I have an evo and rooted n all but my phone randomly restarting then loops continually at the HTC Evo white screen is there anything I can do to solve this annnoying issue

I am having the same problem have use mikmik roms hybird, virus rom and sac rom with the same result goes in to the reset loop does someone out ther have the fix for it. have donde full wipe including factory wipe no help any information will be apreciated thanks and keep the good work coming

I'm on cm7 nightly 3/2 along with a friend at work and our service keeps randomly going away completely. Tried reboots and battery pulls. Is there a new radio that fixes that or is it a known issue? I haven't had rom problems yet but not sure if that has something to do with it.

have you troubleshooted the problem?
read the cm7 thread to see if others are having an issue?
called Tmobile and checked to see if there is an issue with the service in your area?
i know when i had a blackberry and was having service issues...it was always been an issue with the local tower...so tmobile would send a signal to the phone to get it right...not sure if it works the same for our phones
also you could back up your rom by doing a nandroid and a titanium backup and reflash cm7 or another rom and run it for a day and see if you are still having issues
Alright I'll try to keep this brief:
I rooted both mine and my wifes phone. Her phone began shutting off and not powering up until battery pull. She was convinced I caused this. I returned her phone to stock and got a replacement from t mobile.
Upon receiving the replacement (unrooted) the problem began again.
At this point I replaced the sim. Problem persisted.
I formatted the sd. Problem persisted.
She removed sd altogether and still the problem persisted.
I'm all out of variables to trouble shoot here. Am I just the victim of bizarre coincidence to have two 4gs with the same issue?
I'm at a loss.

I've heard of this happening before. Did you try to see if there was an app that caused it to freeze while on standby? And did you root it again?

I'm not sure how I would figure out if there were an app that caused that and since sure never uses custom roms I didn't see a need to root her phone. Still confused.

Perhaps try rooting, and flashing a completely new ROM on and see if that works, or try flashing the stock recovery image from hboot, and see if that fixes it?
Otherwise I think you may just have gotten some bugged phones Been known to happen
Just recently I ran into the problem of the screen not timing out. It will just stay on continuously until you either turn it off or reboot the phone. I can't seem to recreate the problem on demand, its more of a random thing.
Anyone else experience this while using this ROM?

Did you install a new kernel? If so, flash a new one that's made for non-sense ROMs. Also, never say your device is bricked when it's able to turn on and function. Being bricked means your phone ceases to turn on.

I got the mytouch from my sister and when she had the phone the sound kept working on and off. But now it dosnt work at all. But everytime i boot up my phone the sound works for the boot only. I really need help please.
What ROM/firmware are you on? We need details.

Interesting. Are you wiping /system between flashes? If it's working through the boot animation, would one assume the issue has to be software related.
