Hello, I just aquired the mytouch 4g phone and I came from a HD2 and Samsung vibrant. I noticed in the Samsung android phones that there is a folder in the root called efs with the file nv_data.bin but I cannot find it in the mytouch. Is there such a folder and file in the mytouch?
This is the folder I am talking about.

Does anybody know what is this folder? I see it all the time and it looks like only root has access to write to the folder. Is this an important folder?
Bump. In surprised this folder was never explored. Looks like it gets written on every boot.
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using XDA App
Dunno, looks important.

Hi guys!
Today I've noticed several links to folders in my root partition (i9505).
I can remember that they don't were there the last time i had to work on it. (or at least i didn't notice but i doubt about it).
Is it normal. It may be that an app caused this?
I'm on PacMan rom and rooted of course if it can help.
TY! :laugh::good:

Hi All,
I've been using my G2 and thanks to this function I have got a lot numbers in my reject list. But before moving to a new ROM I want to extract them somewhere like notepad so that I can include them again.
Any idea if that's possible?

Hi everyone!
I came from CloudyG3 (3.3) to Stock KitKat just for searching the differences between both's Build.prop, and in that way, could have 4G. But when I came back to CloudyG3, I found something different: I'm without the Build.prop!
I tried with Root Explorer and FX File Explorer, and both shows me like I'm without it! Just a blank space...

I don't know what to do... But I don't know how it's possible my phone could lost it, and how can work without it...

Do I need all this folders to the phone properly work? Or can I just delete them all except the rom one?
But - why? "Phone manager" can delete empty folders, but OS make another one.
