I had installed latest NAND CM7 android on my HD2, when i woke up this morning phone was turned off ... the battery was empty. When I put it on charged and turned it on some apps were missing, and I checked battery status and saw the bluetooth was using most of it (probably it drained my battery)...The problem is that I have no services, just phone as offline gadget tried reinstalling android, instaling wm,wp, but services are still off :/
any ideas? thanks in advance...

I assume your Radio? Have you tried reflashing a different radio?
tried reflashing same radio will try some other? any suggestion which should i try? or go 1 by 1 and hope for the best?
Try Radio 2.15 or 2.12, switch between them; they're the best (for most of people).
Try to keep switching data on and off in Settings for a while then reboot, the trick may do itself.
tried 2.12, 2.15 radios - nothing
tried few android versions, few wp versions, few wm versions - nothing
switching data on and off for a while, reboot - problem persists

SOLVED !!!! sim is dead luckily I have its data from multisim so that wont be a problem... I'm so relieved that my HD2 is fine, was really bumped about it thank you kawazaki for replies

As the title..
I have problem with my device, Atom Life.
The problem is that my device always in Flight Mode and also when I see in system info, it shows that IMEI and Radio not ready.
It's Strange...
I have try to solving my self by flashing it with WM 6.5 WWE Version (previous are WM 5.0), but still there are no signal a.k.a the phone in Flight Mode and IMEI and Radio shows not ready.
Any solutions..?

Try HR, don't install any softwares right after, probably cause of software conflict. I got the same problem with the Default ALife ROM, i gave him a HR (Hard-rest), he served me well after that.
Anyway, try using another clean ROM. My wm6.5's radio works stable.

try using clean roms and 6.1 and if it doesnt work then probably u have a faulty card reader
Alright I've searched and really thought I'd come up with something, but nobody seems to have this exact problem. Everything works perfectly as long as I'm on wifi, but as soon as I hit tmous data, it'll freeze for a sec, then reboot, followed by a few consecutive battery pulls. I'm doing a radio re-flash, but anyone have any idea of why it's doing this only on data?

Okay this is an easy fix.
1. Run a task 29 and wipe your phone clean
2. Flash the official T-Mobile Stock ROM(this upgrades your radio to the newest 2.15)
3. Flash MAGLDR 1.12
4. Flash the DFT WP7 for HD2 rom
5. Download and run htc connection setup. Make sure you select US as well as tmobile for region and carrier(respectiveley)
This should auto configure your apn and other network settings
If you want the manual data:
Apn--epc.tmobile.com
Username--none
Password--none
Note-Actually type none for username and password
If you are getting restarts turn airplane mode on, enter the apn settings, disable 3g, turn airplane mode off, and enable 3g

Ok so I thought this worked, but it's actually still doing the same thing. Everything works perfectly, until I use data. So weird... Is anyone else having this issue? Also, it takes like 5-10 boots to get it fired up.
Would the SD card be causing my data to crash the phone? It just doesn't seem logical to me, but I'm no expert. Using Sandisk 4gb class4 card btw
*Edit* If anyone else is having this problem, try playing with radios. I just downgraded from 2.15.50.14 to 2.10.50.28_2 and it seems to be solved. Data works fine now without crashes.
Why was it so strict when we followed the first instruction that we had to use radio 2.15. It is great that other radio's work as I have issues with data and signal with 2.15 as well.
Hi! I tried some Android Nand Roms on my HD2 and always got the same problem. Always I turn on my mobile data connection the phone freezes completely and I've got to pull out the battery. On Wifi everything works fine but I really have no idea what's the problem.
Ive installed HSPL 2.08 SPL 2.08 and the newest Radio version.
Can someone help me please? I allready searched the inet for infos but couldn't find anything.
What ROM are you trying? One thing is to make sure you are using the correct partition size, this is known to cause a lot of problems. For instance, if you're trying a Sense rom, you're going to need a larger partition for the build.

When you installed CWM which partition did you install... for instance, a common one is 150mb.... You may have flashed a CWM with too small of a partition for the MIUI build...

Me = this problem too, and as i been repeating for months:
1: Don't listen to muppets that say "do a task 29" - coz they think task 29 cures cancer!!!!!
2: Do a search just on XDA HD2 section and you will find literally HUNDREDS of people with this problem.
3: Do a google search for Android data freeze and you will literally find tens of thousands of people with this problem.
4: It will NEVER EVER be solved on the HD2....hence why, when i get some cash, i'm going to throw my phone against the wall and film a youtube video of me doing it....then buy something decent.
PS: task29 does not CURE THE WORLD OF EVERYTHING!!!!

Well, at least It's not only me, I'm complaining for awhile, never happened to me using direct SD builds, it usually happens when I port a nand build to SD, for now only happening with nand builds, what radio do you have?

I've met the same problem recently, but let's start from the beginning, and the situation below is sorted by time:
Camcorder white screen
taking pictures freeze
when charging, navigation app freeze easily
play jewel star more than 30 mins freeze
Turn on data connection, can not last than 1 mins, freeze
After freeze, pull out batt and back on, Magldr freeze on "Go GO GO" sometimes
When entering System, freeze
The problem is getting worse, and I almost give up my HD2. I've done every softeware solution , but can not get any good result. So, I put my HD2 to the ShenZhen(China) mobile repair technician, and got the Qualcomm 8250 CPU replaced. Then, re-install my energy rom, and all problems are gone, like a whole new phone, without any freeze.
My phone is TMOUS, and the production date is 2010/JUN. I've dropped my phone on the ground for once or twice, which the technician think the main reason for CPU broken. No matter what, my HD2 is rebirth now.

When I'm turning on the Wifi, it's stuck on "Wi-Fi Scanning" and no networks on the list.
Worked fine on WM
Also, I've reinstalled many many ROMs, made repartition and reinstalled the whole thing from the beginning a couple of times (Task29, Radio...)
And updated the drivers for the wifi
I can't find solution for that thing.

Check my signature. I don't know what ROM's you have flashed but if you experience the issues on mine then I can help you more easily.
I tried using cLK this morning in combination with several ROMS, but I cannot seem to get the mobile internet working.
ROMS tested:
- MIUI (official) with Tytung r14 kernel
- Mwakious Nightmare (cLK version)
- Dorimanx ROM
Everything works fine, but it just doesn't seem to fire up the mobile internet connection at all. I know cLK works with PPP, but could it be, that my phone operator doesn't support this somehow? The APN settings are in order and I even deleted the APN and manually added it again. It just doesn't connect.
Is there a reasonable explenation for this? MAGLDR does not give any problem at all.

Lack of response is usually because no one else is seeing the issue you're reporting. Did you also post this issue in the cLK thread?
Have you tried either of the following?
1. Reboot the phone after changing the APN settings.
2. Turn off the radio (go to airplane more) and turn it on again.
Data disconnect with cLK is a well known phenomena (seems to be both hardware and operator dependent).

I did, and then I started to doubt myself if I was asking the question in the right section of the forum , so I posted it here as wel.
In regards to your tricks, unfortunately that didn't work. Though I thank you for your response. I'll try again this weekend, as I am using this phone for work as well ;-)

I m using hyperdroid v6 rom with clk1.4, recovery 4 and having no data issues till yet
Though ppp is unstable in nature and data drops happen...yet most of the times it works
I had issues when i used radio 2.15 or 2.14 or any other radio..... it was only radio 2.12 which made mobile internet quite usable
So i suggest that u must try radio 2.12 with clk... if it doesn't work...try the latest hyperdroid build... hopefully ur data issues might get solved
If u hav TMOUS HD2, use radio 2.07.50 and for EU HD2 usec2.12.50
