get no unlockcode from nv_data.bin

hai
i have imported a galaxy S from the US to europe.
but i cant unlock it!
i only get the mcc/mnc lock
Opening file <.\nv_data.bin>...
Searching code block...
Found.
Searching codes...
MCC/MNC lock : 00101
i have try all medleys that i can find here and now i dont know the way out of my problem
yesterday i post in the captivate forum, but nobody rly can help me or give me some tipps, i hope here is someone who can help me. plz excuse the doublepost (captivate and here) but i am rly helpless!
i will donate someone who can give me my unlock code! plz let me know if there is anybody who can do it...!
my way of bloody frustration today:
-at first i flash roms from the i9000 (jm8)
-than the captivate-stock kernel
-root
-first try with the unlock tool (sgux.exe)
-flash jm7 with captivate-stock kernel (repati + efs clear with 512 pin)
-next try with unlock tool
-flash jm6, try unlock, flash jh7, try unlock, flash jf6, try unlock
-flash with odintool "I897UCJF6-final-OCD-REV0"
-try unlock
try update with kies and "regedit" trick in all medleys
i try also the two galaxy unlock apps there i find in the market:
"sgs unlock" > sorry no codes found unknown error
and "unlock galaxy" > unlock code: FFFFFFFF unfreeze code: not found

Ah now I see you flashed your phone to "death". It seems your nv_data.bin is corrupt. If you have no backup you are out of luck. (nv_data.bak or .nv_data.bak)
Here are the instruction how to rebuild your file if you have a bak file.

for real? i have no backup.. the first that i do is flash a i9000 firmware with an captivate kernel because there was a lot of at&t apps on the phone!

i order two unlockcodes on trusted websites because i still waiting for a code...

Please search the forum. There is someone there that can rebuild it for you. I suppose he cannot disclose the method due to the forum policy (something regarding changing/setting IMEI).
There is always a way
If that is not possible, then, there are sites that you can BUY the unlock code for your phone given the IMEI.

I have the same problem for I9000B in Argentina, I'm missing the .nv_data.bin and the Bak file it's corrupt, Can somebody give a URL to Unlock the Phone. I'm continuos recieving the msg "Put PIN for SIM".

I used this version to recovery the functional operation on my SGS I9000B_JH4_JI3_JH2_JH4_VJ_ARO. Please tell me if you need some more data.

did they remove the long task manager app on the initial home screen? I can't see it now after the upgrade.. yey!

...6 our ago I was in the same point.
Yes, by mistake was flash ( + EFS clean ) and ..00101 was crazy !
But before flash I was have nv_data 40MB after clean only 2MB
And now Phone Works like Fresh New

Ateast I learned something. I never understood why I always saw people type '10 characters'. I just found out why.
At OP. There are a few easy ways to root . FastRX8 instructions are what I followed (his thread). But now that peoples phones come with 2.2 already installed, I think unrevoked is necessary. Anyone feel free to correct me.

llook in teh dev section, then click onto the wiki and find it in there,

Used Unrevoked just yesterday. Works 100% and it doesn't get any easier. If you can't use this then you should root your phone. Enjoy!

If you want official WinMo ROM you can download it directly from HTC website, Radio is included.
The Android version you are looking for it is called NexusHD2 v2.7. It is very stable and compiled from source of Nexus One.

heyyy dude problem is that when i type my serial no. of mobile and submit it then it says that this not for u r mobile some thing like that so tell me what to do plz post some direct link to download both andriod and windows mobile roms ok and i m asking for that rom for andeio which works smoothly and has no clause ok plz help me .. i also read the forum bt i cat understand all the things ok i m so worried for my mobile

If website say that it not a ROM for your telephone then you are doing something wrong.
Make sure you select the right phone from list in htc website or that you enter the right code number.
You can not have both installed in NAND. You can find NexusHD2 if you just search. If you want to have both install WinMo and find an SD Android version to put in your SDcard.
It is not easy for us to explain you in 1 post what we have learned by reading countless times the threads here.
If you can't find any solution by yourself then try finding some friend of yours who understand better and help you.
Else you can always find someone to pay to fix your device.

Without wishing to appear rude it is a tad difficult to understand you.
Ii believe you are unable to download the correct official rom for your device. this is sometimes the case that your serial number is not accepted by htc as they offer different roms for different carriers.
try getting YOUR official rom off of this thread. good luck.

There are no tmous roms on HTC site at all. Only on T-Mobile.com, and it will ask for your IMEI not serial.

asterixhashir < you can flash back to the original rom that was intended for your hd2.
don't mess around with android roms if you don't know how to do your own homework.
download the the original rom for your t-mobile hd2 and open the exe file with winrar - extract the file "RUU_signed.nbh" and rename it "leoimg.nbh" - copy this file to the root of your sd card - restart your phone while holding on to the volume down button - then follow the steps and your back home with windows mobile. - then you can sell your hd2 and buy a android phone.

5) Which "ROM" the most speed up my phone, improve his performance and will look the best of all ? Give me your's proposites
6) Is it true that the glass front of our very mobile draws after prolonged use?
And the last one: 7) Is the two gigabyte memory card good enough to me that I need to buy better?

Rooting is gaining acess to your phones OS and being able to change it
Update your phones firmware like this settings>about phone>Software Update or maybe use odin
As for the roms i heard hyperion is the best but you might want to install supercharger
Installing a rom is easy peasy you go in the recovery when you turn off the phonr. Ita power+volume up+home key buttons ... Hold them until the logo dissapears. And voula your in the recovery.

As CALIBAN666 said, test all of them. They are all used for some particular purpose or other, so you never know which one you might end up liking. Go through their features first.
And about the first post, those were stupid questions. But it dosen't matter to us as new users always come here and we welcome them. What bothers us that threads like this one are created again and again. That's why we advise new users to read the stickies of the forum and search before posting.

its ok for me that only one sim will work

No it actually will be a LOT buggy. I faced these bugs on my friends cellphone when I flashed a Y-s ROM on Duos:
1) Lock Screen is buggy and some times shows white screen
2) It shows Low battery even though battery is charged
3) Network doesnt work at all, even single sim doesnt work
4) Auto rotation doesnt work
5) Many apps and camera, music player doesnt work due to the low battery bug.
Are you sure you want to install now ?

It doesnt help at all. It is a NORMAL SGY ROM. Its NOT for duos.
It causes all the bugs I've mentioned in the previous post. Not at all recommended.

What i meant by porting is to port a galaxy y Rom to duos - you could either ask the developer of Rom for help (you should be ready to test and provide him necessary dump or the likes ).
But there are some Roms for duos right ? Why not try em !
Maybe you guys could group together and build one
Also i highly recommend seeking advice from 'deadly.'- he is a very knowledgeable guy and owns duos - you could find him somewhere around here itself (look in ot too)
