Hey, I was checking SEUS moments ago as I am going to install official firmware to my father's X8 and my eye caught a phone called Xperia acro (IS11S). I've never heard of it though. What are your thoughts?
I´ve serached for it, and it seems to be a new phone that was leaked by Sony in April.

As for as I know, the phone is not out or leaked so we can't get our hands on it at all. Eventually I'm hoping that the app is ported more so than the OS, but lookin forward to it I suppose. It'll be interesting and probably about useless without a game controller (still have the wiimote ect though if someone hacks that in)
Well I know the xperia arc system dump came out and I used the timescape app from. Id make a rom from the system dump of I knew how or if it could ne dome

Hi guys
Picking up my midnight blue Arc tomorrow, just need someone to detail the most efficient way of migrating from my current X10i to Xperia Arc. Please spare no expense on detail, my contacts are stored on google but I am yet to figure out how to move my SMSs to the new device.
Any advice or information would be appreciated.

I migrated from X10 to Arc & i can tell you what i did
I saved all my contacts on SD card... And all SMS, MMS, Some other data with MyBackup.. Then i installed Mybackup on Arc & i used same SD card in Arc & restored contacts & data in Arc But i manually installed apps

SMS Backup was very important for me also Happy i was able to do that
I am very happy with ARC (but i was happy with X10 as well).. But ARC is my love Attention-grabber... Everyone get stunned by ARC's looks.. And performace of ARC is better than X10 for sure & now we have got it rooted so it will be one of the best phones in market
hell yes! like you I use google to sync contacts and calendar.. so that's easy.. recommend mybackup for sms.. believe it will also do apps, but I reinstalled them fromm the market too..

My old man had a conference in Dubai so figured it would be cheaper & better to get the Arc that way. Just setting it up now (labour of love etc etc
) ... man it is actually very impressive in the 'flesh' as it were

I think he knows He's talking about a minor update to the phones that are already on 2.3.3 buddy.
@OP Good news nonetheless. As long as they'll update the Arc, we'll get the update as well within a few hours

They have probably taken Z music fix. If we get lucky it would be bravia, xloud and fps fix but sought they would go that far. Maybe they stopped us being able to pre root their roms?

It depents. Is there anyone interested in working to port this for Xperia S? You can try asking people in the Xperia S forum and linking the HADK there, or even try porting this yourself.
I'd have thought development of Sailfish ROMs for Xperia devices would best best be focused on what are or will be the most popular ones.

Main problem now it is that phone don`t go to sleep, which cause huge battery drain. Once i resolve it i`ll share image
