problems whit this ROM, and I can't downgrade to the Froyo version, so I want try another kind of ROM, but I'm blind in this kind of things and I have some questions
1º If I install any no official ROM for my U8800, can I go back to my official beta 2.3.5?
2º Watt kind of programs is necessary to do the operation?
3º I have to pay for this programs?
4º Is possible with the new ROM use all the space of the internal SD for the applications, I have some problems when I install some apps in the internal SD, then when i put the external SD i can't access to the apps in the internal SD if I eliminate the internal SD and transfer the 2Gb to the internal main storage of the X5 we have 2.6GB of internal space and not 600Mb plus 2GB.

here is the stock estonia elisa 2.2.2 rom

and this is wind's image folder. this contains wind's files.

first flash 2.2.2 firmware, then boot to pink screen, connect your phone, find the image folder, replace it with the one inside the "stock 2.2.2 img.zip"
hopefully this will work. Haven't tried it though...

ok i downloaded but i replaced the image first because i tried to flash the portuguese rom and it failed to update and it deleted everything.I am now install the portuguese again isnt it the same with the wind one??ok portugese rom flashed i cant thank you enough.

First flash the firmware and then copy the image. Wind's diffrences are some stock apks included to the image. I don't know if there are others ...

U8800 Greek stock ROM (WIND)

Hello, as the title says I'm looking for the stock ROM of U8800 that comes with the phone sold in greek market by WIND. The reason I want this, is cause half of the touch screen has stopped responding and I wanna take it to their service. ROM itself for flashing or a backup should be fine.
Furthermore, cause the phone is not mine and I don't have it on my hands right now, does it have any binary counter (like the samsungs do) and needs anything special to get it to zero?

i think wind release greek rom only for u8800 pro
and not for u8800
but you can upgrade the rom from huawei official site for u8800
it have greek language but not keyboard(you can download your own)

I think they 've realesed a rom for U8800 too. Someone to confirm that please. However the phone was bought from WIND Hellas with 2.2 android on it. So any ROM that they won't argue it wasn't theirs is more than welcome

Does anyone know how can I install the wind stock rom back to my phone?
I have CM7 now, but the phone needs to be repaired and wind stores doesn't accept it with a custom ROM, they accept it only with their rom.
Can you help me?

[Q] Help!! X10a screen touch stopped working after flashing 2.3.3 firmware

Hi all,
I have flashed my x10a with flashtool and x10_2.3_aro_2.ftf firmware. But after the flashing is finished, my phone screen touch is not working. What can I do now? I am unable to install xrecovery to install another rom bcoz screen touch isn't working. So I can't install any custom ROM. What is the solution for me now?? :crying:

Use PcCompanion

ye afaik the 2.3 Aro is an X10i Rom..
try the method posted above.
Repair your phone via SEUS.

I tried with X10a_3.0.1.G.0.75_AMERICA-US GENERIC 1233-8200.ftf this firmware too.. And I need to drag the status bar downwards to connect to PcCompanion. That I can't do because my screen isn't working

To repair your phone you just need to have the physical buttons working
Go to SEPCC / Sony Support Zone -> Software update -> repair phone (might be some other translations or words, as i am translating from the german version)
Go through the steps, and you will be asked to connect your phone in flashmode, which you can access by pressing and holding the back button while you turn on your phone.
After you do that, you have to wait for downloads etc to finish, and SEUS will flash back to stock.
edit: You will loose your personal data, which is stored on the phone.. Your SD Card will be untouched though

Please post download links for your TekkDroid ICS v1 rom, TDKernel v1 please. I am on unlocked bootloader with ICS V1 4.0.4 FERALAB rom, FeraKernel Xperia X10i. want to try your rom.

While I tried to update with PC Companion error came like this, "There is no software available for your phone. Please try again later". What might be the solution for this?

It's still in development.. :/ And the current version has some FC's etc.

How can I get back to stock rom, from where can I download it, I m searching this since 3 days. Its my 4th day without phone.

Use the method i described on page 1..
with using SEUS (PC Companion) you as a person won't have to flash anything, it will be downloaded and flashed automatically by Sony.

I already told that, sony said software not found for your x10 while I tried to flash from pc companion. Anyway thank u for you reply. What sud I have to do now?

Anyone please help me... PC Companion said no software available for my phone.

try flash another kernel using FT..then u can flash another rom.
