After completely messing up my xda exec by trying to flash a new rom or whatever it is, by downloading and running the program, it got stuck in bootloader, anyway my brother has 'sorted' for me only -
I cant disconnect from the internet...... ( i press the icon at the top of the screen
but there is no longer a disconnect
option)
the home sreen is now filled with 1 big digital clock that blanks the screen every minute when the time changes.
I DO NOT KNOW HOW OR TO FLASH A ROM, NOR WILL I ATTEMPT IT AGAIN, i have read oorb3000's home page and it may aswell be written in binary code, I hoped it would have been simple, but what ever is.
If 1 of you could give me some cab downloads or direct links that still work I would really appreciate it. I am looking to make my phone fun again, cheers peeps, please get back to me ( today is 8/7/11, tonight would be nice lol)

na its doing my head in, i regreted writing this site is useless by editing my post, for some reason the page reloaded without the edit and now i dont have an edit option. AARRRGGGHHHH! this phone is so annoying. Obviosly it wont happen tonight but please people, I need to be able to disconnect from the internet without having to reset the phone, a few weeks of doing that wont do it any favours, plus i would have to carry a charger everwhere. Im not having alot of luck with this phone. Its close to going in the bin lol
You'd most probably be better flashing (or getting someone else to flash) a ROM that you do like. However to disconnect from internet just bring up the comm-manager (do this from the start menu). Sorry I only infrequently pass by this way.
yeah cheers mate, i figured it out last night. All I need now is a decent Football Manager game, any ideas? once again google is useless lol

Man what a pile of rubbish!
Very large for a PPC app, uses up most of your Today screen, didn't work properly on my Hermes (messenger would never close - soft reset). There was no problem with the installation on a clean device.
I uninstalled it and have got 'Windows Live:33 Unread' messages, stuck on my Today screen. The account is gone but it hasn't cleared it from the Today screen. Tried everything short of hard reset.
Just use the Web version - nothing on your device!
Yepp...i agree...gloggs up your system. I find my hermes slow enough and not responsive as it is.
I had this running 2 times (first time was messed up)on my device, but didnt like it. A pure messenger version without all the live crap is much more useful.
But hey, we dont have to be available in any IM program ALL the time.
I end up with people asking me "i tried to reach you! where were you?" if i choose not to be on or have me phone switched off.
I remember the good old times, where, when someone didnt pick up the phone, he wasnt available and it was ok. Ahhh...so peaceful.

If this is not what you are looking for, or the zip doesnt contain the version you need, i cant help you. The other, older versions, i deleted.
My ppc software folder is like 5GB big...so i dont want to keep older versions.

I have a verizon 6700. I have been trying to download everything I need all day. I have tried different peoples programs, and it doesnt seem to be working. Maybe i didnt drop things in the right folder or something. I have no idea right now. If ANYONE can help me, I'll be up all night until I get it right.. Every thing from the home screen to the icontacts, to the sms chat, to the s2p, to the pixsel browser..all of it isnt working right. I guess I need step by step instructions for my phone. Uhh......majority of the apps are simple ".cab" files, just click on them in the file explorer of your PPC. Really, it's that simple. If you need other help, post in the above mentioned thread, and be more specific, can't help fix a problem we don't understand ourselves!

I had a wing about 1 year ago and i sold it because i had no idea that this web site even here and i had no idea how to use it. I mainly got rid of it because it was really slow and the touch screen you had to use that stylus. Now that I found this website I want to get the wing again. I have been reading and reading for like the past week and i read the guides and for some reason I still dont understand how to flash new roms and everything. so im wondering if someone would be willing to help me step by step over aim or something when i get my wing sometime with in the next week.
also i see a lot of people are having problems with the wing with applications not working and sms and mms and all other things not working and all that.. is that something that happens when you flash a new rom or what is the cause?
also is there a facebook or myspace application i can put on my wing? i am addicted to facebook and myspace..
also if a new rom is flashed would i still be able to download applications from other websites like handago and they will still work with the rom?
I think thats all the questions that i have.. if i have more i will post something else. Thanks in advance for the responses that i may get! everything is appreciated.

havent run into an app that is solely for for those but i use opera mini its free and works wonderful for other web pages as well

yep the chef who cooks the roms here do not lock installations on aps
so any rom that i put on there i can put any applications on there that i want also?
also for the touch roms does it make it easier to use your finger? i remember when i had the wing before i always had to use the stylus.. anyone out there willing to help me when i get my wing to flash the roms..
I wish that there were more pictures on here of the roms so i will know what i am flashing.
that is a question of the interface usually u will still have to use the stylus but some of the roms UI are finger friendly

My first post here, so forgive me if this was posted in the wrong forum!
Here goes, I have an HTC touch pro 2 and my boyfriend has different bookmarks/icons on his touchflo 3d (the line at the bottom with home, contacts, photos/videos, texts, emails etc) and I'd also like to have those on my phone. I tried using the search but nothing came up. I wondered if any of you knows where I can find those different icons/bookmarks?
And a silly other question, if found, could somebody also please explain how to install it?

Well,i was just experimenting added a couple of things,and now my phone is not responding it just stays in one screen. Cant get to none of settings file locater all it says is "ERROR" please help i'm not too good with none of this tweaks,roms or none all i added was BsB,touch tools. Phone is only 2 wks old please helpp

Do a hard reset. This will "reload" your phone back to factory settings. Turn off. Hold the up and down volume buttons while pressing the on button. It will will walk you through the rest. Most of those tweaks conflict. I recommend loading a custom ROM until you know what your doing.

It would be helpful if you post exactly what you did that caused the problem that way people can learn from the experience. Also be careful what you try...especially just starting off. There are still things I wont try for fear of bricking..or having to hardreset. I got it down to like 15 mins and I am back to running like I was before the hardreset but it is annoying to have to reinstall all the little tweat and mods I had.
Titles like the one you've used really make things worse. It doesn't serve the community in anyway except to alleviate your problem.
It's not rocket science to come up with a more descriptive title. That way if someone else has the same problem in future, they could learn a thing or two based on the suggestions everyone has made in your thread.
Click on EDIT in the first post that you made. Go to advanced and edit the title of this thread... PLEASE!
