Thanks for apk. But I tried to just replace the application - the icon disappears ... On Picasso is stock camera from HC 3.1.

Hi,
use winrar to open the rom zip file, dont unpack it as it will mess with the signature, go to system\app and replace the camera.apk there, then reflash the rom.
EASY!!

Thanks, I'll try. What is the application (apk), which is responsible for recording video?

hey guys!
I've ported the MT4G launcher to stock sense.
You can choose the colour when button pressed between stock green HTC and blue from Safari Theme (screens).
I used the stock com.htc.resources.apk and rosie.apk and this should work on every rom, just choose your base!
If this framework won't work on your current rom, necessary files have to be included in the current framework you are using!
DOWNLOAD FOR 2.09 BASE
DOWNLOAD - flashable zip - BLUE
DOWNLOAD - files only
DOWNLOAD FOR 2.10 BASE (taken from Leedroids 2.2f)
DOWNLOAD - flashable zip - BLUE
DOWNLOAD - flashable zip - GREEN
DOWNLOAD FOR 2.29 BASE
DOWNLOAD - flashable zip - BLUE
DOWNLOAD - flashable zip - GREEN
Enjoy!
If you share the .apk file maybe someone could correct the mistake!
Can you also post some screenshots, please?
unecessary - deleted
Could you share the launcher? Would be really cool
I'm making my own Rom atm and I'd really appreciate it, if you'd share it. Is it "just" the Launcher or also the Lockscreen etc.?
Thanks

This is probably not the solution, but I had a similar look on an espresso theme after i changed the density of my screen.
Could be a .png that shouldn't be there, too. For example a transparent png....
Nice work! could you please share the apk?
i've got it working now! The resolution was the problem!
Everything looks fine now:
I'll upload the files in some minutes...
Wow! Looks really cool! Does it come with Lockscreen?
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App and 8pen!

Noted in the first post!!
The framework of Leedroids rom is different and so you'd need to replace the files yourself and not flash the files and overwrite your current framework! The files you downloaded are stock froyo 2.09 framework! I think Leedroid rom uses 2.10 framework.
U can post your rosie.apk and your com.htc.resources.apk and i can do this for you!
I didn't have a 2.10 base froyo sense and because of this i could only upload the earlier framework!
I have the rosie.apk and the other file for you....
Hope you can make it work with the Leedroid 2.2f
com.htc.resources.apk
rosie.apk
Good luck!
This works on every rom, of course!
You only need the right files!
I'll do this later when i get back from work!
Thx for sharing the files!

I think you can just download a rom that contains it, like android revolution. Grab it from the zip.
I would like to know where the htc hub apk is too
Download Revolution HD or any Sense based ROM, extract the Hub.apk with WinRAR and transfer it to your device. Install. Voila!
are there any updates on porting this?

I looked in Mik's 2.5 ROM for the HTC Hub and there are two files: HtcHubSyncProvider.odex and HtcHubSyncProvider.apk. I found these in /system/app. I assume that is the correct location? Do I need to place both of these files on my SD card or JUST the .apk?
Thanks!
His ROM is odexed. That is why you see 2 files. You will need to pull the apk from a ROM that isn't odexed to get the untouched apk.

Doh! Thank you sir!
I am on JVH.
Used SGS tools to upgarde my camera.apk to the hacked version. That did not work and I got the message "busybos not installed". Now camera does not work and I am at a lost of what to do. Any suggestions on how to get the original apk and reinstall it?
Thanks alot!
Kinda solved it by installing this app instead: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.mnapps.cameraadvance&feature=order_history
Great app, no worse as far as I have found out.
Install Busybox....

Best thing you can do is to reflash that firmware again, I have had to do that too.
I thought it'd be a good idea to flash the camera from the Galaxy SII but that didn't work out so i found the original apk, that didn't work either.
So back to flashing the JVH rom again!
Well, suddenly it worked again after copying over original apk and odex.

After installing the app, did you then use the app to install actually busybox? Just curious.

Well that should not be surprising should it? That's exactly what should have happened by restoring the original files

Hi, I have exactly the same problem - not working camera after I tried to hack camera with SGS Tools (without busybox).
Which exactly file you copied to the /system/app folder? Can you put here a link do this file with original camera for JVH?
Regards, b.

I'm afraid it will not install if you`re running a custom rom, since it`s an Acer`s stock rom system app...
so no other way?
Only chposing a rom that already have clearfi?
If yes; tx for ur help

I am not sure, I can be wrong, but I suppose so...
Not sure if it could be solved editing the build.prop file...
I'm on Thor and it shows up in the market..

Most problems on custom rom is that if they delete the clearfi app they also delete the permission.
System/etc/permission, there should be a clearfi. XML file.
If that file is missing clearfi won't work, solution is restoring that file and then putting the clearfi app in system/app and reboot.
Hey guyz! i am a fan of DZO's ics rom for ideos X5. Thank you Sooo Much! but i deleted my bluetooth and video recording apps accidently. if there is any place to download and install them again. Or should i just reinstall whole rom for the 2 apps?

ok extract the ROM zip.. go into system/app find the two apk's you are looking for... the eponymously named bluetooth.apk and the by video recorder you mean camera.apk i guess.. copy both of these to your sdcard.. then using rootexplorer move them to system/app set the permissions and reboot your phone.
hope i helped!

If you didn't make any change just flashing the ROM again you will fix that problem, no need to wipe or format, just flash it again and that 2 apks will be there and all you installed before too
