guys I used fasterfix for the gps issue......I mistakenly set the serverr multiple times.......I didn't even make a copy of my gps.conf......wht can I do to fix this........can someone provide me the orignal gps.conf that came with the 3.1 update.....?? .will this solve it??
And I uninstalled fasterfix and went to delete some file(as stated in a thread) under dalvik-cache but didn't quite find it....plz reply fast!!!

This is the stock 3.1 file from Build 4.010.24_COM_GEN1 update and I suppose this is the Indian/Asian build. Have'nt tested the GPS yet, but sitting indoors I am getting a view of 3 satellites with good SNR.
This can't be indian......coz the server in it is north/latin america....don't remember exactly....

Yeah I unrooted to wait for official ota. I've done it before and it automatically pushed the May ota. This time it didn't. I've used a PB31IMG.zip from way back. I'll try to RUU that's on here to see if that does it. I just don't want to miss the ota because I'm missing this old one.

Hi I have been trying to flash SBF for about 2 weeks now. Can someone please point me to the 1.5.7 sbf that they know works. I have tried about 4 different files. And it either goes straight to processing and finishes in about 2mins then gives error, the other file goes fine and takes about 35min to finish but then gives the error cannot flash file. Iam now rooted on 1.83 but cannot enable webtop hack and would like flash a clean build. Thanks.

Think you have to flash. 1.2.6 retail sbg we have here first, than update to 1.5.7. No sure if you can go back from 1.8.3 but I was reading that some people here did it without any issues

I got the .57 webtop hack to work on .83 after clearing my /data.
Not sure why this works (I had try to clear everything *dock* *portal* etc in /data already) but it did.

Forgive me for the typos in my previous posts I was excited. I tried to install a couple of files but was unsuccessful. I suggest. That any one anxious enough to try to install ics rom wait until there is a file available and tested. Otherwise it will be a wild goose hunt.

1. Download its a slow download.
2. Move update zip to open recovery/updates.
3. Do all whipes first then install.
A1. If your using xt720modsbf use Korean boot.
B1. If your using regular sbf use j.y.daddy bootfix.
4. Download bootfix install/open recovery/ updates.
Update.cm9 browser.update.zip
Apply open recovery/updates.
Stay on stock launcher recommend.
DO not install any task manager.
