I cant figure out how to use tomtom navigator on the palm treo pro. Im using mordaz spanish rom and I install a tomtom navigator software that the only thing it said is "there are not maps", next saids download a free map, but then it saids "This device cant download free maps", then it does not alow me to do any more.
If someone can point me to a download link Ill appreciatte.
I need the tomtom navigator for spanish Mexico.
Hope some one can help me. I think I install tomtom 7, but im not sure.

So, I do the instalation but cant figure out how to install a map. My screen stops at "there is no map, you can download a free map from website" but there is no free map.
How did I purchase one?

please can somebody help me, i have a HTC P3300 not the premium edition so i only got one map to d/l from Tom Tom. I am trying to get the full version of Tom Tom cracked onto my Pocket PC. I have d/l lots of different versions etc but i just dont know what to do with it.
COuld somebody point me in the right directions of a suitable download then an idea of what to do with it once i have it, sorry for being such a dunce but i am tearing my hair out!!!!

I'd recommend iGo - find it much better than TomTom, though both are great.

i use a site called XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, try it, it has all the satnav programs for all devices cracked, i have tomtom 6 from there and works a dream, there is also loads of walkthroughs on how and where to install it, regards

Do you know how to use torrent. If you do then just to the www.isohunt.com or www.mininova.org and download a whole package including Tomtom 6 and maps (North America&EU) If you don't then do some research on your own because English is not my first language so it is hard to explain how to use torrent to you. I hope this help
getting it now, but maps will work with any tomtom version right?

I haven't test the V6.xx map on a Tomtom V 5.xxx but I think it doesn't work. The latest map and software that I could find at this moment which is v6.75
Have you try torrent yet?
v6.5x maps will work with tomtom 5 & 6
v6.6x Maps and above only work with tomtom v6

First a thank you for all the support I found here. Tried to install TomTom 7 on the X1 (legit) with ttn7.cab and TT..repack3, none worked. It starts to install but on the end it shows "unsuccessful". You can open TT, even download also "unsuccessful" a free map, what I do not need. The maps I have are all from TT6, but none is recognzed by TT7. Calling TT does not help they do not support TT7. TT home 2.5 does not see the X1. SE has no idea. I also talked to Navigon in Europe but there is yet not a WM 6.1 compatible version available. Just want my navigation back and working. Can anyone direct me to get it done?
are you using a qvga or vga version of the cab file? i have tomtom7 installed very easy on my x1 and works perfect
also tt7 doesnt support tt6 maps as far as im aware,but tt7 maps everything installed really easy on wm6.1

Don't mean to hijack your thread but.....
I would like to purchase the UK & Western Europe maps but not certain which ones to buy (Tom Tom site does not list X1) also I cannot get TT Home to recognize the X1 so not sure if I can install the maps even if got them.
Anyone done this yet?
I bought mine for cruise/diamond and it works fine

1) Use the old TT Home version - 1.5 - this will work !
2) TT 7 works with 6.75 maps - earlier versions not !

Just Google TomTom 1.5 and you will find it - if not leave me a message and I email you the file
Hi Peter, will try what you say to get it done. I used TomTom before on my Ipaq. I must change the "device" in TomTom Home- how? Where can I find on my maps which version they are, they are paid and downloaded. Which version of TT7 are you using? Would be greatif you could help out, thanks anyway
I went and got myself a download of tomtom 7 navigator from here, then went to tomtom to get maps, bought them only to find that they will not install as the navigator i have is not legal. BRILLIANT!!!!. So i have a full version of uk maps but no navigator to put it on. Would anyone no where i could download a trial version of tomtom 7, you no the one that you would get with vodafone tytn11, any help would be appreciated. I did a search but theres nothing that i could find ???
