Stop creating new pointless threads! It creates way too much clutter. There is already a useful thread in place for exactly this comment.
Can someone please lock this one.
What's the point of this thread again?---Krazzy already updates all the firmwares list

i am new to x8...i cant able to understand the step by step tutorial thread....so plz help me... i need rootin in ma x8!!!!!!
First of all you should've post what's the problem, on what step do you have problem. And Secondly you should've post it in thread where the guide is.
bhai if you r not able to follow my guide then sorry, nobody can help you.
thoda dimaag chalao samajh aa jaega!
and yes, you need to learn some rules over here. you should NOT make a new thread for useless questions! Okay!!?
pls abide by the forum rules and reuse existing threads for your questions whenever possible
also use the correct forum in case you need to open a new thread, this one is definitely not dev related
moved to general and closed
Thx and best, DK
Hello to everyone
First i would like to thank all the people who have contributed and help other people in here with there problems.
Secondly after reading and reading i can't help to notice that the board is not organised and confusing to to members. A point in case is when i tried to read on adb and fastboot, i got people especially senior members point to 3 different threads relating to same thing and and steps somehow diffrently eg i got pointed
to 1.[GUIDE] ADB, Fastboot, and Nandroid for Noobs,
2.[Newbie Guide] adb/fastboot/bootloader/android 101
3. [Guide] Setting up ADB [Windows]
All this are guide, pointed out for you to and these guides talk in regards to their device in there specific device threads. Yet you are being pointed to them from arc threads. some of this threads mention requirements and one of the requirements is the device. so somebody coming from arc threas being pointed here gets bamboozled when he reads and find out it's talking on lets Say HTC phone. Really confusing and when a newbie ask a question, some senior members instead of answering politely, the answer as i see it rudely with sometime " see the links in my Signature"
I ask to these kind of people if u cant answer just dont answer better than saying "see the links in my signature" in which if u follow the link sometime u dont get ur answer.
Let other people answer the guy if u cant. Kindly see this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=17893157 for you to understand. see how some people reply to the questioner and how others are disrespectful (as i see it). its only one page so it wont take much of your time.
Members and developers should collaborate together to create stickies on one unified guide in regards to all the aspects of arc.
lets say there should be sticky for Installing adb and fastboot for Arc, another unlocking the bootloader for arc or rooting for arc with bootloader unlocked and locked bootloader. These stickies should then be updated as new workaround or development emerge.
According to this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1034087 the arc bootloader can be unlocked free, but according to this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1037874 it cant and you have to pay in order to get it unlocked. Please anyone should read the the whole pages of the second link and he will see nowhere is mentioned that the booloader can be unlocked now for free.
Please my dear members if u cant answer just dont answer rudely as in case of this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=17893157.
Thank You

This thread is updated daily. Thank you to everyone who contributes to this thread. It makes having these phones so much better.
If there are any custom ROMs or Kernels that you know about, just post them and bring to our attention. If you have tested a ROM or Kernel, leave feedback so someone else can use it.
Also, if you had a problem and then fixed that problem, please share the information that you used in order to fix that problem. Others will have the same problems and it is much easier to find help this way.
What rom best rom, or kernel posts are not allowed .
Problems and fixes are posted in the stickied faqs and guides .
This is just another thread to add to the confusion .
Mod Edit
Unnecessary thread is unnecessary.

I had posted earlier in this forum expecting for some help but my thread has been closed saying it was a 'duplicate' and gave me 3 other links to the posts which seemed to be its duplicates. I couldn't find anything I needed in any of the threads given. So please do not close this thread until I can actually get some help...
I've tried flashing several versions of the stock ROM including JX's Series ROMs but my phone won't get any network. I just need the baseband file version 'M8952_70030.25.03.62.01R ATHENE_INDIA_DSDS_CUST'. I would really be indebted

Your thinking is wrong, XDA comunity does not work that way.
If you create new post for old topic/duplicate thing, it will be closed. No matter if old issue is shorted out or not.
you have already created your post, keep your discussion to that thread only, i will reply here. https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/help/invalid-zip-file-format-twrp-message-t3732332/
Otherwise post in help thread (newbie friendly) here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/help/help-thread-question-noob-friendly-t3526598
Also dont post in all threads. Post your question only once.
Thread closed, do not post threads that are the same or similar to already existing threads.
5. Create a thread topic or post a message only once, this includes external links & streaming media.
As a large forum, we don't need unnecessary clutter. You're free to edit your message as you like, so if you do not receive an answer, revisit your message and see if you can describe your problem better. Not everyone is online at the same time so it might take a while before you receive an answer.
•Duplicate threads and posts will be removed
•Always post in an existing thread if a topic already exists, before creating a new thread.
•Use our search function to find the best forum for your device.
